Summary
It's not even ten in the morning and Natasha Romanov has already had a shit day- her boyfriend dumped her, her ferry was late, and now her Starbucks is closed; she needs a caffeine infusion, stat. So when her best friend suggests the little cafe in the bookstore down the street, she gives it a shot. Or, rather, eight of them.
Clint Barton is an emotional mess after a bad relationship that keeps coming back to haunt him. But his day starts looking up when a hot goth red-head covered in tattoos comes in and orders a drink that raises a red flag; someone is having a worse day than Clint, for once.
The coffee is just the beginning- but there's pitfall after pitfall. Clint becomes even more of an emotional wreck, and Natasha is concerned he's catching feelings for her, which is a huge thanks but no thanks. And she gets a little self-destructive in the process of running from said feelings.
