Summary
A few years after the war against Zarkon and the rest of his destructive family had been won and Earth was on the road of recovery, but then humanity had started to.. Change. Another few years added after that change and something else had begun to boil in the pot of weird things he had long learned to just accept and move on from.
Strange, it was, that he had learned so many, very many things from his time with Voltron and his friends. Had learned to accept whatever came his way, even if it seemed impossible or unrealistic, and how to embrace the things that terrified him so he could fight them with a clear head. He had learned that the trust and faith he had in his friends wouldn't fade no matter what or where they were now, or how far apart. Somehow he was still having to learn to just trust his own goddamn gut and stop blaming them for being right in the worst ways.
Lucky for him that someone else had.
