Summary
Edward Teach, owner of Blackbeard Productions, is one of the most well-known and successful cryptid hunters in the country. His crew wants for nothing, and they are damn good at what they do. Thing is, though, Ed's weary. He's tired of the convention circuit, he's tired of the constant networking and attention, and he's tired of the way they go about things.
Ed's entire world shifts on its axis when he attends Cryptid Fest 2023 as the highest-billed special guest. By chance, he stumbles upon a panel being run by Stede Bonnet, The Gentleman Hunter, a newbie on the scene. But what Stede lacks in experience he makes up for with excitement and creativity, and Ed is instantly fascinated. Never before has he wanted to collaborate with another crew the way he finds himself wanting to now.
Is meeting Stede the breath of fresh air that Ed has been searching for, his chance to break away from the monotony? Or is the whole endeavor another whim, one that invites incredible risk and could unravel them all entirely?
