Summary
Seika was already quite busy as it was, between handling finances, filling out next month's booking schedule and setting aside time to have up-and-coming bands try-out for potential gigs.
But having Nijika ask for the day off alongside her bandmates made what would've been a usual night for Starry all the more hectic. It wasn't until she gave up on trying to both adhere to her managerial duties and serve customers behind the bar that she finally felt a little bit of relief from the piling stress.
Even so, she took a bit of self-important pride in being able to let Nijika off to go and have fun with her friends for a day. Plus, she couldn't deny letting Bocchi off the hook as well; she'd developed a soft spot for the reserved girl due to her thoughfulness. It was a good thing PA-san was always around, because without her help, Seika would've been screwed.
As she watched bands play through their songs, the crowd moving in union under the darkness while the stage lights flared, all Seika could think about was returning home to snuggle up under her blanket and forget all about today.
All she could hope for was a uneventful night…
