Summary
Violet Granger spent many summers in her childhood in Stardew Valley. She loved wandering the woods and absorbing the verdant, magical energy deep into the Cindersnap Forest. But when her mother volunteered to escort Joja miners on behalf of the Adventurer's Guild years ago, everyone involved were struck down with a mysterious illness and passed away. The miners were lucky: it took them days. Violet's mother battled it for years before succumbing to it.
Years later, she works for the same company that screwed over her mother, seemingly feeling as though she had no choice because Joja was everywhere she looked in Zuzu City. That's when she remembers the envelope her granddad gave her. With a leap of faith and nothing left to lose, she takes on the task of cleaning up the run-down farm and discovering what roamed beyond the woods in the Valley.
