Soulmates are weird, and not that well understood. To be soulmates means that you end up together in every possible universe; they are the only thing that remains consistent in existence. The reason this phenomenon is elusive is because less than 20% of the population reportedly have soulmates, and soulmate marks are inconsistent and unpredictable. Some report that it is merely a deep “spiritual level” feeling that bursts through their being when making eye-contact, while others are born with each other’s names as tattoos on their bodies. It is uncertain whether all possible soulmate marks have been documented at all. It is truly ironic.
So, imagine Sky’s surprise when he ends up being one of the rare few to end up with one.
