Summary
In the depths of the Yellow Woods, Hyunjin spent years with his team of only five (his family) plotting to tear down the government. Only two miles to the west, Miroh stood tall and prosperous as ever, a city of the rich crushing the poor, of terrible secrets and centuries of underlying corruption rampaging freely. They plan until they're certain, they prepare relentlessly, ready for anything to go wrong, anything that could tear them down before the government of Miroh could collapse.
Anything, at least, but betrayal.
In the end, it takes more than hope and years of planning to overthrow a government that has the sheer power and strength that Miroh holds, one step ahead in ways they hadn't imagined. Taken both as a hostage, a criminal to be punished, and a tool for the enemy's use, and with Minho's life depending solely on his obedience, Hyunjin's desperation to destroy the corrupt city-state crumbles down into desperation to survive the repercussions of a mission gone horribly wrong.
