You’re the Only One Who Understands
Felix was eating on the kitchen counter. One of the few rare times, Jisung finally cooks breakfast for him.
The breakfast was simple. Just some pancakes with chocolate syrup over it. It was originally going to be strawberry syrup, but the two forgot to buy some.
On that same plate, he had two sunny side up eggs. Honestly, it looked delicious.
Jisung: “And… There goes the last piece of bacon.”
The boy says as he carefully places the bacon on the other’s plate.
Felix: “Wanna share? I wouldn’t mind.”
Jisung: “But that’s for you! You barely eat breakfast nowadays. You always skip it.”
Felix: “You’re acting as if you don’t skip breakfast too.”
Jisung places the spatula in the sink and turns off the stove.
Jisung: “Still. It’s for you.”
Felix: “C’mon! I’ll be happier if we share. I don’t even know if I can finish this myself.”
Jisung then sits next to the boy, picks up a fork and eats with the younger. He gently places a kiss on Felix's cheek.

Jisung picks up the dirty items when they both finish eating and places it in the sink.
Jisung: "I just realized you didn't have anything to drink. Want me to get you milk?"
Felix: "Thanks, Ji, but I think I can get it myself." He says giggling.
Jisung: "Alright, alright."
He says smiling as he places the items in the dishwasher.
Felix gets a glass and opens the fridge. He takes a carton of milk and pours it in the glass. He takes a small sip and then closes the fridge.
Felix hums a song he heard somewhere. He can't exactly remember where, he just remembers the tune of the song.
Felix: "Hey, do you know the song I'm humming?"
Jisung: "Nah."
He says leaning on the table they were eating at.
Felix: "Mmm, fine, ok."
There was silence for a while. Though, only for a while.
Jisung: "Hey, Lix." He says in a questioning tone.
Felix: "Yep?" He says as he takes another sip from the glass.
Jisung blushes for a while. He tries to snap out of it, but he just gets even redder.
Jisung: "I've been wanting to ask if you wanna go on a date today?"
Felix: "Oh, sure! I was kind of bored here anyway. What time?"
He says with a pleased smile on his face.
Jisung: "Hmm... I don't know, maybe around 3?"
Felix: "Sure~."

2:45PM
Felix was sleeping in his room and has just woken up. He takes a look at his phone which is on his nightstand. He checks the time and it's now 2:46PM. Only a minute has gone by.
The boy decides to rest on the bed for a while.

2:50PM
4 more minutes have gone by and Felix is still resting. He takes another look at his phone and checks the time. Well, it's time for him to get up.
He takes off the blanket that is on him and wears his house slippers. He continues to open his closet and takes a look at the clothes he has. The boy doesn't even know what to wear.
All he knows is that it's a date and they're going out. Not knowing what to wear, he picks out a white shirt and grey sweats. Paired with some white and black shoes. Topped with a pink plaid jacket with small white buttons.
He also wears a gold ring that Jisung gave to him as a gift. He puts a silver necklace on to make the look look better. Felix looked at the mirror and damn he thought he looked cute. Cute enough to make Jisung look like a tomato.

3:00PM
Jisung went to Felix's room and stood by his doorframe. It's not like this was their first date, but Jisung felt butterflies.
Jisung: "It's 3."
He says trying to cover his blushing his face by brushing his hair behind his ear.
Felix: "Do I look good?" He says smiling.
Jisung: "Of course you do! You always do, love."
Jisung walks up to Felix. Holding him by his waist, he pulls him in for a quick kiss.
Felix: "Soo~. Should we leave now?"
Jisung: "Sure. Come on!"
The slightly older grabs Felix by the wrist and he ran to the car, dragging Felix with him.
Felix: "Where do you wanna go?"
Jisung: "Anywhere you do." He says starting the car.
Felix: "Hmmm... I know a café. They sell a chocolate cheesecake milkshake there."

At the café, Felix pointed at the menu and said the drink he wanted.
Jisung: "Want something else? Like food?"
Felix: "Are you hungry?"
Jisung: "I'm asking you!" He said giggling.
Felix: "You only ask me that whenever you're hungry!"
Jisung: "...You know me too well, Lix." He says grinning.
Felix: "Because I'm always here to listen to you."
He said that while smiling like a total sunshine. Jisung started to feel even more butterflies in his stomach. "Damn, Ji. Get a grip." He said to himself in his head.
Jisung: "Should I order our drinks now?"
Felix: "Sure!"
Jisung: "'Kay. Give me a moment." He said getting up and lining up to order.
Jisung ordered the drinks they wanted. He got an iced americano for himself and the milkshake Felix wanted.
The barista entered the order in the computer and asked "Anything else?"
Jisung looked at the display case and thought for a moment. "One Oreo mug cake and one big chocolate chip brownie, thanks."
"Alright. So..." The barista looks at Jisung then looks at the computer, getting a good look. The barista repeats his order just to make sure she got the order correctly.
Barista: "One chocolate cheesecake milkshake and one iced americano for the drinks."
Jisung: "Yes." He says as he nods his head.
Barista: "One Oreo mug cake and one big chocolate chip brownie. Is this correct?"
Jisung: "Yes."
Barista: "Will that be all?"
Jisung: "Yes and thank you."
The barista checks for the total and says "Your total will be 25,150 Won." Jisung hands the money. The barista gives his change and says a pleasant "Thank you." He says thank you back and gets the change. Jisung walks back over to Felix and sits down.
Felix: "Finally, you're back."
Jisung: "Missed me much?"
Felix: "Yup. Always do."
In truth, Felix was a little clingy. Not in an annoying way, but in a cute way.

They got their order and Felix was ecstatic.
Jisung: "Ok~!"
Felix: "I saw everyone talking about this in TikTok."
Jisung: "Damn, really? No wonder you wanted to go here."
Felix took his first spoonful of the mug cake and almost chokes.
Felix: "Shit." He murmurs to himself.
Jisung laughs and says "What?" Felix gets a glass of water and takes a big sip. "It takes like shit." He whispers.
Jisung: "No shit. Some people on that app lie." He whispers back.
Felix: "Yeah! Well it looks so good!"
Jisung: "Can I taste?"
Felix hands him the chocolate chip mug cake and some water. "Trust me. You'll need it." He says while eyeing the water.
Jisung takes one spoonful and says "Can't taste that bad." It doesn't take long until he realizes the mug cake tastes terrible. He was holding in his cough while looking around to see if anyone was looking at him. The two start laughing.
Felix: "Tastes amazing doesn't it?"
Jisung: "Why the fuck did we buy this?" He whispers.
Felix: "Taste good, right?"
Jisung: "It tastes like literal shit..." He murmurs.
Felix: "You're fine, now drink water."
Jisung does exactly what he said and drinks the water.

It's starting to get dark and the two are starting to get tired. Specifically, Felix.
Jisung: "Lix, wanna head back home? You seem tired."
Felix: "Yeah."
Jisung: "'Kay, come on."
He says bringing Felix by his wrist.
Felix: "Just drag me to the fucking car. I feel like I could fall right now."
Jisung: "Mmm."
There was a street in front of them. It was now a red light meaning they could walk now. Jisung knew that Felix was so tired, he couldn't even have enough time to drag him. So, he picked Felix up and carried him to the car like a baby.
You can hear the slightly older one giggling a little.
Felix: "WHAT THE ACTUAL FU-"
Jisung shushed the other's mouth and says "Shhh! Just calm down."

Luckily, Felix came back home in one piece.
Jisung: "Did you like it?"
Felix: "The date or the fact that so many people saw you carrying me?"
Jisung: "Don't be like that~!"
Felix: "...Fine."
Jisung wraps his arms around Felix and says... "Yeah, I'll do that again."
