Summary
Once clean, Chuuya tucked the dirty cloth away and checked his watch. 4:30. Perfect, just enough time to get to the police station—
“I’m surprised, for someone trained by the Children of Arahabaki you were so slow. I figured you would’ve been able to track down this rapid vampire faster. What has it been, five days?”
Chuuya felt his skin crawl at the mention of the COA.
“It was four days you dipshit—” When Chuuya whipped around, he was greeted by a tall man with dark eyes. Chuuya had never met this man before. Was he part of the COA? How did he know he was trained under the COA? He should’ve stuck closer to Port Mafia territory where they wouldn’t risk coming—
A glimpse of fangs was all Chuuya needed to know that his theory was wrong. A dagger was thrown at the vampire’s face before he could even think. His aim was true, but the vampire dodged easily, leaving only a nick on his cheek. The vampire didn’t seem surprised by Chuuya’s reaction, and surprisingly he didn’t move to attack.
