Deep breath. You got this, it’s just a simple interview. It’s either the job is yours or you just lose it, what’s the worst that can happen? Till reassured himself for the thousandth time, he cleared his throat and adjusted the red tie on his neck.
One knock, two knock..
“Come in.” A voice boomed behind the doors, Till gulped and gingerly unlocked the door.
Till bowed, “good morning— Ivan..? You..” he gazed at the ebony-coloured hair man which was gelled neatly. His suit seemed as if it just came out from the production factory, with no crisps on the shirt or pants, his leather shoes polished till the reflection of the light could be seen.
Ivan stopped typing and looked up, “ah. Till, hello there. Take a seat?” He gestured to the seat in front of him. Till blinked a few times and quickly sat down.
“Long time no see.” Ivan smiled, that goddamn smile that can get all the girls fangirling over him.
Till nodded, “nice to.. see you as well.” Ivan was his classmate at university, they used to be close buddies until that day when Till lashed out at Ivan and they broke off contact from that day onwards.
“I won’t use up too much of your time so let’s start the interview. Shall we?” Till didn’t say anything but gave a small nod.
Say, wasn’t this too much of a coincidence?

Till huffed, the awkwardness was just too much for him to handle. After six years of no contact, they somehow have finally met? In the worst way possible probably. He shook his head and headed for his apartment, after all it was almost night.
After checking his mailbox, he lethargically pressed the button for the lift to close but suddenly it was stopped by someone’s hands, trying to pry the door apart.
“Hey! Put your hands away, that’s dangerous!” Till hastily pressed the button for the lift to open, hoping he didn’t hurt the guy. Till heaved a sigh of relief when the door opened slowly.
“Are you— ah.. it’s you again..” Till felt his whole body go numb as he saw the person. Today was truly an unlucky day.
Ivan walked in the lift and pressed the close button. Waiting for the door to close, both of them stood quietly while Till hoped that the lift would move up faster.
“Till.” Ivan turned around and walked towards him, Till’s eyes widened and moved back until he hit the wall of the elevator. Ivan cornered him and slammed his hands on the wall.
“Ivan.. we.. we can talk this out..? I know you—” Ivan let go of his hands and laid his head on Till’s shoulder, snuggling in his jacket. The familiar scent that he still had six years ago.
With a muffled voice Ivan closed his eyes, “I missed you. I really did, I tried to find you, for these six years. I’m so happy that.. you’re back and I can’t even describe how happy I am, right now.” He sniffed, Till frowned and wrapped his arms around the latter.
“I.. missed you too. I did try finding you, but I guess you probably hated me. Heh, I even tried to stalk your Instagram but you don’t even post anything.” Till confessed, his eyes brimming with tears.
Ivan released him and caressed his cheeks, “you know. On that day, I wanted to confess to you.” Till opened his mouth, wanting to say something but was cut off by him.
“Guess.. I didn’t have the chance but it’s never too late, right? So Till—”
Till abruptly interrupted his confession and burst into tears, “I.. I wanted to confess as well! I.. I just got mad cause I kept seeing you hang out with that Sua girl.. I thought.. you guys were a thing or whatever. That’s why I got mad and.. well you know the rest.” Ivan laughed softly, nodding his head.
“I knew. Mizi told me. It was too late by then anyways. Also, the reason why I went out with her it’s because I wanted to ask her for dating advice. I mean, she was dating Mizi, still is. So I wanted to be prepared when facing you.” Ivan explained, making Till even more guilty.
Till let out a sneeze, eyes still glossy from the crying. “We’re both morons..” Ivan grinned and removed the jacket from himself, wrapping it around him.
“I’m glad we finally cleared this whole misunderstanding.” Ivan murmured, leaning into the silver-haired boy, he slid his arms around Till’s waist.
Till squirmed in his hold, “a-are we.. uhm.. kissing?” He peeked at Ivan who was just one inch away from touching his lips.
“Ah, is it too fast? My bad..” Ivan chuckled softly and backed away, his hands however still on Till’s waist.
Till shook his head, “it’s not that.. I’m just.. ah fuck it!” With that he leaned into Till, their lips connecting. Ivan laughed between their kissing session, thinking that the Till now was very adorable.
“Uhm. Would you please get out of the elevator?” A voice boomed making the couple jerked away, embarrassed. Till flushed, intertwining their hands and making their way to his apartment.
Ivan started to crackle outside the door, “oh god. You’re really cute Till.” He pinched his face, admiring his boyfriend.
“Thank you, idiot.” Till mumbled, his head falling on Ivan’s shoulder.
Ivan ruffled the fluffy silver hair, “no. Thank you.” He hugged Till closer and nuzzled his hair.
“Are you a dog, stop sniffing.” Till lazily complained and tried to push his face away but he was indeed enjoying it.
A laugh escaped from Ivan, “you smell nice, okay?” An eye roll was all he got.
“So am I recruited to your company?”
Ivan thought for a while, “nah.”
“Screw you.” Till playfully punched him in the stomach.
“Ouch~ okay, okay! You’re recruited.” Ivan gave a winked and an ‘ok’ sign with his fingers, hoping to get mercy.
Till crossed his arms, smirking.“That’s more like it.” Ivan took the chance to plant a small peck on his cheeks.
“Y-You! Ah! You watch out Ivan!” Till grumbled and pounced on him, their laughter rebervating around the ceilings.
