Hugging his father close, Ha Eungyeol smiled.
He might have failed in stopping the incident that stole his father’s hearing but he had managed to change his family’s fate for the better; Cheong-ah, no, mom is now head of the Jinsung Group, and Yi Chan, dad is now the Creative Music Director of Jinsung Music, both he and Eunho had grown up in a loving, rich family with a grandfather and lots of pseudo uncles in form of Hyun Yul, Si Guk, Se Bum and Ma Joo doting on them.
So why is he feeling a bit uneasy about this?
It grew as he went back on stage with SPINE9, performing new songs, the unfamiliar tunes his fingers somewhat knows how to play or the alien words he somehow remembered to sing.
The sensation of heaviness only eased a bit as he held Eun Yu in his arms, the only one person who seems familiar in this unfamiliar future.
That’s right.
He just needs a minute to breathe properly and learn how to live again in this strange world.
He survived being thrown into 1995, surely he can survive living in 2023, right?
