It was just another winter night as Donnie was woken up by his dumb dumb twin brother Leo.
“Morning, dontron!” Leo said. “Bardo, its like 10 in the evening what are you doing here?” Donnie asked. “Just asking if you want to play some ice hockey with me!” Leo said
“But shouldn’t we get some sleep first?” Donnie asked. “Nah, sleep is for the weak, as we my favourite twin are insomniacs, so lets go!” Leo said before he runs out of the room. “Fine but only for a few hours as I need to work on a project tht I have been willing to do this week.” Donnie said annoyed.
And so the twins got dressed up in their winter clothes and leave the lair to the surface world where thy see that most of the New York City residents have fallen asleep, giving them the chance to head to the Grand Central Park.

When they go to the lake, Leo was already setting up the goal for their ice hockey game but Donnie didn’t complained as for once his twin brother was actually inviting him to play with him. And so after the game was set they play the sport.
But it appears that Donnie is having a hard time with the game as despite his best efforts it seems like that Leo would block him from getting the goal and finds some tricks in the book to get the puck in the purple banded turtle’s goal.
But while they were playing the game, they didn’t know was that a machine was lying under the ice preparing to activate once the time comes.

And so the score was tight with Leo having 36 score point while Donnie has 0. “Sorry dontron, but it seems like you lose to neon Leon!” Leo said. “Oh yeah? Well we will see who’s the real loser here.” Donnie said.
but just when they were about to do the playoff suddenly a metal claw burst through the ice and starts flying towards Leo.
And so seeing this and not wanting his twin brother to get hurt, Donnie pushes Lo out of the way only for the purple banded turtle to get grabbed by the metal claw and plunges under the ice.
“Donnie!” Leo screamed. Until suddenly a robotic dragon appeared while holding a monster where when tin turns on reveals 3 kids and Leo realises who they are and that their the ones who trapped Donnie. “Oh great its the purple dorks again.” Leo said sarcastically. “Um, its pronounced The Purple Dragons, you idiot.” Kendra said. “Whatever.” Leo said while still being sarcastic but angry at them for attempting to kill his twin brother.
“But anyways, WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING HERE AND WHY DID YOU GUYS DO THAT TO DONNIE?” Leo asked in anger.
“Well you see, we’ve created a device that has this metal claw that grabs the target and not let them go, so we placed it under the ice and wait for you and that traitor Donnie to come here so that the jerk won’t stop us and we can finally take over the Nakamura compony.” Kendra said. “Well I’m not gonna let you guys do this especially to Donnie.” Leo said while grabbing his sword.
“You like to play by the rules huh? Well then game on, Jase, deploy our latest machine!” Kendra said. “Right sis.” Jase said. And so with one push of a button suddenly a snowman appears and when it activates, suddenly we see that it has all of the weapons it has like swords, sais and guns. “Meet our latest creation mutant, the snowman destroyer 2000” Jeremy said.
“So now you have a choice to either save your brother or save yourself from this machine before it kills you.” Kendra said. This was such a tough choice that leo has to choose, at first he didn’t want to lose Donnie, who is his twin brother. But he might get killed if he tried to do that and so after a lot of thinking, Leo finally makes a decision.
“You know what Kendra, I choose both.” Leo said before he throws his sword at the snowman machine and destroys one of it’s arm and then the sword teleports back into Leo’s arm. “Grrrrr, get that turtle snowball!” Kendra said angrily
And so Leo has a battle with this snowman machine as it shoots its guns at him and even using one of its swords to strike at him. “Come and get me, frosty the snowman, I hope that joke doesn’t give you the chills.” Leo jokily said before he strikes back by summoning a portal to teleport him where he causes another damage to the machine.
“Don’t worry Donnie, I hope your still conscious by the time I defeated Jack Frost over here.” Leo said but what he doesn’t know is that Donnie isn’t conscious right now.

Donnie felt a cold shock when he submerged into the water as this thing was grabbing onto him really tight but why would that thing be here in the first place, unless it was crated by some evil geniuses.
And so he looks at the machine and finds a purple dragon symbol on it. “Oh great, should’ve known that The Purple Dragons were behind this scheme.” Donnie thought and since he hadn’t brought his battles sell with him this could be a really hard situation to get out here. And so he pulls on the chain and tries to get it off him.
He knew that he wouldn’t have a long time to survive considering that he can only hold his breathe for at least 1 minute and he hopes that Leo might defeat those goons and save him but it might be impossible since he knew that his Dumb Dumb twin brother might get killed because of their advance machinery.
But he couldn’t think anymore as after a lot of struggling later, he coughs up a bunch of air he had and starts inhaling water. “No, no no. I can’t die, this isn’t how my story was supposed to end. Who will take care of S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N? And who will take care of Milky? Donnie thought as he tries to cough up the water which results in him inhaling more of them.
He was really scared to die, he was still 15, he was still a teenager, Leo would be alone with his twin brother, Raph and Mikey would be alone without their Austin brother and April, Cassidy, Kara, Caleb and Sunita would be all alone without their friends.
But by then he and given up hope on ever being rescued and so the softshell turtle blacks out under the ice while the machine still takes hold of him.

“Heads up, snowflake!” Leo said as he throws a snowball at the machine. And yeah he thought to himself that this would be a piece of cake as this machine wasn’t so strong after all.
And so after he stabs it with his own sword, the snowman machine blows up with Leo saying his signature catchphrase “you’ve been portal chopped!” And so after that, Kendra was really angry at Leo for defeating her latest machine. “Hey that robot cost us like a hundred million dollars!” Kendra said.
“Whatever, now then to save Donnie and get out of here.” Leo said confidently. “Oh yeah, because I think your brother is sleeping with the fished right now heheheh.” Kendra said evilly until the monster turns off and the purple dragon robot flies away.
Leo was confused by what they meant but nots the time to think as Donnie needs saving right now, and so he carves through the ice with his sword and is able to make a entrance. “Alright, time for me to take an ice bath.” Leo said until he jumps into the water. But thats when he sees it.
His twin brother, lying motionless with the claw tugging on his leg and upon seeing that this causes Leo to panic as he doesn’t want to lose his twin as he loves him. And so using his sword, he was able to slice the rope and free his twin brother before eventually taking him to the surface while also gasping for air.
And so after the both of them gets to the surface, Leo tries to wake up Donnie. “Hey, Don, you alright? Please wake up, this isn’t funny please wake up, please?” Leo said while shaking his brother’s motionless body.
But when he checks his twin’s pulse, he gulps and starts to stutter in fear. “You, you don’t have a pulse…..”

Leo started to panic, his twin brother is dead and it was his fault for letting him become the victim of the purple dragon’s machine. But luckily he stops panicking and realises taht he’s the medic of the team and that he knows all of the medical procedures.
“There is one thing that I have to do….CPR” Leo said. Thanks to his knowledge of this first aid tactics and his memories of practicing it on a dummy, he realised that this was the only way to bring back his twin. And so he begins the procedures by doing 30 pushes on the purple banded turtle’s chest err plastron but even with that Donnie didn’t stir.
And so after the 30 chest compressions were done it was now time for the mouth to mouth, which Leo uses confidently 2 times and even with that Donnie still didn’t stir and so the process continues.
But even after 5 rounds, Leo was getting pretty tired of pressing his twin’s chest and he could feel his twin’s body getting pretty cold. And during this he mentally berated himself for leaving his twin brother to die, wishing that he would’ve been the one to get trapped by the purple dragon not Donnie and tha- {cough}
His thinking was interrupted when suddenly he hears Donnie waking up and starts coughing up water with the blue banded turtle hitting his back multiple time until eventually the softshell turtle lies down on his plastron and starts breathing again with Leo listening to his heartbeat and being relieved that he is still alive as he couldn’t bear to loose his twin brother.
And so Donnie regains conscious and looks at Leo realising that he has been saved by his twin brother. “L- Leo?} Donnie asked. “Yeah its me, you had me worried there for a while. But how are you feeling” Leo said. “N-n-n-not g-g-g-good. I-I-I-I-I’m s-s-s-s-shivering a-a-a-and w-w-w-wet.” Donnie said shivering. “Hey its ok, look there’s light coming from that apartment, hopefully we can stay there since its too cold to head back to the lair ok my favourite twin.” Leo said while trying to be positive. “O-o-o-o-ok, n-n-n-n-nardo.” Donnie said. And so the twins head to the apartment building.

Later we see that they have arrived at the apartment as Leo knocks on the door at one of the room, only for Cassidy to open it.
“Leo? Donnie? What are you two doing here?” Cassidy asked. “Yeah and why is Donnie shivering Leo? And you bleeding?” Caleb asked. “We got attacked by those purple nerds again.” Leo asked being annoyed. “The Purple Dragons? Oh those bullies makes me and Synth really mad!” Cassidy said. “Woah, woah sis don’t get mad ok, these boys have suffered enough so they don’t want to see you mad ok?” Caleb said. “Ok, come in guys.” Cassidy said.
And so Leo and Donnie enters the weatherman’s apartment complex. “Yeah its just me, Caleb and Synth in this place, as Tilly is still at Art Academy, Gemma and Jerry are still fast asleep and our dad is at the news building doing his nightly shift.” Cassidy said. “Plus its currently winter break so that means we get to stay up all night.” Caleb said. “Here why don’t you guys sit on the couch while we make some hot chocolates for you guys ok?” Cassidy said “yeah just hang around here and stay right here until we get back.” Caleb said and so the weatherman twins leaves the living room and after their gone, Leo sheds in a few tears.
“Leo? You alright? Why are you crying?” Donnie asked. “I’m sorry ok, I’m sorry for letting you get wrapped up in this mess, since you died Donnie, you died and I had to brought you back.” Leo said while crying. And this makes Donnie shocked as he can’t believe that he died and had to get brought back to life by Leo and he could tell that his twin brother was not ok with this.
“Look the reason why I invited you to play ice hockey with me was so we can spend more time with each other but I didn’t imagined that this would happened, not like this.” Leo said.
And so hearing this Donnie grabbed his twin’s hands and have them hug him “look even though I don’t like hugs, I think you deserves this as, your my tin brother and thats all I could say. I’m glad that I could have you as a twin and as a friend.” Donnie said. And hearing what his twin had said makes Leo stop crying. “Thanks Dontron and I’m also glad to have you as a twin brother too.” Leo said.
And so the twins hug each other just when Cassidy and Caleb comes back with the hot cocoa and they both looked at them thinking that this is the most cutest moment they have ever seen. “Oh, Caleb, Cassidy, you saw that right?” Donnie asked. “Yep and I think that you 2 have the most cutest bonds ever!” Cassidy said. “Well since you guys are also here, wanna watch The Lego Ninjago Movie?” Caleb asked. “Sure” Donnie and leo replied.
And so Donnie, Leo, Cassidy and caleb watches it on TV and while everyone else was laughing at one of the scenes from the movie. Donnie looked at the snowflakes and smiles at them as he is glad that even though Leo is still his dumb dumb twin brother, he still loves him as a twin and is looking forward to spend some more time with him tomorrow.
