Chapter Text
Now your probably wondering how they ended up in this situation, wrapped in binding cloth, blood drooping from their wounds, as their led to a police station.
Lets start from the beginning.
Hive and Dare have both been active for around 2-3 years as far as the pro hero’s are aware of, and they’re good. They’ve managed to hack their way into the police records, Endeavors agency, and UA of all places, that one is the most jarring.
How did two approximately 20- ish year olds, (as their vigilante files suggest), able to hack into a data base designed by Nedzu? A question they’d all like to answer, if only they could catch them.
They’ve managed to outrun pro’s like Kami Woods, Midnight, AND endeavor of all people. They seem to not like the guy if the amount of hacking they submit him to says anything.
Recently Aizawa Shouta, otherwise known as Eraserhead, was put on the case. The underground hero was usually the best in these type cases.
Now if you asked Hive or Dare why they did what they did, they’d look at you and probably ask what else could they do?
Hive was a runaway from the foster system, he’d been abused and discriminated against for his quirk practically his whole life. He still has the scars from the muzzling. So when he finally found the chance to get out your damn right he took it.
Dare was a trickier case in the sense that he’s not simply a runaway but he’s legally dead. Yeah. You’re probably wondering how he was wrongly pronounced dead at like 11-12 without the government noticing that he’s not actually dead but, he’s quirkless. So, after his dad killed his mom and beat him half to death, there was enough blood at the scene that they didn’t think he survived and when he didn’t show up a month later, he was officially pronounced dead. They didn’t care that much for him regardless.
But they had one major thing in common.
Both of them had always wanted to be hero’s.
And once they’d met they had decided they wouldn’t leave each other like everyone left them. They wouldn’t be failed ever again because they wouldn’t allow adults or discriminatory assholes in general to hurt them again. At least they thought so.
Hitoshi was sitting against a building wall in an alley way, scratching at his arms pointedly ignoring the blood staining his body left over from his foster parents attack two weeks prior. He’d healed up decently considering the situation and had been trying his hardest to stay invisible and alive when he saw a boy around his age gasping for breath as he ran down the streets.
A panic attack, he realized.
Despite the pain and weakness he felt in his body Hitoshi forced himself to get up and shakily head over to help calm the green-headed teen.
“Excuse me?” The boys breath hitched and he jerked his head up to look at Hitoshi fearfully.
”What’s your name?” It took the boy a minute to respond but he shakily managed to, “I- Izuku.”
Hitoshi really hoped the boy didn’t hate him after this but he expects it. It doesn’t matter, he’ll still help.
Hitoshi flared up his quirk, “Breathe slowly, and calm down.” He commanded.
He watched as the boy- Izuku- listened, slowing his breathing and calming down more by the second. After a bit of silence he looked up at Hitoshi and just as Hitoshi was waiting for it to happen, waiting to be yelled at or hurt when instead he heard something astonishing.
”Was that your Quirk?! It’s a voice quirk, but it’s also a mental quirk isn’t it? It’s like my body couldn’t think for itself and I just listened to you like it was natural! That was so cool and-“ Izuku stopped mid sentence at seeing Hitoshi shocked and slightly tearful expression and immediately shrunk in on himself. “I-I’m sorry I know it’s creepy.. I’ll leave you alone now.” Shinsou was shocked as izuku started to tear up and back away.
He wasn’t afraid of his quirk. The opposite, he found it cool. Hitoshi was trying to keep his tears at bay, “I-it’s okay! It’s not creepy I was just surprised.” Horseshoe blushed slightly, he wasn’t the best at social situations. Oh well might as well try, considering this is one of the only people he’d ever met who didn’t immediately despise him. “We could be friends…?” He hesitatly asked still halfway expecting the other show to drop.
But Izuku lit up like Hitoshi had just told him he won the lottery. “Really?”
Hitoshi allowed himself a smile, “really.”
Three years later and they’re still side by side, fighting together and bringing some justice in the only way they can as a ‘villainous’ runaway and a legally dead Quirkless kid.
It’s been a long while since they had accidental committed illegal vigilantism and then decided to run with it but hey, they did it together, all of it. They stuck together through all the hard times, the nights of no food, or freezing hiding inside a box in an alley, the being forced to steal just to survive. They crafted their own costumes, practiced fighting, got alias’s, picked up hacking and such, hell they even made quite a few connections as their alias’s Hive and Dare.
There were pretty decently known in the underground especially through other vigilantes they’ve traded information or teamed with rarely. That and their names have been thrown around between some minor criminals and higher villains.
More vigilantes thank you’d think tend to end up switching to villains for many reasons so their have been a decent chunk of villains and such trying to get them to switch over completely from the more rightful side of morals to get their skills.
They said no. Most of them back off once they see their body posture and tight grip on their weapons after being asked to intentionally harm someone for no reason. Some, it took getting a knife in the shoulder to take the hint.
Anyway the point is right now Izuku is dizzy as fuck and it’s pissing him off. Why is he dizzy? You may ask, well that brings us back to where we left off. Hanging off of a building roof by a certain pain in their- ass, Pro- hero Eraserhead. Yippe. Toshi’s here too also, laying next to him as the blood rushes to their heads. You know as if the injuries from the villain fight they’d barley escaped weren’t bad enough.
Soon they’re lowered to the ground as Eraser lands next to them. They’re still struggling against the cloth in fear as their hands are bound and they can’t keep their masks on their faces if they were to be taken off. That and they both don’t have the best experience with being bound helplessly. Surprising right? Yeah, thought so.
“Calm down, you won’t be able to get out. All you’re doing is hurting yourself s.” A familiar gruff voice informed them.
Hitoshi huffed put a breath and with his voice changer still in effect he spoke sarcastically, “thanks for that knowledge Eraser. What would we do with out ya’?”
Eraserheads face doesn’t change. “Hive.” Is all he replies, turning his head towards izuku, “Dare.”
”That’s me!” Izuku shouts out in his distorted voice.
”I’m taking you two in.” Is all he says, short and to the point as he pulled on the cloth and forcefully drags them to stand on their fear and walk, less they want to fall straight onto their faces.
Izukus trying really hard to freak out okay? He really is but the analytical side of him is not liking where this is going. They’ve been caught. He can’t see a way out of this. Erases these has erasure on so Hitoshi can’t use his quirk on him, and obviously Izuku doesn’t have a ducking quirk and it wouldn’t matter if he did because of who caught them. Not to mention their headed straight for a police station and no amount of struggling to escape these binding cloths of Eraser’s is working and his breathing is increasing and- holy shit their in the police station now. When did that happen?
”Tsukauchi.” Eraserhead greets, nodding his head as he forces the two vigilantes to sit in the interview room metal chairs, officers coming in and cuffing them to the table.
They try and remain calm and are succeeding quite well in their opinion when an officer heads for Izuku’s mask.
All hell breaks loose.
Izuku jerks backwards pulling the table and Startling Hitoshi a bit as he slams his head forward and the hard mask hits the officers forehead hard, said officer bringing his hand up to his head in pain before he’s dragged away and officers head towards Izuku.
His breathing is getting to fast. He can’t breathe. He just wants Toshi but he’s being held down by his arms to the table to keep everything from escalating.
He feels himself shaking and gasping for air when the officers finally manage to take off his mask. He jerks around even more hitting and kicking hard at anything he can reach as he panics, hearing himself talking but not hearing what he’s saying, oblivious to all the concerned and shocked looks being thrown his way.
Well this mission did not go to plan at all.
