Sleeping in one bed with your boyfriend was one thing.
Sleeping in one bed with said boyfriend who kept on tossing and turning was a whole different thing.
You try and sleep when you get kicked in the shin suddenly. Or a hand whacked into your face out of nowhere.
Yeah.... Sleep was nearly impossible.
It wasn't like this occurred every single night, thank God for that, but it happened enough times to suffer from lack of sleep at the end of the week.
Lando already wasn't a morning person, but on the mornings of a night with terror Daniel (affectionately) he was exceptionally grumpy.
It was one of those nights again....
Lando was trying his best to fall asleep with a restless Daniel next to him.
He already tried different things.
From combing his fingers through his b, to stroking his cheek, to bluntly just wrapping himself around the older man to try and make him settle.
Nothing helped.
Sighing, he poked Daniel in his side. "Stop squirming. I'm trying to sleep."
"'m sorry," Daniel grunted. "I can go to the guest room or to the couch if you want."
"What I want is for you, and me too of course, to get some decent sleep."
"But I'm keeping you awake if I stay here."
"Danny, just---" Lando huffs, turns his back towards him, then reaches behind himself, grabbing Daniel's arm and pulls until Daniel moves along and they're spooning. "There," Lando states, still holding onto Daniel's arm, draped over his side. "Now sleep."
Daniel chuckles against the back of Lando's neck and kisses his shoulder.
He closes his eyes and finally settles.
They're both asleep in no time.
