"You're doing it again, mate!"
Nico frowns when he receives an elbow in the ribs from Daniel and scowls at him.
"I'm not doing anything. What are you talking about?"
"Oh, so you are not staring at Lewis like you want to rip his clothes off and fuck him up that wall he's leaning against."
Nico blinks, "Uh, no?"
Daniel just raises his eyebrow before schooling his features again. "Must be my imagination then."
"Must be."
Daniel hums, pats him on the back and leaves him to it.
Nico just shakes his head and goes back to his driver's room.
What a silly comment to make. But it was Daniel after all.
He was just gonna forget about it. That's the best thing to do.

"Take a picture, it will last longer."
Lewis slowly turned his head to face Sebastian, giving him a confused look.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Sebastian looked amused, "It means that you're staring at Rosberg again."
Lewis blinks before he snort, "I'm not staring at Nico. I never stare at him."
"Ah. You're in the denial fase."
Lewis rolls his eyes. "I'm in no kind of fase. I just never stare at Nico. Or at anyone else."
"Right." Seb sighs, gives his arm a little squeeze. "Whatever you say, Lewis."
Lewis mumbles something and turns his head away.
He definitely doesn't go back to staring at Nico, because that's definitely not what he was doing anyway.
Staring at Nico Rosberg. Him?!
How ridiculous.
~~~~~~~~********~~~~~~~~~
Nico just can't help himself. He's too damn curious by nature.
That's why he was scrolling on his phone, looking at the pictures he found when he'd Googled for 'Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.'
He wasn't even halfway, but he already got the gist of it.
He finally understood what Daniel and Jenson were talking about when they teased him about 'those looks' him and Lewis were supposedly giving each other.
He'd never stopped to think about it about it. But why would he?
To him, it was just a friendly form of admiring the success of your childhood best friend.
But taking a closer look at these pictures - -- Yeah. He kind of got it.
But the thing that struck him the most was....
He knew he he was looking at Lewis. But in these pictures it became apparent that Lewis was giving him the same looks back.
What was this?
What did it mean?!
He wouldn't be Nico Rosberg if he wasn't gonna find out.
~~~~~~~*********~~~~~~
Lewis could feel Nico's eyes on him in his hotel room the whole time.
It was unnerving.
He only wanted to watch a movie with his best friend, but said best friend was constantly watching him.
What the hell was going on?
"I didn't invite you over to stare at me, you know." Lewis finally had enough. He turned to face the blonde. "If there's something you need to say, then say it."
Nico didn't even seem to flush as he picked up his phone, seemed to search for something, then shoved said phone in front of Lewis' face.
Blinking, Lewis took the phone and was faced with a picture of him and Nico.
Frowning, he looked up, but Nico only motioned for him to keep scrolling.
Lewis looked back at the phone and started scrolling.
Picture after picture of him and Nico came into view.
What the hell was the meaning of this?
"I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for, but, this is a little creepy, man." Lewis' chuckle sounded nervous.
Nico, in a crazy spur of the moment kind of thing, grabbed Lewis' wrist instead of his phone, making Lewis look up at him in alarm.
"Friends don't look at each other like we do."
Oh.
Ohhhhh.
Lewis glances down at the phone, the image stuck on a picture where they're looking particularly fond at each other.
"Nico..." Why does his mouth feel so dry all of a sudden?
Well... Maybe it's because Nico is leaning over, so, so close to his face. He's practically crawled into his lap by now.
"Tell me to stop." He can feel the blond's breath on his face as he speaks. "Tell me. I'll never bother you about it again."
He should push Nico away.
He should. He should. He should.
But that's not what he wants.
So that's not what he does.
It's Lewis' time to act all crazy, because one moment he's staring into grey-blue eyes and the other he's crashing his mouth against his and lips mould against each other in their first kiss.
His hand drops the phone and latches onto Nico's shirt instead.
This probably isn't what 'just friends' are supposed to be doing either.
But neither of them cares about it at all.
