Summary
Like a black shroud choking the lands, the Dark Army led by Lord Kas acted as a new plague, overrunning the lands with one goal in mind, to reach the country of Loch Nora and obtain their most powerful magical item, Loch Nora’s Heart said to give the country’s kings power over the very magic of the land itself. While most expected a great war with much fanfare, the Dark Army conquered Loch Nora with a whimper as the king and queen traded the magical gemstone for their lives. Now Prince Stephen has been left to deal with the aftermath of their cowardice. In order to protect his people from harm, Steve will do what he must, even if that means entering into a dangerous wager with Lord Kas himself that might end with Steve being bitched and becoming the monstrous Lord Kas’ bonded mate.
