Why was there a cat boy in their living room?
Many thoughts ran around Grian's head when he opened the door to their dorm, but the unfamiliar face of a mint-haired cat boy sitting on their couch took his attention quickly.
Grian never knew what to expect after leaving Sam alone for a few hours, but it usually didn't end with a stranger on their couch.
At least, most of the time.
Taurtis, who was behind Grian, seemed to vocalize his thoughts.
"Who the heck is that?"
Sam spun around so fast you would've thought you walked in on him doing something private.
Yet, he was fully clothed. Grian nearly found himself sighing in relief. While it was rare, Grian had once opened the door to be greeted by a naked Sam passed out on the couch.
"Uh…"
"Sam, did you bring another prostitute to the dorm?" While Grian had seen Sam naked on the couch, Taurtis had been unfortunate enough to be greeted with the sight of a naked stranger upon opening Sam's bedroom door.
The guy on the couch seemed flattered to be called a prostitute, but Grian couldn't quite tell.
Sam rolled his eyes. "He's uh… My friend."
Fully stepping into the dorm, Taurtis spoke up after shutting the door. "Friend in what context?"
"I sell him drugs in an alley." Mystery man finally spoke, making Grian, who was putting the groceries away, freeze.
Sam snickered, but upon seeing the look Grian was giving him, he explained.
"Listen… We smoke together sometimes. He needed a new dorm and we needed a fourth roommate so…" Sam shrugged.
"You didn't think to ask us first?" Grian had finished putting away the groceries, now having turned to face Sam, his hands on his hips.
"Well… Technically I haven't moved in yet." The stranger had moved so he was standing in front of Grian. He held out his hand.
"My name is Coolment. Sam and I have a class together. That's how we met. Though, we do smoke together sometimes too. Taught him how to shotgun."
Grian begrudgingly shook his hand, not even attempting to hide the mild disgust on his face.
So what if Grian got a small bit territorial over his boyfriends, sue him. The thought of Sam exchanging smoke with another man made him cringe.
However, Grian liked to present himself as the mature one of the group. Or at least he tried to. So, he tried to be somewhat tolerant of the weed smoking cat boy standing in his living room.
"I don't see why he can't move in, he could help pay for groceries!" Taurtis chimed in, smiling. He definitely could sense Grian's distaste of the man, but he thought his jealousy was hilarious.
"Fine, but he's sharing a room with you." Grian pointed at Taurtis.
"That's fine with me!"

The move in was quick, Coolment already had his stuff in boxes. Sam accompanied him on the trip between floors, but the moving of boxes only took about an hour total.
Sam wanted to go help Coolment set his decorations up, but he was stopped by Grian grabbing him by the neck of his shirt and pulling him into their shared bedroom.
Grian all but tossed Sam onto his bed, shutting the door behind them.
"Hey! What's go-" Sam's question was cut off by Grian climbing on top of him.
Sam was on his back with his knees bent in front of him. Grian had placed himself in between Sam's legs, with his hands placed on each side of Sam's neck.
Sam was effectively pinned down, with Grian on top of him looking like a hungry animal.
Grian was on his hands and knees as he kissed his way down Sam's jawline.
Sam wasn't normally one to push away a hot guy pinning him down and aggressively kissing him, but this was uncharacteristic for Grian.
Well… Uncharacteristic considering it was the middle of the day.
He pushed Grian off, sitting up with his hands behind to support him. "Dude, what's going on?"
Grian wiped his mouth, breathing a bit too heavily. "What… do you mean…" He spoke between breaths.
"You're acting like a cat in heat."
Grian visibly cringed at the comparison to a cat, which made Sam's jaw drop in amazement.
"No way. Are you jealous?" Sam tried to hide his grin, but it just ended up looking like he was smirking.
Grian's face heated up at his words, making Sam nearly start giggling with excitement. "No! I just-"
"You're jealous of Coolment!"
Grian sat back on his heels, hiding his beet red face with his hands. He was jealous.
It was stupid how jealous he was over an offhand comment about shotgunning, yet his mind had chosen to fixate on it.
"Did he really teach you how to shotgun?"
"Yeah, wanna try?"
Grian climbed off of Sam's bed, walking over to his own and pulling out a couple of things from underneath.
He dug out a small box, which he brought with him as he climbed onto the bed.
Grian stayed quiet as he went through the motions of packing a bowl.
Sam filled the silence, blabbering on about how hot shotgunning was and how excited he was to show Grian.
Grian had finished packing his bong, but he refrained from lighting it. He frowned, setting down his lighter and scowling at Sam.
"If it's so hot then why don't you go ask your new boytoy to do it with you?"
Sam paused, furrowing his brows. "Boytoy?"
"You know. Coolment?"
Sam was dumbfounded, staring open mouthed at Grian. "You think we're fucking?"
Grian's face went red. "Well, if you wanna put it that bluntly."
"Dude, we just have some english class together. I can't believe you're this jealous, fuckin simp." Sam took the bong and lighter from Grian's hands, lighting the bowl.
"You said he taught you how to shotgun!"
Sam moved closer to Grian. He brought the mouthpiece closer to his mouth, but paused to speak.
"I asked him to teach me, so I could try it with you." Sam rolled his eyes and inhaled from the bong, pulling smoke into the chamber.
Grian didn't know what to say, so he just moved closer.
Sam removed his finger from the hole, inhaling again, this time pulling the smoke into his mouth. He leaned close to Grian's face, pressing their lips together.
Grian sank into the kiss, parting his lips slightly.
Sam blew the smoke into his boyfriend's mouth, groaning softly into the kiss.
He pulled away then, wiping his mouth with his jacket sleeve.
Grian looked starstruck. He exhaled the smoke, looking at Sam in awe.
"Are you still jealous?"
Grian blinked, shaking his head. It felt like he just got swept off his feet.
"I won't be if you do that again."
Sam grinned, bringing the still lit bong to his mouth again.
It was then that the door swung open.
Coolment and Taurtis were standing in the doorway, staring the two of them down.
"I don't care about whatever gay shit you two are up to, but you are sharing that weed." Coolment clambered onto the bed next to Sam.
Taurtis followed behind, sitting across from Grian and holding his own stash.
"Sorry to interrupt, but Coolment couldn't resist."
Grian rolled his eyes, but didn't protest. He did, however, ask Sam to shotgun with him again.
Maybe Grian could learn to live with this new roommate after all.
