Heyo! I'm Bitter! This is my first time posting a fic so I apologize for the messiness. This is a roleplay written between Gore and me, so the formatting is a bit funky. Gore writes all of Shadow's dialogue, as well as Silver and Mephiles. I write all of Sonic's dialogue, as well as Amy's! A few things to note before delving into this first chapter is that this is a human au, as well as a soulmate au, and all of the characters are aged up. Mephiles, Scourge, and Infinite are very scummy people in this au-- you'll see why later on ;P. Also, soulmarks act almost like tattoos here and will appear like they're glowing in the presence of the person's destined soulmate, but otherwise aren't visible.
