   Summary

   A'lexi lost all hope and will to live after losing her parents to the rebellion. The only person who kept her from ending it all was her best friend Sloane. Conscription day was here but Sloane was too young to enter with her. She promised Sloane she will be there next year when it was her turn to be at Basgiath. It was just one more year of watching over Sloane until Sloane can be with her brother, then maybe A'lexi will be able to meet her family too.
