   Summary

   Wirt is an awkward kid who doesn't feel secure in himself. He's bullied, scrawny, and talks to various ghosts of centuries past and present. (Or is he?) His only friends are Sara and a talking bird named Beatrice. Though, he knows he's the only one who sees her.
