Chapter Text
Since the Honey Festival, Duke hasn’t been able to shake the loss of Miss Holloway. It seems like everywhere he goes, he can’t get over her absence.
He thinks about her when he drives by the closed down diner, when he eats a slice of cherry pie, when he hears any song from the 80s. It just brings to mind the image of red hair, a denim jacket, and a bright smile.
Her memory is like a burned photograph. He can still make out some of the details, but he can’t remember her face..
No matter how hard he tries.
