The house was as boring as ever. It was getting closer to christmas and they hadn't even starten christmas decorating. Song and Lio had just brought home stuff that they would put up. Benson and Kipo were excited to get started. Wolf was curious as to how a christmas house looked like. The wolves never celebrated christmas and she had mo memory of her biological family. This would be her first, real christmas together with her new family.
"If Wolf helps me put up the lights outside, the rest of you can start decorating inside!" Lio suggested and everyone agreed.
Lio grabbed a ladder before taking Wolf and the christmas lights outside. Wolf would stay on the ground and get the lights wrapped around the porch, while also making sure that Lio did a great job as well.
As Wolf moved towards the kitchen window, Kipo pressed her face against the glass from the other side, making faces at her. Wolf giggled and rolled her eyes.
"Hey, no joking around!" Lio scolded playfully.
The two went back to decorating. After about an hour, Lio asked Wolf to turn on the lights on the roof to see the results. She did so and was met with colorful lights that blinked every other second. Green, red, yellow, blue. It was beautiful!
"So, how does it look?" Lio asked, climbing down the ladder to stand beside hus daughter.
"It looks great, dad!" Wolf smiled.
Lio chuckled before wrapping his arm around his daughter's shoulders.
"Let's go inside and see if there's anything else for us to do!" Lio suggested before the two walked inside.
The others had come really far. There were reindeers and gnomes on different spots in the house. All of the beds were decorated with christmas pillows and sheets. The kitchen table was covered in a red tablecloth and Benson was playing christmas music in the background.
They could all feel the christmas spirit in the house, making them all feel happier and jumpier.
"It looks fantastic! Great job, you guys!" Lio praised happily, recieving a kiss on his cheek by Song and a hug from Kipo and Benson.
"Christmas has officially begun!" Kipo cheered.
Nobody disagreed.
