“And tell them the best bit,” Pez said, excitement clearly visible on his face as he looked around at their little group gathered at a table in the far corner of the bar.
Henry placed his head in his hand and groaned loudly. “No.” He said, his words came out muffled and barely cohesive. He could practically feel Nora and June lean closer towards him in search of the story behind his actions.
He had the worst friends who didn’t care for his sanity whatsoever.
“Come on Hen.” Pez slipped a hand around his shoulder and tugged Henry’s body closer towards him so he was half sitting in Pez's lap while his hands flailed around as he tried to keep himself from falling head-first into the hard surface of the table.
“I told them I have a boyfriend.”
OR when Henry lies to his family about having a boyfriend he doesn't expect for said boyfriend to get an invite to Christmas. Luckily Alex is far too happy to volunteer as his fake boyfriend which wouldn't be a problem if Henry wasn't head over heels for him.
