Superhero

Summary:

The fight was over.

Jeongin had lost.

That's never happened before.

He's never lost.

And now he was being held prisoner in the villain's base—the freezing cold basement of the headquarters. Jeongin was shivering and hugging himself to try and keep in all the warmth his body had left.

Notes:

HIIIII

My first Stray Kids story~

I'm posting this here as an excuse to let you know (if you see this and/or care) that my next full book has entered the writing phase, I am not sure when the first chapter will be published.

BUT

It's called "Guerilla (No More Lies)" and it's basically a dystopian/rebel against the government-themed book.

Main ship is HongSang and side ships include SanHwa, WooGi, and 2Ho

If you're interested keep an eye out for it to be released ^_^

Enjoy~

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

The fight was over.

Jeongin had lost.

That's never happened before.

He's never lost.

And now he was being held prisoner in the villain's base—the freezing cold basement of the headquarters. Jeongin was shivering and hugging himself to try and keep in all the warmth his body had left.

Pieces of the battle were missing from his memory, he had been hit pretty hard.

He was fighting the supervillain known as Bang Chan at the top of the JYP News building, and the ice villain fired a large chunk of ice at him, and he blacked out. But why was he in the villain's base?

Jeongin's head hurt because of both the questions in his head and the piece of ice that had hit him in the head a while before.

The villain had come down already to give a long speech about how he would freeze over the world city by city and whatever, Jeongin had stopped listening halfway through. He needed to form a plan in his mind.

He didn't have any powers that could help him escape, he was just flexible and agile. His bow and arrow were nowhere to be seen, and neither were his knives or guns. He guessed that either he dropped them at the News building or the villain had taken them.

Jeongin started to tremble more violently as the temperature in the room dropped more. He decided to get up and look around the room. The second he got up, all the warmth he had left his body, and he was left colder than he was before. That was a mistake. He found a mirror in the room he was in, and when he looked in it he was surprised by what he saw. His face was very pale and his lips were slightly blue. But the most noticeable thing was that he no longer had his mask on. The villain must have removed it when he was unconscious.

Wonderful. The villain knew his identity.

He continued his search around the room. This time he came across something that would actually be useful to him. He had found a long piece of cloth that resembled a blanket, but Jeongin could tell it wasn't one. Further examination led him to believe it was the villain's cape. Jeongin rolled his eyes, who even wears capes anymore? Regardless, it could serve as a blanket. So he went back to his corner and wrapped the blanket around his body, and he fell asleep.

Chan had done it. He had finally captured the city's hero, I.N. He was almost jumping with excitement. Now nothing would stop him from taking the city. And from then, he and his team of five other team members would take over the world. City by city.

Bang Chan was part of a team of six villains known as Stray Kids. The team consisted of him, the leader, Han, the teleporting villain, Jin, the telepathic villain, Min, the invisible villain, Lix, the pyrokinetic villain, and Bin, the hydrokinetic villain. (Its a lot of names lol my bad) They mainly focused on fighting I.N. and Lee Know, the two heroes who protected the city. Lee Know had already been beaten a long time ago by Han, and the hero hasn't been seen since, leaving I.N. to fight the team all on his own.

And obviously, he lost. The young hero didn't stand a chance against a team of six powerful villains.

So now he was in the villain's basement. And Bang Chan couldn't be happier. He had waited for this moment for years, and now he would finally be over to take over the city.

The villain started to make his way to the basement where the hero was being held captive. He unlocked the door and went down the stairs, watching the shivering hero with cold eyes.

"Your city is in ruins. You are-" The villain stopped gloves half off and raised an eyebrow. "You're wrapped in my cape."

Swaddled in the thick fabric, only the hero's face was still visible, his expression trapped between a scowl and a pout. "It's cold down here, and you left it in reach. If you weren't too tight to heat your lair while keeping me prisoner down here, I wouldn't have had to resort to thievery."

"You look adorable," the villain said, forcing a sneer into his voice. Because he did. He looked adorable and warm and perfect.
