His skin felt itchy.
He wasn't even sure why. His clothes were perfectly fine even with his sensory issues.
Everything was just too much. His head hurt and his skin felt like it was on fire and the lights were suddenly way too bright. He could hear the buzz of the LEDs and he wanted to cry, but he didn't.
MJ looked over at him. She could tell he was getting overwhelmed. She wasn't sure what to do, though, cause it was the middle of class.
She shot him a text because what the fuck else could she even do?
black._.dahlia : u good luv?
peterparker : Overwhelmed. Trying not to have a meltdown right now cause we're in the middle of class and that's just embarrassing.
black._.dahlia : u want me 2 distract teach so u can escape?
peterparker : No, I can deal.
MJ looked over at him. He didn't look like he could deal, but she also didn't want to cause a scene if he didn't want her to.
She opened her backpack to try and find something. She swore she had a fidget cube in there somewhere...
It took a second but she eventually found an old fidget cube she had impulsively bought back when they were a trend. She just never got rid of it for whatever reason.
One of the buttons was broken but she silently placed it on his desk. He looked over at her and smiled gratefully before picking up the toy and beginning to fidget with it.
He took a deep breath and just tried to focus on the feeling of the plastic under his fingers.
He would be okay.
