There's something there between you two.
It's love, of course it is. But it's more. It's friendship, and the feeling of coming home, but it's scary, like skydiving or riding a race car and so many other things. And you see yourselves in each other, yet you're so, so different. It's everything, and the best thing that has ever happened to you.
Perhaps it's the only thing that has happened to you that matters.
And your heart swells thinking about how beautiful that all is. Sometimes you think you might lose it. That thought makes you cry alone at night.
