Work Text:
Wolf seemed to never learn from her mistakes.
First Margot. Now Kipo.
Her first clue should have been of how overly friendly Kipo was. Just like Margot.
Margot made her flower bracelets. Kipo gave her a flower hairpin.
Margot was a mutant. Kipo was one too.
Margot lied to her and betrayed her. Kipo had just done the same.
The signs had been there all along, and Wolf had chosen to ignore them. She had veke hoping that Kipo was different. That she would never do anything to hurt her.
But she was wrong.
Kipo had hidden the fact that she was a mute. Wolf didn't know for how long, but she was guessing ever since they first met.
Wolf forced her eyes shut as she could hear Benson calling for her further behind. She was never going to stop running. She never should have stopped in the first place. It just got her hurt, or ever worse, killed.
She would not let herself make the same mistake again. She was tired of being nice to people.
