Chapter 1: The Meme
Chapter Text
Cain
So, I was researching the other Tributes, and I found this.
OK, technically this is true, given how I'd given myself up for my brother, and now that I'm in the Fandom Games...
Katniss Everdeen
I happened to see Cain looking annoyed at something on the computer, so I glanced over his shoulder.
Did I say annoyed? I meant pissed.
And I could see why.
"What is that, and who got a hold of Photoshop?" I asked.
"Apparently, we're a meme," he responded.
Chapter 2: The Lioness Hunt
Chapter Text
Hunter
Johanna Mason, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, Nyota Uhura, and Tia Dalma:
Anyone up for the Training Arena?
Donna Noble
So, I was pretty alone. This was nothing like London. I don’t think I’ve been this alone since the wedding.
From across the room, I could see this Tribute, I believe her name was Hunter, beckoning to me, so I decided to go join her.
Couldn’t hurt, right?
Johanna Mason
Joining an Alliance with a Starfleet officer, companions of the Doctor, the best bodyguard in London Below, and a goddess?
Hell yeah, I'm in.
Chapter 3: Cracker?
Chapter Text
Patrick Dowsett
Thankfully, Leena was here. I knew I could trust Leena!
But Leena wasn’t alone. She was talking to two guys.
"May I help you?" I asked.
"Patrick, this is Henry. And this is Ned." She pointed to both of the guys.
"Nice to meet ya." Henry shook my hand.
"Yo," Ned said.
"Well…. Want a cracker?" I asked.
Henry Bolet
I could tell that Patrick was not very bright…. But still, I took one.
I don’t know where he gets those crackers, but they are exquisite.
Ned Nickerson
Henry ate one, and by the look on his face, he enjoyed it. So I followed suit.
"Yum. These are 10 times better than Koko Kringles!"
Patrick Dowsett
"What are those? Are they some kind of cracker?"
Henry Bolet
I definitely had me an alliance. After all, I previously knew Ned. Leena seemed pretty up to game. And Patrick, well… His bark is worse than his bite.
Chapter 4: Doppelgänger.
Chapter Text
Edmund Pevensie
So, thanks to these dreaded Games, we are the only two Pevensie children left.
I could tell Pete was determined, for he had taken the heads of over 5 practice dolls, and was working on his 6th.
I, on the other hand, was taking a glance at the other Tributes. When, out of nowhere, I spotted our doppelgänger of these games. Well, not quite a doppelgänger, but close.
Twin brothers. Brothers just like Pete and I. I had myself an alliance, I could sense it.
Frank Hardy
"Wait, you look like me?" I said, looking at the black haired boy from across the room.
Edmund Pevensie
"And I… Look like you?" This was quite puzzling.
Peter Pevensie
I saw Edmund talking to… Well… Edmund, so I decided to go over to him.
"I’m Frank Hardy…" said the Edmund Look-Alike. "Who are you two?"
"I am Peter Pevensie, and this is my brother, Edmund."
"And this is MY brother… Joe," said Frank.
Joe Hardy
"Well, this is quite odd."
Frank Hardy
"I think we could help each other out here…. I mean, look-alikes think alike?" I said.
"I think that’s a good idea, but if you even try to back stab us." Peter pulled out his sword.
"No matter who you look like, there’ll soon be one."
Edmund Pevensie
I think that they were very reliable, so I was okay with them joining us.
But I will never get over this.
Chapter 5: Missy
Chapter Text
Surprise, bitch. I thought you thought you'd seen the last of me.
Chapter 6: In the Training Arena
Chapter Text
Pim Diffy
OK, so I saw Missy in the Training Arena and went up to her.
"Hey, so how about an Alliance?" I asked.
Missy
"Why should I trust you?" I countered.
"Come on!" Pim said. "I know having friends would be a disaster in the Arena, but Alliances would work, right? And who would expect a kid to be dangerous?"
"I like how you think," I said. "Sure. Why not."
Chapter 7: Joe Hardy
Chapter Text
Cheeseburger.
Chapter 8: Making... Friends?
Chapter Text
Irving Braxiatel
I saw an extremely grumpy looking dude in the corner, so I decided to go talk to him.
"Victor, is it? Does your name describe you this round? The Victor?" I laughed.
He didn’t.
"Would you, by any chance, like to team up?"
Victor Getz
"Might as well," I said. "I guess it’d look less strange than if I teamed up with Scipio. Apparently the Capitol reversed the effects of the magic carousel, and he’s a teenager again."
Irving Braxiatel
"Yeah, I’m not the most normal of people. But it’s best to hang with me and not a teenager. That’s just odd."
Victor Getz
"This whole thing is odd, though, isn't it?"
Irving Braxiatel
"There’s not a normal thing here," I noted.
I don’t know what this talk was about magic carousels, but I’d need to learn soon. Good thing the Capitol has computers.
Chapter 9: The Girl on Fire
Chapter Text
Peeta Mellark
I was practicing camouflaging myself, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a sight that shocked me. It was Katniss. She was here? I went up to her.
"Hey, Girl on Fire!" I told her.
Katniss Everdeen
"Hey, Peeta," I said. "You got reaped, too? Isn't twice for us enough? And after we led a revolution against this sort of thing?"
Peeta Mellark
"It certainly seems that way. I guess the most sensible thing to do here is to team up… Again, right?"
Katniss Everdeen
"Might as well. I'd ask Johanna to join us, but apparently she's found some new friends."
Peeta Mellark
"Well, If all of her sudden friends were to die… She’d know where to find us. But as of right now, when she’s not allied with us… She’s a threat."
Katniss Everdeen
"I mean, I like her, but... I don't know what's scarier: Her on our side, or her against us."
Peeta Mellark
"I like her too… She’s extremely bad-ass. But you are too. And the same question applies with you on my side."
Katniss Everdeen
"Thanks? I guess?"
Peeta Mellark
"Consider that a compliment."
Katniss Everdeen
"So, anyway, we're here, Johanna's here... Now what?"
Peeta Mellark
"Looks like we keep an eye on her. Caesar’s here too, I mean, my interview was quite a success. But, with Johanna here… We better watch our backs. Although, I’m sure she wouldn’t harm us unless she has to, right?"
Katniss Everdeen
"I'd hope she wouldn't hurt us, but... New Capitol, new rules."
Peeta Mellark
"Right. Also: new Alliance, new rules."
Katniss Everdeen
That was a troubling statement.
"So are we playing up the whole fake relationship again? Or are you planning something else?"
Peeta Mellark
"Well, the only person here who would suspect something different if we did do a pretend relationship is Johanna. But, I mean, we’re stronger together than separate, if you know what I mean."
Katniss Everdeen
"Well, OK then..."
Still not sure if I liked where that was going. Peeta is great, really, but I didn't have time to have to worry about surviving again and the whole relationship thing.
Peeta Mellark
"But, then again, we have a lot on our plate here, so let’s not worry about this lovey dovey stuff, and as for a plan, well I really don’t have a plan, either. But we’ll manage."
Katniss Everdeen
"But, then again, if the Game Makers decide to pull the same crap with the two Victors from one Fandom again..."
Peeta Mellark
"Right. So it’s an… On the spot situation, and a 'it’s complicated' kind of thing."
Katniss Everdeen
"Yeah, sure..."
Peeta Mellark
Great. The first time we meet each other in the Arena again, and she’s already feeling uncomfortable.
Chapter 10: A Familiar Face
Chapter Text
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
I was in the Training Arena earlier when I was caught by surprise.
I'd been using a knife on one of the dummies when someone caught my hand.
"Magnus?" I asked. "What are you doing here? I thought that after your round..."
Magnus Kiljansson
"After my round, the Capitol wanted me to come back as a Mentor."
"Oh," Elísabet said. "I mean, it's not that I'm not glad to see you, but..."
"I know. The whole thing is rough."
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
"I don't know what to tell you except for just... watch out for who you trust. And... Please don't die on me," Magnus said.
He came in closer and gave me a hug, slipping something into my pants pocket.
"You know that Tributes are allowed to be given a token before the Games?" he whispered. "That's for you. Don't tell anyone I said this, but this one... might not be quite so legal in the Games. I got word of what the Arena is going to be like, so I got this one special for you."
He released me, and then left the Arena, giving me one last, sad look on the way out.
I pulled the token out of his pocket. It was the key to Magnus' cabin...
Chapter 11: Rose the Mentor
Chapter Text
Rose Tyler
The Capitol called me back to be a Mentor for the next Fandom Games.
I'd seen Martha Jones and Donna Noble listed as Tributes, so I'd invited them out for chips to discuss a game plan for them.
On the way over, I'd run into the Doctor. He seemed... older.
"Rose? What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Apparently I'm a Mentor," I replied. "I... I'd love to help you, you know... but.. I dunno... You're not you anymore, not like I remember you. And anyway, your various regenerations have been reaped enough, so you've got a hang of it, right?"
"Yeah, sure," he said, kinda disappointed.
"Hey, but maybe I'll coach you later anyway?" I continued. "Right now, I'm meeting some of my other Tributes."
Donna Noble
"Rose, what got you the win when you were here?"
Rose Tyler
"You two got one of those Alliance things, right?"
Martha and Donna both nodded.
"I guess one big part of it is trusting the right people."
Donna Noble
"We are both in an Alliance, yes. With a goddess. And a keeper. And a bad-ass."
Martha Jones
"No, but for the time being, it seems like a good Alliance. But, Donna, I thought she was Hunter, not Keeper..."
Donna Noble
"Ah…. Well, Hunter the bodyguard. Keeper. Bodyguard. Argh."
I took an anxious bite of a chip. "Anyway, wonder why neither of us are paired with the Doctor? After all, weren’t you, Rose?"
Rose Tyler
"No, but seriously. What's with that?"
Donna Noble
"Well, this Alliance kind of came first. And I guess the Doctor would prefer one companion… Not two, right Martha? But seriously, who is he even with?"
Martha Jones
"Well, I looked through some old files at UNIT a while back, and he's had multiple companions at one time before," I said. "And I think in the Training Arena, I saw him with that one American kid, Phil something-or-other, and that one grumpy Detective, Munch. That last one seems to suit this new Doctor pretty well."
Donna Noble
"Hmm… Well personally, I think it’s best we aren’t with him. I mean, I for one wouldn’t want to lose him again."
Rose Tyler
"No, you're right," I said, quickly changing the subject. "Anyway, I don't really know how else I won. Other than constantly keeping on my feet to try to win."
"That was a cool move at the end with starting the dinosaur battle," Martha said.
Donna Noble
"Oh, yeah. Hopefully we won’t have to deal with those, right?"
Rose Tyler
"I doubt it. I mean, they change the Arena every Round. I just happened to get 'lucky' to get dinosaurs."
Donna Noble
"Looks like it’ll be more the unsuspecting tributes to worry about than dinosaurs this round. Great.."
Rose Tyler
"Oh, right!" I jumped in my seat a bit. "I just remembered. Speaking of Tributes, you guys should research the others, so you can try and figure out their weaknesses and whatnot."
Donna Noble
"That’s Martha’s specialty. But I do have one question. Who is Missy? The
Doctor and her seem to have some history. Looks like the only person who would know besides the Doctor died last round, Clara."
Martha Jones
"Missy...? Wait... Wait...? Does this mean that the Master is a girl now?"
Donna Noble
"Wow, What have we missed?"
Martha Jones
"He... or she?... is apparently the Doctor's enemy. If you ask the Doctor. If you ask Missy, she'd probably say frenemies or something."
Donna Noble
"And to make it worse, he… Or she… Is paired with a little girl, who just so happens to be the sister of Phil… The boy that The Doctor is allied with."
Rose Tyler
"Oh, lovely," I said.
Getting up to leave, I finished, "Well, I guess I'd better let you two get back to training? Good luck."
Chapter 12: Pavel Chekhov's Fandom Games Advice for Lt. Nyota Uhura
Chapter Text
Pavel Chekhov
Be careful about trusting anyone in zhe Arena. I'd say trust someone from zhe Enterprise, but I'm not counting Khan.
Be careful in zhe Cornucopia. Eet is dangerous.
Um… I guess… Don’t die? I don’t know what else to tell you.
Chapter 13: Joe and the Cheeseburger?
Chapter Text
Peter Pevensie
So, Edmund and I were hanging with Frank, when we saw Joe come back from his interview.
He was carrying a bag full of cheeseburgers.
Joe Hardy
"Hey, you can’t say anything, Pete. I mean, those hamburgers were just… There."
Frank Hardy
"He loves cheeseburgers very much. It’s kind of weird, actually, how much he loves them."
Edmund Pevensie
Still, he didn’t hog them all to himself. He gave us all our pick of cheeseburgers.
Still, I had to wonder, though, how this was allowed.
Peter Pevensie
Joe’s obsession was insane! He ate that whole cheeseburger without even chewing it. And it had 2 patties.
"Well, looks like Joe can eat anything. That’s a plus, I guess?"
Chapter 14: A Little Bit of Girl Power
Chapter Text
Zoe Wolfe
So I strolled up to Jessalyn, and basically asked her if she wanted to be in an Alliance with me. I decided to cut right to it, and I guess she liked that. I had a feeling she would.
Jessalyn Thornton
"One thing though," I responded to Zoe. "I was already in an Alliance-thing with Wade, he’s family. Is that alright? Maybe he can join?" I was afraid that’d be a deal-breaker, but she smiled and replied...
Zoe Wolfe
"Sure, but only if you don’t mind if I bring Alec into the mix too; he's kinda like my partner in crime."
Once we settled -- we were both satisfied to have another friend and Ally -- we decided we wanted to get that Ellie chick into the mix.
Ellie York
So Jessalyn and Zoe came up to me, and honestly when they offered me a place in an alliance I was thrilled. They seem like my “type” of people. There are also two guys they’re close with (respectively) who are in with us, but that’s fine with me, great even!
Chapter 15: Soo what's the deal?
Chapter Text
Casey Novak
"Alright Olivia, are you going to be insulted if Alex and I have an alliance with Abbie and Serena? We want one with you and El and Munch, too, but we have to figure out the logistics."
Detective Olivia Benson
"In some situations, I’d be insulted, but not this one… Not here. We can still have Alliances with each other -- help, not hurt -- but that doesn’t mean we always have to be together, right?” Casey nodded her head in agreement. "Okay, so that’s a start. Me and Elliot are gonna do our thing, with Munch if he wants, but I wouldn’t put it past him to hide someplace for a while, and you lawyers can do what you guys do best."
Chapter 16: An Alliance or Something
Chapter Text
The Twelfth Doctor
Apparently Detective Munch and I became Allies at the Training Arena.
And somehow Phil Diffy ended up joining in?
Detective John Munch
Yeah, I’m not really sure how it happened either, but I guess that’s that.
Chapter 17: Gorilla?
Chapter Text
Henry Bolet
So, Patrick is insisting that he’s a gorilla when it comes to water.
Ned and I didn’t believe him, although Leena seemed to think so.
So, next thing I knew he was in his bathing suit.
Ned Nickerson
"Patrick. There’s no water here; this is a Training Arena."
Patrick Dowsett
"I know, right?"
Henry Bolet
I was very confused.
"Um… What?"
Patrick Dowsett
"There’s gotta be a swimming pool… Or something here. I mean, this is a hotel, right?"

Chapter 70: Thank you for tuning in for all the interviews!
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
And stay tuned for the start of the Games!
Chapter 71: Bloodbath at the Cornucopia: Round Five
Chapter Text
Located in the center of the Arena, the Cornucopia is in a round field, with a diameter of about a football field.
Surrounding the Cornucopia, just on the other side of a thick ring of trees, is a small country modeled after cases solved by the detective Nancy Drew.
Ladies and Gentlemen... Let the Fandom Games begin!
A gong sounds, and the fifty Tributes run off round, metal platforms. They head for the Cornucopia, where they fight for the supplies they think that they'd need to survive in the Games, in what is expected to be the bloodiest part of the Games.
Pim Diffy
Y'know what?
I thought Missy would be smart enough to know better than to turn her back on anyone in the Arena, even an Ally, especially in the Cornucopia.
But apparently she wasn't.
So when we were grabbing our supplies, I stabbed her in the back. In both hearts.
There was a cannon.
The Twelfth Doctor
I honestly didn't expect Missy to die that quickly, based on prior experience. I guess she's one less Tribute to deal with now.
So then Phil and Munch got our supplies and left.
Scipio Massimo
I was in the Cornucopia when I saw a little blond head bobbing along.
"Bo? What are you doing here?"
"Hi, Scip! I'm a Tribute, too!"
Oh, jeez, really? "Come on," I said. "Let's get our supplies and get you out of here."
Then we headed southwest.
Gray Cortright
I was in the Cornucopia and getting supplies and all that.
I tried to avoid the other Tributes when... Was that Niko?
He started heading north, so I followed him.
Elisabet Grimursdottir
I didn't know what I'd need at the Cornucopia, so I just grabbed a gun, some ammo, and a bag of what I hoped was food.
I had Magnus's cabin key as my token, so I headed out to find it. Because of the Northern Lights, I assumed it would be somewhere in the northern part of the Arena.
Cain
I got supplies from the Cornucopia, and blah blah blah.
And then I left and headed northeast.
Lady Door
So, in the Cornucopia, I teamed up with Eowyn, Merry, and Pippin. I would've asked Hunter to join in, but she had other Allies.
Anyway, we got our supplies and left.
Pippin Took
On the way out, I saw this funny-looking bone thing. Nobody was paying attention, so I grabbed it. I kinda feel like it's important.
Peter Pevensie
Edmund and I ducked into the Cornucopia, grabbed our supplies, and left. Frank and Joe were behind us.
Edmund threw a dagger at Ned Nickerson. I didn’t stay to see what happened after that.
Leena Patel
I skirted the edges of the Cornucopia, looking for any supplies and trying not to get killed. I found a bag and slung it over my shoulder, hoping it had food or water. I also grabbed a coil of rope and a large knife before running away, looking for Patrick.
Patrick Dowsett
I grabbed as much food as I could.
Need food, right?
Ned was almost killed; it was scary!
Leena found me, and we exited towards the trees.
Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard
In the Cornucopia, I teamed up with Gwydion. He reminded me of someone I once knew, a long time ago.
Ned Nickerson
As I was running to the Cornucopia, a knife flew into my arm.
It came from Edmund Pevensie.
I was alive, but in pain. I’d live.
I grabbed my supplies and followed Patrick and Leena.
Henry Bolet
What much do you expect?
I grabbed supplies, and left with my Alliance.
Joe Hardy
I was a little depressed; this Cornucopia had no cheeseburgers.
But still, Frank and I grabbed as much as we could and left behind the Pevensies.
Detective John Munch
Wow, alright, that was something. I don’t know much about this Phil kid, but the Doctor and I just kinda bonded. Grumpy older men, what do you expect?
Zoe Wolfe
So we ran into the Cornucopia, managing to avoid the mess of flying daggers and yells and people… ugh. It seemed like everyone grabbed some supplies of their own, which would be helpful. I started walking south-east, Jessalyn, Ellie, Wade, and Alec in tow.
Detective Olivia Benson
This is disgusting; to see everyone fighting like this. I heard a gunshot come from somewhere, but I also heard a cannon, and wow, this isn’t overwhelming at all. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up, ready to throw a punch, but it was only El. He nodded towards the crowd of people and supplies.
"Well, let’s do this."
We weaved our way through the crowds, grabbing a variety of weapons and supplies. I swear a caught a glimpse of Munch?
ADA Serena Southerlyn
I didn’t think, I just acted.
We (our little lawyer squad) were all going to try to meet outside the Cornucopia once we grabbed our stuff. But then I saw Abbie, and I saw a bullet. And it was going towards her. I love everyone in our Alliance, but Abbie is like a sister to me, more than anyone else. It was going to hit her, and it was going to be bad. So I jumped in front of it… I knew I was likely sacrificing my life.
ADA Abbie Carmichael
SERENA SOUTHERLYN, I AM SO FUCKING MAD AT YOU. Except, now… now you’re dead. Now you’re gone.
I was gathering supplies, I had my back turned for a minute, and she took a bullet for me. I’m honored, but DAMNIT SERENA, WHY COULDN’T YOU HAVE LET ME DO IT?
Alex and Casey, who had gathered enough supplies (and then some) made their way over to us. The Arena was emptying out. Luckily nobody paid us any attention. We said our goodbyes to Serena, and considered staying longer, but she was gone, and before she passed, she told us to get out (we didn’t leave her until she had died, we couldn’t).
Katniss Everdeen
Peeta and I have been over this before. We got in, grabbed food and weapons, and got out as quickly as we could.
Hunter
Donna and Martha were in charge of food.
Tia was... doing her own thing.
Uhura, Johanna, and I got weapons.
It felt good to have my spear and dagger back.
Victor Getz
Brax seemed to have a better idea of what to do in the Cornucopia, so I left him to it.
After he came back out, we left through the trees.
Chuck Shurley
I just went in to grab some food, and I left. I mean, I don't really have a need for any weapons...
Henrik van der Hune
I don't know what was going on. It was complete chaos.
I ran in, grabbed random supplies, and then left.
Khan Noonien Singh
The whole Cornucopia thing was ridiculously simple. I was in and out within a matter of minutes.
Dr. Emily Appleton
I don't know how they expect anyone to survive this bit, but most of us did. There were only two cannons.
I got food and a gun, and I seem to be safe so far...
Chapter 72: A Lighthouse?
Chapter Text
Ned Nickerson
So, after wandering around the woods for a while, we finally reached a beautiful shore. It was lovely.
Patrick Dowsett
I was pretty anxious, there was a lot of water along the lighthouse.
“I think this would be a perfect spot to keep a lookout.” Leena said.
Henry Bolet
We tried to enter in, but it didn’t work.
The door was locked; there was a huge padlock on it.
Leena Patel
Using a bobby pin, I picked the lock. We entered and started cataloging our supplies. Thankfully we had some food and water. I climbed to the top of the lighthouse and began a lookout.
Ned Nickerson
Henry, Patrick, and I went around the lighthouse and checked for any openings.
Henry saw a large, black pole and began to examine it. It really stuck out.
Henry Bolet
I examined it. There was a little notch inside it, with a handle inside. I pulled the handle.
I sent Patrick back up to check on Leena, and Ned and I went to go examine what it opened.
Ned Nickerson
We went outside and went around the side. It opened a little door?
We climbed down the ladder. We saw a little opening in the wall in the room that we were in. This was a threat. If another Tribute found the other side, we were exposed.
Henry Bolet
We went back upstairs, and locked the door shut. No one was getting into this lighthouse without the key.
Chapter 73: Buell's.
Chapter Text
Frank Hardy
The Pevensies and Joe and I were wandering through the woods, when I suddenly remembered a place we could take shelter.
"Let’s go to Buell’s."
Joe Hardy
"Buell’s? Wasn’t that the place that served the amazing taffy and cheeseburgers?"
Peter Pevensie
"It couldn’t hurt. We needed a place to stay."
Edmund Pevensie
So, here we were at Buell’s Gift Shop.
Chapter 74: A Little Family History
Chapter Text
Zoe Wolfe
So we’re walking, and we come across this abandoned, kinda rickety old house-thing. It looks like there could have been a fire there years ago. I wasn’t sure about it, but Jessalyn and Wade both like jumped at the chance??
Wade Thornton
"Um, Charlotte…" I started, "That was her name. My and Jessalyn’s cousin. She was in Round 1. Clearly she um, died… But before that, she disappeared in a fire. This place -- these are the ruins of the fire. It’s kind of a long story…"
Jessalyn Thornton
I sensed where Wade was going, and picked up where he left off, "It’s sorta complicated, but there was this whole thing with a ghost and hauntings, and yeah…" Everyone looked confused, so I just kinda trailed off. "Anyway, we should be okay here for now, is the point."
Alec Fell
I started getting antsy here, even though it hadn’t been that long. I volunteered to explore the area a little bit, but it ended up that there wasn’t too much, but there are some convenient hiding places and lookout points.
Chapter 75: And We're Off...
Chapter Text
Alex Cabot
So Casey, Abbie, and I collected ourselves, and off we go. We made our way to a little condo/home.
Chapter 76: Northern Lights
Chapter Text
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
I finally made it to Magnus's cabin.
I was sitting there, looking at a recent picture of the two of us on the dock by the Heerlijkheid, when Cain came in.
Cain
The two of us started talking.
At one point, I said I thought the figurehead of the ship in the photo was a bear. But then I realized it was a lion.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
"A bear? What?" I asked.
"Sorry. It's a long story..." Cain told me. "I'd once known a ship that had a lion's head and a bear's head on its figurehead, along with others."
"Oh. OK."
Cain
"Dragons also make great figureheads, too..." I continued.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
I couldn't help it. I grabbed a bedside lamp and hit Cain over the head.
He wouldn't stay knocked out for long, but I needed out.
I repacked my supplies and left.
And I hope he's moved on when I get back.
Chapter 77: Little Venice
Chapter Text
Scipio Massimo
Bo started getting tired and cranky by the time we found a section of the Arena that looked like Venice.
"I wanna go to the Star-Palace!" he started whining.
"I don't see it," I told him as we came upon a pink building I'd recognized as Ca' Nascosta. "But we can stay here."
Chapter 78: Technology of Tomorrow Today
Chapter Text
Gray Cortright
Niko found me in my security booth at the lab. I was kinda upset.
"Do you know how many times I watched the security footage of your death because I couldn't get over it?" I asked.
"I'm sorry..." he started.
"And how are you even here?" I continued yelling. "How the hell did the Capitol get a dead man to be a Tribute?"
"I don't know," he said. "I don't like not knowing. But I'm here now. Isn't that what matters? And since we are both here, shouldn't we be in an Alliance?"
"I thought you'd never ask."
Chapter 79: The First Day of a New Round
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
Well, this is certainly interesting.
Pim Diffy literally stabbed her ally, Missy, in the back. And it happened only three minutes into the Round. Three minutes! And Serena Southerlyn died to save Abbie Carmichael.
And in a potentially disastrous move, Pippin Took got the First Blade from the Cornucopia.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir and Cain had been in Magnus Kiljansson’s cabin, but who knows where they are now?
Scipio Massimo took Boniface to Ca’ Nascosta.
Niko Jovic and Gray Cortright met up at the Technology of Tomorrow Today lab.
Ned Nickerson, Henry Bolet, Leena Patel, and Patrick Dowsett are at the Snake Horse Harbor lighthouse.
Peter and Edmund Pevensie and Frank and Joe Hardy headed for Buell’s.
And what happened to our other Tributes?
This has been a commentary from Caesar Flickerman. May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor.
Chapter 80: After the Cabin
Chapter Text
Elisabet Grimursdottir
After leaving the cabin, I headed west. I found this small apartment.
It's... pink. It's very pink.
But at least it had a small kitchen where I could cook breakfast this morning.
Chapter 81: Moulin Rouge
Chapter Text
Katniss Everdeen
So, after the Cornucopia, Peeta and I found this cool windmill.
Apparently it was some sort of fashion studio? I'm not big on fashion, but it was still a nice place.
"I'll bet Cinna would love this place," I told Peeta.
Peeta Mellark
We entered, and looked around.
There were many scraps of designs that it looked like someone had been working on.
"Hey, look at this."
It was a sketch of a flaming red dress. It looked oddly familiar.
Katniss Everdeen
Inside the main workshop was the dress itself.
"This is gorgeous," I said.
It had these sparkles that didn't look like any I'd seen on fabrics I knew.
Peeta Mellark
"It’s so... Metallic?"
It was the only dress within the workshop. It was odd.
Katniss Everdeen
On the work desk by the dress, I found a windmill-shaped thing.
It matched the one on the round pole in the middle of the room.
A hole in the floor opened up to a hidden tunnel. Peeta and I explored it, and we found a load of stained glass.
Peeta Mellark
"Wow! There must be over millions of dollars of stained glass in here."
From the floor emerged a podium with a glass case on top of it.
Katniss Everdeen
"OK... What's this?"
Peeta Mellark
It was a letter. It was in French. Of course, I couldn’t read it.
"I’m gonna hold on to this." I placed it in my pocket.
In the corner of the box was a little small fly-looking device.
"I think this is a bug. Like always, the Capitol has eyes in every corner."
Katniss Everdeen
"Oh, of course," I said. "When do they ever not? And how much do you wanna bet that dress is bugged, too?"
Chapter 82: Waiting for the End
Chapter Text
Magnus Kiljansson
The Games only started yesterday, but I want it to be over already.
I want Elísabet to come home safely.
Even Tumi knows something's wrong. He keeps running up to the TV and barking whenever Elísabet is on, and he whines and cries like crazy when she's not.
Chapter 83: Dry Creek Ghost Town
Chapter Text
Donna Noble
So, after wandering a while, Hunter saw a pathway and insisted we see where it led.
The climate turned extremely hot very quickly, we seemed to be in some kind of town. It was a ghost town.
Tia suggested we explore it further.
Johanna Mason
"I guess that old jail might help if we get any other Tributes visiting us. We could lock them in a cell and knock the whole thing down, since these buildings are so old," I suggested.
Martha Jones
"And that Cappy’s place seems pretty shaky, too. We could do the same thing there, over by the bar."
Donna Noble
In Cappy’s, there was a slot machine.
Cool! But it seems to take a certain type of coin.
There was also a sleeping bag on the floor.
"Who would be sleeping here, in this Arena?"
But still, we could use this.
Tia Dalma
"There hasn’t been anyone here," Hunter said. "This just looks like some sort of prop."
"Don’t be so sure," I told her. "It seems there are more Tributes than the Game Makers planned locations for."
Donna Noble
There was a cabinet in the corner. I inspected it.
Suddenly, something came crawling towards my arm. I screamed and pulled back.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WAS THAT THING?" I asked.
"A scorpion," Johanna said. "Looks like there’s going to be many of them here."
Lt. Nyota Uhura
Before Donna had a chance to smash the creature, Tia picked it up.
And she somehow tamed it. It's now her pet.
"Hey," I said. "Maybe now it's trained, it can be used against the other Tributes and not us."
"Exactly," she said.
Tia Dalma
My scorpion's name is Jack.
Chapter 84: The Castle
Chapter Text
Phil Diffy
The Doctor, Detective Munch, and I ended up at this old castle. At some point, like half of it had been blown up or something.
John Munch
This castle is pretty cool, in a weird, old, sorta falling apart way. Definitely treacherous terrain, but that makes it less likely for anyone else to come here, right?
The Twelfth Doctor
I couldn't help but wonder what that obnoxious screeching noise was.
John Munch
"Maybe it’s a banshee," I joked.
Chapter 85: School Is Back in Session
Chapter Text
Victor Getz
Brax and I ended up at the Paseo Del Mar High School.
Irving Braxiatel
"Let’s go to the library. Maybe they’ll be some books we can use to research on possibly the other tributes and the Arena."
Victor Getz
"I don't know if there's anything on the Tributes now, since we're already here. Doesn't the Capitol usually like us to do that beforehand? We can still try to research the Arena, though."
Irving Braxiatel
The first thing that stood out was a book, lying on the floor.
It was called The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke?
And in it was a bookmark. I turned to the bookmarked page.
"Scipio… Bo… Victor Getz? Why are you in this book, and why is your name circled?"
Victor Getz
"What are they saying about me?"
Irving Braxiatel
"Hmm. In the beginning, you’re apparently not so great at being a detective. But, in the end, you grow to be one of the best. And also, pigeon decoys are a thing. See for
yourself!"
I handed him the novel.
Victor Getz
"Pigeons, huh?" I muttered.
Meanwhile, in Campo San Polo, a wild giant pigeon appears...

Chapter 87: Taffy.

Peter Pevensie
So, since no one was around, the four of us snagged some of the most wonderful taffy.
"But, Pete, stealing is wrong.” Edmund said.
"It’s not stealing when no ones around," I told him.
I was obsessed with the grape, and Edmund had some strawberry.
"Man, these games aren’t half bad. I mean, we have free taffy."
Chapter 88: The Train
Chapter Text
Merry Brandybuck
Éowyn, Pippin, Door, and I have been at this old train that used to belong to some guy called Jake Hurley.
We saw those two sets of brothers go to that Buell’s shop nearby, and that group of ladies go past us to that ghost town.
Martha Jones
I was sent to scout the area.
I reported back that there were people in that old train... but I wasn't sure if I should tell Hunter that Door was there.
Donna Noble
After Martha came back, Tia suggested that we go to see who we were dealing with.
So, off we went.
Lady Door
We were in the sleeping car when we saw Hunter and her friends heading for the train.
And we were trapped. They were slipping between the train cars and entering from both doors.
Lt. Nyota Uhura
We all drew our weapons and started searching the different smaller rooms in the sleeping car.
Lady Door
"Oh, great, we're trapped!" Merry said.
OK, yes. We were all in one of the sleeping car rooms, and there was only one door into it.
"No, we're not," I responded. "Put your packs on, and then grab onto me."
Eowyn, Merry, and Pippin did. And then I muttered a spell, and we were in the dining car.
Donna Noble
They vanished.
"I know her tricks. They’re probably not far," Hunter said.
So, we moved over a cart into the dining car.
There they were... We pulled our weapons...
Hunter
And unfortunately, so did they.
It was rather concerning that apparently Pippin had both a normal hobbit-sized sword and what appeared to be the First Blade.
Tia Dalma
"Scuttled bones," I said, and my Allies ducked and covered as I threw a smoke bomb.
We slipped out the doors in the confusion, and I grabbed Pippin.
Back in Dry Creek, we put him in one of the jail cells.
Chapter 89: The Dry Creek Jail.
Chapter Text
Donna Noble
After the abduction of Pippin, Uhura and I were instructed by Hunter to keep a watch on him.
But, unfortunately, Uhura was called out by Tia, and I fell asleep.
When I awoke, everything seemed to be the same, except there were bricks everywhere. Pippin had tried to throw bricks at the key ring, which was hanging nearby.
I sighed. "It’s not going to be that easy, Pippin."
Back through the door came Uhura. The two of us kept watch again.
Pippin Took
Oh, well. It didn't hurt to try.
Unfortunately, they took the First Blade from me. And my regular sword. So I couldn't slice my way out.
I was getting frustrated, and the whole thing with the bricks and the key seemed like the only way I could escape. I started again.
And I hit Donna in the head.
"Oi! Watch it, shorty!" she screamed.
Donna Noble
Another one came. This one barely missed Uhura.
"Yikes," she stated.
At this point, Pippin was just randomly throwing bricks.
"Oi! You’ve got a great aim, I’ll give you that."
Pippin Took
Unfortunately, my weapons were still out of reach.
I decided that unless I got rescued or ran out of fallen bricks, I'd keep throwing them at my captors until, hopefully, they released me.
Wait... The bricks fell from the wall... That gave me an idea.
Nyota Uhura
"OK, what is he doing?" I asked as Pippin started trying to climb the cell bars.
Pippin Took
"Oh, shit..." I heard Uhura continue as she apparently figured out what I was doing.
And at that point, I'd started breaking down more of the crumbling wall.
It was enough for me to worm my way out of the cell, grab my weapons, and escape.
The building collapsed. I barely managed to get out in time.
As I started running away, I heard Donna and Uhura start to dig out of the rubble.
Donna Noble
It took a while, but Uhura and I finally managed to dig our way out the collapsed building.
"Damn…" I said as I saw Pippin running away.
Hunter, Tia, Martha, and Johanna finally regrouped with us.
"We’ve got a lot of explaining to do," said Uhura.
Johanna Mason
After they finished their explanation, I said, "OK, but why the fuck didn't one of you run after him and the other stay to explain?"
Donna Noble
"I mean, he has the First Blade, so were we really gonna risk it?"
Tia Dalma
"Yes, you were supposed to risk it! It's a valuable weapon against Cain!"
Hunter
"I'll go after him," I said. "I'll be better able to handle his friends, especially since I knew Door. And the next time either of you mess up, I'll be hunting you."
Chapter 90: Giant Pigeons?
Chapter Text
Scipio Massimo
Bo and I were wandering around the Venice part of the Arena earlier.
There was a giant pigeon in Campo San Polo.
I don’t know what that was about, but Bo sure was entertained.
Boniface
I shall call him Pidgie. He is my Pidgie, and I will love him forever.
Chapter 91: Lots of excitement today!
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
The Pevensies enjoyed a bit of Buell's Famous Taffy.
There was a lot of excitement with two of our Alliances on Jake Hurley's train and in Dry Creek, in which Pippin managed to get captured, lose the First Blade, escape, reclaim the First Blade, and destroy a building.
And Bo and Scipio have discovered a giant pigeon in Dry Creek.
What will happen tomorrow?

Chapter 92: Ecotourism
Chapter Text
Dr. Emily Appleton
I ran into Elísabet at the ecotourism resort on the southern edge of the Arena. She said she'd been bouncing around the Arena, trying to avoid Cain.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
In the main visitor’s center, I found some scuba gear in a cabinet.
We drove out to one of the beaches in one of the golf carts and tried it out.
We’d soon swam to what seemed to be a set of sea caves. In one, we’d found a ladder ending on a ledge.
We got out of the water to check it out. The ladder led to a locked door.
Emily Appleton
We swam back to the resort. We didn't have any way to open that door to see where it led, but it was still good to know it was there in an emergency.
Chapter 93: Well, OK then...
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
Elísabet and Emily went to the ecotourism resort and apparently swam to a back entrance to the lighthouse.
But what's going on with everyone else?

Chapter 94: The Lighthouse Machine?
Chapter Text
Patrick Dowsett
So, up in the top, Leena and I sat keeping guard.
I saw a machine, with a bunch of morse code buttons.
I pressed the buttons.
"PATRICK, DON’T DO THAT! That controls the lights!"
Ned Nickerson
We heard Leena screaming, so we went upstairs to see what was the matter.
"Patrick almost exposed us!" Leena said.
"It’s good to know that machine is here, it could be our SOS, should we need it."
Henry Bolet
I laughed, nervously.
"Patrick, why don’t we switch. You keep watch with me, and Ned can stay up here with Leena."
"I mean, Leena’s my girlfriend. But whatever." Patrick said.
Leena Patel
I was sad to see Patrick go, but I knew he would be helpful guarding the downstairs. Ned took Patrick’s seat.
"Don’t touch the buttons," I warned, and he nodded seriously. He knew not to get on my bad side.
Chapter 95: Far Beyond These Castle Walls
Chapter Text
Phil Diffy
There was this one section of the castle grounds that was fenced in. We wanted to explore it, but the fence was too tall to climb.
I noticed some of the bricks had symbols on them, and I started pushing them.
Eventually, I figured out the pattern to open a sort of gate. (Some of the fence sections just sunk into the ground.)
While exploring the fenced area, there was a baa-ing noise.
A few sheep trotted by.
John Munch
"So, how about them sheep?"
No one was amused, I wasn’t even amused.
"Okay but haven’t you guys heard the Greek myth? With Odysseus and his men and the cyclops? Where they hide underneath the sheep to escape the cyclops? They could come in handy."
The Twelfth Doctor
"I know the legend better than you know," I said. "And it could work."
And I began to tell them how the other night, I'd found a way to access a hole in the fairy ring, having had found a way to open it when I'd explored a passage from this old hut to an underground lab.
John Munch
"An underground lab, huh? Sounds pretty conspiracy-like if you ask me."
The Twelfth Doctor
"Mad scientist, more like, from what I could tell," I said.
And we made a plan.
Munch waited at the fairy ring while Phil lured the sheep over there, and I went to the bog hut to access the underground passage.
It took a while, but I finally got to the lab and opened the fairy ring.
Chapter 96: Biting the Bullet
Chapter Text
Pim Diffy
So, Chuck Shurley was at the Wyvern's Gate train station.
I shot him. Did I mention I also got a gun with the knife I used to stab Missy?
I mean, how else is a girl gonna survive a death match?
Chuck Shurley
Oh, and she threw me and my supplies into the trash compactor and left.
Who knew she was so strong?
Anyway, I managed to get myself out of the trash compactor before I was crushed.
And I took a pocket knife from my bag and dug the bullet out of my side.
I mean, I'll survive. She can't kill me that easily.
Chapter 97: Finding a Place
Chapter Text
Olivia Benson
So, Elliot and I kinda did one of the things we do best as detectives… slink around and be well, undetected. We could have gotten ourselves killed, so when we found ourselves at this cool Greek museum and did a thorough check of it; we decided to settle there for the time being.

Chapter 100: A Nightmare
Chapter Text
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
The past few mornings, I've been really sick. Part of me doesn't want to trust Emily, thinking that she'd given me food poisoning.
But why only in the mornings?
And today, I realized...
I haven't had my monthly since I saw Magnus in his time in the Arena over the summer... I started missing it in September...
Chapter 101: Over the Edge
Chapter Text
Phil Diffy
So, I was in charge of the sheep while the Doctor kept the fairy ring open, and Detective Munch went off and... something.
At one point while marching the sheep around, I saw these odd rune stones.
Anyway, when I got back to the fairy ring, Pim was there.
Pim Diffy
So, I was arguing with Detective Munch.
And then he started telling Phil to throw me over the side of the nearby cliff.
I mean, what?
Phil Diffy
"OK, yeah, she's a bitch," I told him. "She's also my sister. Even if this is a death match, I'm not gonna be the one to kill her."
"OK then," Detective Munch said. "I will."
And he did.
There was a cannon.
Chapter 102: Sangre Beach
Chapter Text
Lady Door
Éowyn, the hobbits, and I were at this pretty pink beach.
We'd seen Elísabet and Emily earlier in the day.
We started to get worried when Hunter showed up. She tried to take Pippin again, so I ended up stabbing her.
And a cannon went off.
Cain
I'd been following Hunter.
She was one less person to kill now.
But there were others.
Éowyn
Merry tried to kill Cain after Cain killed Door, but barely did anything with his little sword.
Pippin didn't have the First Blade on him, so I grabbed it and killed Cain.
I didn't realize I'd been stabbed, too, until it was too late.
Pippin Took
Even as upset about Merry as I was, I still knew I had to get out of there.
Chapter 103: OK, wow!
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
There were so many deaths today! Pim Diffy, and then everyone on Sangre Beach?
And in a plot twist, Elisabet might actually be pregnant?

Chapter 104: Rialto Market
Chapter Text
Scipio Massimo
Bo and I were at the Rialto Market earlier when we saw Brax and Victor.
I started shuffling Bo back to Ca' Nascosta, pulling a little fob out of my bag.
Brax and Victor started chasing us. As Bo and I started running faster, I pressed the button on the fob.
Clucking noises started filling the canals.
And then bombs started going off, spraying water everywhere.
Once Bo and I got back to the Ca', we thought we heard a single cannon, but we couldn't be sure. Our ears were ringing.

Chapter 106: Greece?
Chapter Text
Irving Braxiatel
After Victor’s death, I was pretty shaken up. I mean, he basically exploded.
I needed a place to stay. I walked around for a while, and finally found a museum, which looked vacant. I went inside.
I didn’t see much, but then I realized that someone was there.
"FREEZE!" Two cops, carrying guns, emerged from the office.
I put my hands up.
"Got him, Benson," said the guy cop.
"No! My partner just died! I need a place to stay!"
Elliot Stabler
"Alright buddy, what’s your deal? Can we trust you? Spill it."
Olivia handcuffed him and brought him into the office. We didn’t plan on hurting him... as long as he didn’t plan on hurting us...
Irving Braxiatel
"Well, up to you. I was partnered with Victor Getz… But then he exploded. He was a detective too, ya know. I didn’t say you could trust me, but if I wanted to kill you, would I really be handcuffed right now?"

Chapter 108: Bored
Chapter Text
Leena Patel
Leena was getting tired of hanging out in the light house. They hadn’t seen anyone in felt like a really long time. I mean, it was nice to be safe, but not to the point of boredom.
"Anyone have a deck of cards?"
Henry Bolet
"Here!" I found one in our bag.
Patrick, Leena, Ned, and I had a really intense game. I was lucky to have such friendly but competitive companions.
Chapter 109: Hard Gamer
Chapter Text
Peter Pevensie
So, Joe was a hard gamer.
There were two machines in Buell’s that required coins. But Joe just went ahead and payed for it, with magic pocket money.
He was there for a while.

"Joe, you okay?" I asked.
"Must… beat… yeti."

Chapter 111: A Big Bang
Chapter Text
Ducky Mallard
Gwydion and I ended up in the Little Venice area of the Arena, where we ran into Pippin Took.
It was getting dark, so we headed off to find shelter.
Pippin ran off ahead of us. I thought Gwydion would be sensible enough to not run after him; I think in normal circumstances, he would've.
Apparently all of Scipio's "chicken bombs" hadn't all detonated the other day. They were all sitting there essentially in an active minefield.
Pippin ended up tripping one, setting off the rest of the chain. He and Gwydion both were blown sky high.
I don't know how I survived.
I couldn't hear the two cannons over the ringing in my ears.

Casey Novak
We’re all getting a little bored, not that we’re complaining! You hear that game makers, no need to send any trouble our way, we promise!
But the other day we reverted back to to being like friggin children, because we made up funny nicknames for each other. Alex became Elsa bc ice queen status, Abbie became Cowgirl bc Texas, and I became Red-Head (gee, wonder why).
We’re usually serious lawyers, I swear.

Chapter 119: The Christmas Truce
Chapter Text
7 PM on Christmas Day rolled around. The Cornucopia was waiting.
Peeta Mellark
Katniss and I were the first to arrive.
No one was there.
Patrick’s alliance and The Pevensie alliance soon followed them...
Katniss Everdeen
"There's something weird about this happening again," I whispered to Peeta as the two sets of brothers arrived. "I mean, I know this is Christmas, but still."
Patrick Dowsett
The four of us entered the Cornucopia.
We saw Chuck behind us.
No one at the cornucopia dared pulling a weapon.
Chuck Shurley
Nobody was going to fight on Christmas, right? Right?
Henry Bolet
"So… A truce?"
Also, where the hell was everyone? Were more people killed today?
Johanna Mason
"Hey, we're here," I said as my girls and I arrived. "Did we miss anything good?"
Patrick Dowsett
"Is this… All that’s left?"
Suddenly, a huge package came down from the sky.
It had a Capitol parachute on it.
The Twelfth Doctor
"Careful," Detective Munch told me as I went to open it. "It could be a bomb or something."
Luckily, it wasn't.
It did seem to be Christmas dinner, though.
"How much you wanna bet it's all poisoned?" the detective continued.
"Really?" I asked. "I had no idea."
Peeta Mellark
I dove for the bread rolls.
Katniss Everdeen
"Peeta! No" I shouted, jumping after him.
"It's OK, Katniss!"
And then he whispered something to me. A realization dawned on me. The rolls weren't poisoned, at least. They were grenades in disguise.
I started grabbing rolls, too.
Peeta Mellark
"OK, looks like we’ll be blowing things up again."
Our hands were full of bread grenades, so we got the heck out of there.
It wasn’t long until we saw Brax’s group enter the Cornucopia.
Scipio Massimo
Bo and I got there late, because Bo was throwing a fit because he didn't get any presents.
"Hey, look!" he yelled, running over to the Capitol's silver canister. "Food!"
I chased after him. "Bo! Wait!"
Irving Braxiatel
"NO! NO!" Olivia screamed, that little kid was about to eat a grenade.
"NO, BO!" Scipio screamed.
"STOP!" Stabler ran at Bo, trying to stop him.
It was too late. Bo ate the bread roll.
He burped, and then died. It was awful.
We heard a cannon.
Ducky Mallard
Scipio was the closest, since he'd ran after Bo from the get-go.
There was a second cannon as he'd been caught in the blast.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
Emily and I were late to the Cornucopia.
We got there after two cannons went off.
Everything was a depressing mess.
Olivia Benson
Ducky and I kinda knew of each other through other people, so when I low-key went up to him and whispered, "We’re going to try something really risky, but if it works then it’s a major accomplishment. Get out of here while you still can, trust me.” He nodded, with a look that showed he knew the gravity of the situation, and left quickly.
As for Emily and Elísabet, who has just arrived, Elliot whispered for them to stay back, it was for everyone’s best interest.
Though this whole tragedy with the two boys, Chuck Shurely didn’t even blink an eye; I think he might have laughed to himself at one point, but who knows.
Either way, we knew it was time for him to go. Suddenly Elliot and Brax ran at him, and grabbed him, and I shot him once, twice, three times, square in the chest. A third cannon went off; a major threat neutralized. Everyone seemed relieved.
Elliot Stabler
Then we ran -- we sprinted actually -- out of the Cornucopia and away.
Edmund Pevensie
I just stood there.
Tia Dalma
"OK, what just happened?" I asked. "They just killed God..."
Leaving my Alliance behind, I ran after the detectives and the Time Lord.
Patrick Dowsett
The crowd disbanded.
Except me.
I stood there.
Me and my bread.
Chapter 120: An Update on Patrick
Chapter Text

Chapter 123: I'm tired of biding my time.
Chapter Text
Tia Dalma
I eventually found Brax, Stabler, and Benson.
They seemed to be asleep, but I didn't completely trust them.
I got Jack the scorpion out of my pocket and nudged him awake, whispering to him to go sting the Time Lord and the detectives.
Elliot Stabler
Being detectives and working through the night on cases, often being woken up after a 10 minute nap, I heard Tia Dalma and her scorpion. She was too busy whispering to him, and leaning over Brax to notice me. So I jumped up, gun drawn, and shot her in the stomach. Olivia must have been awake too, because she jumped up too and shot her in the back. Overkill? Maybe a little, but it was us or her. We heard canons, shook Brax, and went back on the run.
Tia Dalma
I may be dying, but I knew it was a risk.
I saw the scorpion sting Brax just before he was woken, unnoticed by the detectives. He didn't mention it to them.
I laughed to myself as Jack followed the trio.
The Twelfth Doctor
I was looking out of the window of the Castle Malloy library when my brother and those detectives ran by.
Brax collapsed, and a cannon went off.
Chapter 124: Shit.
Chapter Text
Olivia Benson
We established a new (temporary) residency… We sat down and caught our breath and realized that Brax wasn’t with us. Our eyes went wide, and a pang of guilt ripped through me; he was bitten. We thought he would make it here and we would get the poison out, but I guess that didn’t work. Shit.
However, that little scorpion did come with us. I think we can adopt the little guy, Jack was what she called him, right?
Chapter 125: Two Cannons
Chapter Text
Katniss Everdeen
"OK, two more cannons?" Peeta asked. "Who were they this time?"
"I dunno," I replied. "I guess we'll see when they do the announcement video. But I'm glad it's not us."
Peeta Mellark
"I bet it’s the aftermath from that Christmas truce, after all…. That was rough."
Katniss Everdeen
"But they already had the death announcement from that... Oh, wait? You're right. Maybe there were other fights going on afterwards, with whatever happened at the truce after we left."
Peeta Mellark
"OK, so we should definitely keep these grenades. After all, when haven’t we seen explosions in this game?"
Katniss Everdeen
"No, but seriously..."

We all ducked down out of sight, and Henry ensured the doors were bolted.
Locked solid.

Chapter 128: At the Lighthouse
Chapter Text
Khan Noonien Singh
It was time to move.
I knew that the door was locked, but I still managed to break it easily, wrenching the door open.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
Emily and I had gone to see the lighthouse, even though we thought other Tributes there. We saw Khan breaking in.
We knew that would be trouble.
We followed him in and tried to stop him. It happened so quickly. Khan shot Emily with a phaser.
A cannon went off.
Patrick Dowsett
As Khan was distracted killing Emily, Leena and I snuck up behind him.
We shot him in the back of the head. Elísabet shot him, too.
We heard a canon, and I couldn’t pass up this chance: "I khan’t even." I said.
Henry Bolet
"Ma'am, are you hurt? Do you need help?" I started.
Leena Patel
"Now is not the time for puns," I said, trying to hide my smile.
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
"I'm... It's not me I'm worried about," I responded.
Leena Patel
"Look, come in here with us, if you want. We have some food and water."
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
"I might as well."
Ned Nickerson
The poor girl came in and introduced herself as Elísabet.
She found one of our sleeping bags and laid on it, placing a hand on her belly. Leena came back with some water, and Elísabet took it accordingly.
Leena Patel
I sat beside Elisabet, who looked almost pained. "Are you pregnant?" I asked. The three guys were almost speechless.
"I have a sense about these things."
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
"I think so," I said. "I mean, I haven't had my monthly since August, I think, while Magnus was in the Arena. And then in September, a couple weeks after he got back... I just wish they hadn't reaped me, too..."
Patrick Dowsett
"Omigosh, you poor thing…." I started.
"I think we should all take turns keeping watch down here, to ensure she makes it out of here safely," Henry suggested.
Leena volunteered to go first, and we all got some much needed sleep.

"You know what would be better?" I asked. "If you were in charge."
Donna Noble
"But -- haven’t Uhura and I already ruined things?"
Martha Jones
"Hey, the Doctor must've liked you for some reason, right?"
Donna Noble
"Er -- alright. I suggest we lie low for now; after all, this IS a ghost town."

Chapter 131: Technology of Tomorrow Today
Chapter Text
Joe Hardy
So, I heard a sound in the middle of the night. Everyone was asleep.
I went outside, and I saw someone go by. I wasn’t sure who it was, but I followed them. It was Alec Fell and Zoe Wolfe. They stopped right outside that science lab.
Alec Fell
Back in our big Alliance, we had decided that we should split up temporarily just to see what was going on. Zoe and I headed towards the big science lab building. Zoe had a feeling we were being followed, so we stopped and called out.
Joe Hardy showed himself, and we established good terms. He seems like a good guy.
Zoe Wolfe
Niko Jovic and Gray Cortright had been here, and truthfully we really weren’t looking for a fight. We carefully made our way into the building, but as we did, two cannons went off. Concerned, we took off running through the building. Alec found them first, in the security office. The bodies were still warm, but when I checked them for pulses; nothing. Joe found the note:
To the Capitol:
We no longer want to be pawns in your twisted game.
For the sake of ourselves and our fellow Tributes, we, Niko Jovic and Gray Cortright, are
taking our own lives.
We are dying together, each of us in the presence of somebody we love.
Signed,
Niko Jovic
Gray Cortright
Joe Hardy
I held up 3 fingers and raised my hand, saluting the two.
Alec and Zoe did the same.
"To the real fallen heroes. This is true bravery."
Zoe Wolfe
Shocked and confused, we ran to the other wing of the building, to be out of the way when the bodies were taken. There was a little lounge, we all flopped down on the couch, speechless.
Chapter 132: Two More Deaths
Chapter Text

Gray and Niko have sacrificed themselves.
The Capitol wishes me to remind you all that any rebellion started by these two Tributes and the reaction from others in the lab tonight will be immediately stopped.

Chapter 133: The Sheep Shearing Paddock
Chapter Text
Phil Diffy
So, the Doctor, Munch, and I went to check on the sheep when we saw a faint light in the shearing paddock.
Detective Stabler was keeping watch outside the door, so we assumed Detective Benson was with him.
John Munch
"Let me handle this, guys," I whispered, giving them a serious look before walking up to Elliot with my hands slightly up.
"Elliot, what the fuck have you guys been doing? You and Olivia, you aren’t like this!"
He told me I was right, like I didn’t know, but that Chuck was one thing, but Tia Dalma was coming for them, and it was self defense.
We agreed that we would continue to truce with each other, and I would tell the rest of my gang. He and Olivia were planning on moving tonight anyway, and said they’d be gone in just a few. By the time I returned to the guys and explained, my former co-detectives had disappeared away into the night.
Ducky Mallard
Nobody knew I was there.
I don't want to have to be the one to kill people, but...
Just like everyone else here, I wanted to survive.
I started shooting, using a sniper rifle in the forest.
People started falling, and cannons started going off.
Elliot Stabler
We had already made it to the other side of the forest, so when we heard shots and cannons, it was especially scary… so we kept running.
The Twelfth Doctor
Munch and Phil were down, so I started going into the forest, where the shots came from.

Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
Apparently Phil Diffy died as a result of last night's showdown at the sheep paddock.
But what happened with Detective Munch. Wasn't he hurt? Is he alright?

Chapter 136: The Story of Tonight.
Chapter Text
Joe Hardy
Zoe, Alec, and I sat in the lounge for a very long time. We weren’t quite sure how long we were there, Zoe was in tears.
"Look, what Niko and Gray did was memorable, and mostly honorable, but I’m not throwing away my shot. We both have alliances to get back to."
Alec Fell
"Same here," I added. "We’ll tell the story of tonight; Niko and Gray did something strong. We will too, just differently."
And with that, we parted ways, knowing that if we ever came across each other in the future, we’d have each other’s backs.
Chapter 137: OK, then...
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
The remaining small Alliance from the Technology of Tomorrow Today lab has temporarily broke up.
And where the hell are Ducky, the Doctor, and Detectives Munch, Benson, and Stabler? And is Detective Munch dead?
What are the other Alliances doing?

Chapter 138: The Lionesses and the Prey
Chapter Text
Peter Pevensie
So, screw this waiting around;the four of us knew that the Lionesses were nearby.
They were a threat. And Donna was now leading them.
We gathered our weapons and headed out to the ghost town.
Frank Hardy
We got there, and it instantly wasn’t good. Uhura had already shot Joe, and I was crying, it wasn’t long before I shot Uhura and Johanna.
Edmund Pevensie
Joe was dead, and Frank was shot by Martha. We heard four canons in total. Uhura and Johanna were both dead. But we didn’t have time to wait around. We ran, and Donna and Martha shot at us.
We escaped, and exited into the forest.
Donna Noble
Martha and I ran as quickly as possible, but we couldn’t catch them. Out of respect, we stayed with the fallen bodies of Uhura and Johanna until the last minute, when the Capitol came. We quickly ducked out of the way and made our way into the woods.
Chapter 139: Fly Away Home
Chapter Text
Henrik van der Hune
I ended up eventually teaming up with Ducky.
Earlier in the night, we saw lights coming from behind a hedgerow. Apparently, there was a partially burned house back there, and someone was hiding there.
Wade Thornton
We saw some people come in. We all kinda scattered/hid, but Jessalyn an’ I took our places.
Ducky Mallard
Henrik threw a smoke bomb, and the two of us ran.
Jessalyn Thornton
We coughed a little, but were ultimately fine. Wade and I saw the two guys run off. They made a cute team, not gonna lie.
Henrik van der Hune
"Did that work?" I asked, panting, once we got a good distance away.
"No, I don't think so," Ducky laughed.
Jessalyn Thornton
I turned to Wade, "Should we… go after them?" with what I’m sure was a strange expression on my face. "Because I don’t really want to."
He tried to keep a straight face but broke into a laugh, replying, "OK, good, me either."

Chapter 141: Twelve Past Noon
Chapter Text
Donna Noble
We ran through the forest. Martha ahead, and me behind.
"OI!" I screamed, as she was getting too fast.
"Oh, shut up Donna. You’ll give us away," Martha said.
"Like the sounds of these leaves crunching won’t?" I told her.
"Okay then, Miss Mouth. You take the lead," Martha said.
I didn’t know if I should take that as an insult or a joke.
"OI!" I yelled again, as Martha froze in her tracks. "M-m-Martha?" I asked, turning around to face her.
"It’s… It’s the Doctor," Martha said.
I turned around, and sure enough, there was our old companion.
"H…hello."
The Twelfth Doctor
"Would you two care to join me?" I asked. "Mr. Diffy is dead, and Detective Munch seems to be MIA. I haven't forgotten either of you. no matter what rumours you may've heard."
Donna Noble
"O... of course." I stood beside him. "Haven’t changed at all."
I called for Martha to join.
Martha Jones
I mean, it's great that the three of us were all together again. It'd be nice if Mickey hadn't been killed in the first Fandom Games and was here, too, but I'll take what we've got.
Donna Noble
"So, where should we go? Any ideas, Doctor? Somewhere private, mind you."
The Twelfth Doctor
"Probably the Technology of Tomorrow Today lab complex. There's this hidden room underneath the Tesla Coil room in the main labs. I'm assuming it's the most private part of the Arena, given that a) the main labs need a key card to open the door, and b) the secret room needs Niko Jovic's fingerprint to open the door. But since Niko's dead, again, and I have a sonic screwdriver..."
Chapter 142: An Announcement from the Game Makers
Chapter Text
The Capitol Fanfare blares over the Arena from hidden speakers.
When it ends, the voice of the Head Game Maker is heard.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your next plot twist: Should any two, and only two, Tributes from a single Fandom make it to the final two, both will be declared the Victor."
Chapter 143: Interesting Plot Twists
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
So, Donna and Martha have rejoined their old friend, the Doctor.
Where is everyone else?
And the Game Makers have announced that two Tributes can win this time, but only if they're from the same Fandom. Will that actually happen?
This has been a commentary from Caesar Flickerman. May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor.
Chapter 144: The First Night Watch
Chapter Text
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
Ned ended up taking the first night watch tonight, up at the top of the lighthouse where he could see more of the surrounding part of the Arena.
I gave some BS about staying awake on his shift to cover the door, giving my baby as an excuse. I'm not sure if anyone actually bought it, but whatever.
Anyway, everyone else started nodding off, and Ned seemed intensely focused up there.
I mean, I'm grateful for my Alliance's hospitality, given the baby, but that's why I need to survive. We're six weeks in, and only half the original number of Tributes got killed off.
I know that the fireplace doesn't actually work as a fireplace, but that didn't stop me from lighting a fire in it, making sure to flip the switch to open the secret door outside beforehand.
As dark, acrid smoke started to fill the main lighthouse, I crept outside, going into down the ladder to the secret cellar, closing the secret door behind me. Before the fire could get down into the cellar, I was running through the hidden passageway down there, where I had a kayak waiting for me in the sea caves.
Patrick Dowsett
Elísabet had set a fire, and we could smell it.
Leena woke me up, and Ned had fallen asleep. We tried to wake them up. Henry was out cold, and so was Ned.
Elísabet had already gotten far, we had hoped, and we couldn’t wake our companions up.
Leena said to leave them and run. So we did. We don’t know what happened to them after that.
Leena Patel
Patrick and I dashed into the night. Leaving the lighthouse was very difficult, as I had come to feel relatively safe there.
We kept running until we reached Ca' Nascosta.

Caesar Flickerman
So, apparently Elísabet set the lighthouse on fire and left. But what happened to her Alliance? Did they all die?

Chapter 146: Burning Down the Lighthouse
Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
So, Ned and Henry died in the lighthouse fire.
Where are the other Tributes? What are they doing?
The Capitol is telling me that even with the announcement the other night with the incentive of the possibility of two Victors, there should be less Tributes in the Arena than the 23 that are still there.
I know that the Tributes themselves can't here me from my news desk here in the Capitol while they're in the Arena, but... Come on, guys! It's been six weeks, and just over half of the Tributes have died! Let's pick it up!
This has been a commentary from Caesar Flickerman. May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor.
Chapter 147: Underground.
Chapter Text
Donna Noble
Martha, the Doctor, and I found our way out to the Lab. The door was unlocked, which wasn’t surprising, seeing as how there were already Tributes there previously.
The Doctor led us down a couple of halls and into a room. There was a big Tesla Coil in the middle, but that’s not what caught the Doctor’s attention. He opened up a grate in the floor and climbed down the ladder. We did the same.
The door down there needed the fingerprint of Niko Jovic. Niko was dead of course, but the Doctor used his sonic screwdriver to get in.
We entered a small workroom. There was a television set in the corner, with different sets showing us the whole arena. Around the TV were many buttons.
The Twelfth Doctor
"That TV set is new..." I said. "Definitely don't touch anything, especially not the computer over there."
"Wait, why?" Donna asked.
"I've been in the Arena a few times due to some regeneration exception. One time, we were messing around on a computer, trying to spy on the other Tributes, and the whole thing went up in flames. People died."
Donna Noble
Martha suggested that maybe she could hack into it to see where the feed was coming from, but the Doctor was against that too.
"For now we should just lie low, the only person who could get in here was Niko, and us of course," Martha said.
Chapter 148: A Gift from the Sponsors
Chapter Text
A large, cylindrical metal capsule falls onto the front lawn of Moira Chisholm's condo. It looks like a Sponsor has taken a liking to Abbie Carmichael, Casey Novak, and Alex Cabot.
Abbie Carmichael
We heard something, and I, being the fastest (I did run track and play soccer when I was younger) ran outside to grab it. I looked outside– there was nobody in sight.
You see, we had been kinda plotting and chatting about leaving our little safety place, but after losing Rena, we were all wary. I know Casey was worried about Elliot and Olivia, too.
Casey Novak
"Soooo let’s open it?!" I urged Abbie and Alex. "But, like, let’s also make sure it doesn’t explode."
Alex Cabot
So, it didn’t explode, which was helpful.
Also, what was in it was quite helpful, as well. Maybe even helpful enough for us to venture out tonight...
Chapter 149: Out in the Arena
Chapter Text
Katniss Everdeen
"OK, we're safe here in the Moulin, I guess," I said to Peeta. "But I'm bored. We should move. The secret basement in here could be our base camp should anything go wrong."
"Should I bring any of the bread bombs?"
I thought a minute. "Might as well."
Peeta Mellark
I packed my bread bombs and headed out the windmill, Katniss in front, bow ready.
I was bread bomb ready.
Katniss Everdeen
"OK, now what?" I hissed.
"I don't know! This was your idea!"
We headed west and came to this desert. That Buell's place looked interesting.
Peeta Mellark
We entered.
There were still some supplies left by the Tributes before us, so we took the opportunity to snag some. There were also many pieces of taffy lying around...
Katniss Everdeen
"Go easy on that stuff, Mr. Sweet Tooth."
Peeta Mellark
"Gee, sorry. But I definitely think we should stay here. I mean, the food here is loaded."
Katniss Everdeen
"On the one hand, that's a good thing, but on the other... I can't help but wonder if the other Tributes are ever gonna come back for it and find us here..."
Peeta Mellark
"But -- no. You’re right. Maybe this isn’t such a good idea."
Katniss Everdeen
"So what do we do now?"
Peeta Mellark
"Maybe we should stay here for now, at most just the night. We’ll be ready if anyone comes back."
Katniss Everdeen
"Yeah, sure. We can do that."
Chapter 150: The Condo
Chapter Text
Peter Pevensie
After escaping from the Lionesses, Edmund and I wound up in a condo.
We didn’t know whose it was, or why it was there, but we entered it anyway.
We saw a note, and the note was addressed "Moira Chisholm."
Edmund Pevensie
"Moira Chisholm," I began. "This must be who owns -- or used to own, this cabin."
Pete picked up a picture of a young woman with red hair, cradling a baby.
"This… This reminds me of Mum…" he began.
"I know, Pete; I’d give anything to be out of this Arena, but we’re here, and it is what it is. We’re the only two Pevensie children left."
Peter Pevensie
I couldn’t help it; tears began to shed from my eyes, and Edmund begun to cry, too.
We were grateful to have a place to stay, Moira’s bedroom had a big enough bed, but there were many things there that reminded us of the home we used to have, before we got caught up in this mess.
We thought about how Lucy was the first Pevensie to lose her life. I remember Susan watching the television, and broke down when she saw what had happened.
Susan was next. Her death was much more brutal, and that’s what really got to Edmund, and changed him, and pushed him to win.
So there we were, in the cabin of a Scottish woman, crying in each other’s arms at the memories of our fallen siblings.
Edmund Pevensie
The main thing that got to me was what we saw in the corner of the room.
There was a bag full of arrows. Moira must have been really into archery, or at least knew someone who was.
I picked one up, and touched the tip. I remember when Susan had showed me How to make one, and I still remember the skill.
I really do miss the times we had in Narnia. But now there are only two Pevensies left.
Two children desperate to win, and come out on top for their family.
Peter Pevensie
"Come on, Ed. Let’s go to sleep. It’s been a long day."
Alex Cabot
We arrived back at our cabin to find two young boys, asleep on the bed.
We felt bad, but figured we should wake them up, just to let them know that we’d truce with them.
Abbie was the last one to join us; she put the gun away. I gently touched the older boy’s shoulder.
"Hello? Umm.. I’m sorry to wake you, but please wake up?" I said, grasping at straws; I’m a lawyer! I don’t know how to wake up young children.
Edmund Pevensie
"Huh... uh?" I awoke. These ladies look nice.
"Sorry… We.. We won’t hurt you. We just needed a place to sleep, we just got into a big altercation. We’ll leave now if you want. We’re just kids."
I woke up Pete.
Casey Novak
Alex is so bad with kids… not that I’m amazing, but for her sake I took over.
"No, no! You don’t have to leave; you can stay. I’m Casey, and this is Alex, and that one is Abbie," I said with a smile. "We won’t hurt you, and you won’t hurt us? How’s that sound?"
The boys smiled.
"Now, you guys get back to sleep; we’ll be in the other room."
Chapter 151: Maxine's Diner
Chapter Text
Henrik van der Hune
Ducky and I have been safe at Maxine's Diner.
But then we heard voices coming towards the building and lights in the windows.
Alex Cabot
So we ventured towards Maxine’s Diner… There were definitely some people in there. There was a sniper-ish gun in our package with a tag that said "Dear Abbie," which would be cute, except it was a gun. But they must have known that she was a really good shot.
Casey and I shined (shone?) flashlights through the windows while Abbie got ready, and then she shot. A bunch of times. Through the windows and into the diner. We heard a cannon, turned, and ran, stopping along the way every once in a while to make sure nobody was following us (nobody was).
Henrik van der Hune
As soon as I saw the lights, I dropped to the ground and army crawled into the kitchen. I ripped the ladle under one of the counters out from supporting a gas pipe. The whole building was a ticking time bomb.
I heard gunfire and a cannon and knew Ducky must've been down.
So I took a lighter out of my pocket and set the gas on fire, sacrificing myself.
I hope the blast was enough to hurt or kill the shooters.

Chapter Text
Caesar Flickerman
Henrik and Ducky died in Maxine's Diner.
To be honest, I think that even the viewers in the Capitol who were rooting for those two weren't even disappointed that they were killed.
We're all just kinda waiting for someone to win, at this point.

Chapter 154: A Spark
Chapter Text
Elísabet Grimursdóttir
I spent all day making a Molotov cocktail with things I got from the Cornucopia.
And tonight, I threw it in that one condo where I saw other Tributes. It erupted into fire very quickly.
As soon as I heard five cannons, I ran.
Chapter 155: HOLY FUCKING SHIT
Chapter Text

John Munch
I’ve been hanging on… kinda… I heard that my favorite lawyers were at that cabin. I had made my way there… Maybe they could help me. But before I knew it, explosions and fire and boom.

Five people died in the condo explosion.
Here in the Capitol, we're all waiting to see who else will get killed off, and we're hoping it will be soon.

Chapter 158: So I went out for a walk...
Chapter Text
Ellie York
...And I saw Elísabet… she looked like she was in pain/discomfort… I hurried over to see if she was alright, being pregnant and all.
I bent down to ask if she was alright and offer her a hand...
...And she shot me.
Well, see what I get for trying to be a good person?
Chapter 159: Life and Death
Chapter Text
Olivia Benson
Elliot and I just arrived after something went down between Ellie and Elísabet. I wish we got there sooner, maybe we could have stopped it. We watched from the shadows as Elísabet continued on.
Then she cried out in pain and fell to the ground. Now Elliot and I wouldn’t fall for the same trick that Ellie did, but we’ve dealt with pregnant and giving-birth women… and something was definitely going on with her and that baby. If it was born now, it’d be pretty early. Not deathly early for the baby, but early all the same. Agreeing to cover each other, Elliot and I made our way towards Elísabet.
Her water had definitely just broken. She was going to have to give birth… right here, right now. I started comforting her while Elliot disarmed her.
Blood, sweat, and tears go into nearly every birth. However, there was a lot of blood, an unhealthy amount of blood. Elisabet was in a lot of pain, and we were in the middle of contractions. "Focus," I told her. "Focus. On your precious baby. What are you going to name it? Concentrate on the baby, on Magnus, on your life together. That’s it! One more push!"
And a new life began; a beautiful baby. A relatively healthy baby, despite being premature. Crying for it’s mother.
Right. It’s mother… Elísabet… who was still not doing well, despite both my and El’s best efforts. I know we aren’t doctors, but as SVU detectives we’re trained for situations like this, and we were doing what we could. But we could see the blood loss affecting her. We put her baby in her arms and watched them bond, soothing both of them, until Elísabet’s eyes shut.
I checked her pulse (nothing) and Elliot gingerly took the baby from her arms. He covered its little ears as a cannon went off.
Chapter 160: Alec LITERALLY Fell
Chapter Text
Peeta Mellark
Katniss was asleep, and I had a headache, so I went outside.
I saw something moving in the trees nearby. I grabbed my gun and started for the forest.
It was Alec Fell. He pulled his gun, and I pulled mine.
I was first. Alec fell to the ground, and I ran back inside.
Chapter 161: The Humming
Chapter Text
Martha Jones
The Doctor was out exploring the rest of the lab when Donna and I heard a loud humming noise.
Donna and I ran out into the secret passageway. The doorway, the ladder and the hatch were glowing blue as the TARDIS.
Donna scrambled up the ladder, despite my warnings. She said something about wanting to see if the Doctor was OK.
And then I heard a loud electrical sparking as she opened the hatch. There was a cannon.
I ran back into the secret room to check the video monitors to safely see who'd died.
Donna Noble
The Doctor had went to investigate the humming, and I went after him.
I heard a large bang, and I figured, hey? There was a faraday cage nearby.
I climbed in it as the room exploded with electricity.
It was then when I saw the Doctor, lying near near the door. He had died… Again.

Chapter 164: Wandering Through the Woods
Chapter Text
Donna Noble
After the Doctor’s death, Martha and I left.
Martha had been working on an explosive, something I didn’t know about. It was something she’d been doing at night.
We had approached the Ca’ where we had seen two other tributes walk in earlier.
Martha threw the explosive in, and the whole place exploded.
We heard 2 cannons.
Chapter 165: Wandering Through the Woods, Part Two.
Chapter Text
Donna Noble
Martha and I left the Ca’ and went back through the woods.
We ran into Wade Thornton and Jessalyn Thornton. We immediately began to shoot at them.
Jessalyn Thornton
Wade and I jumped behind trees, dodging their shots, and shooting back at them. I saw Wade was hit, and was torn between continuing to shoot and going to help him. For now I’ll keep shooting, I guess… I hit one of the women, and I think Wade might have been able to hit the other before he collapsed.
Donna Noble
Martha was down, and so was Wade. Wade took a shot at me, and I collapsed, but only after shooting Jessalyn as I fell.
"Oi!" I raised my head to the sky. "Is this what you want, Capitol? We’ve given you what you want."
That was the last thing I did before hearing 4 cannons.
Chapter 166: The Baby
Chapter Text
Magnus Kiljansson
So, Elísabet and I were having a child?
And said baby was just born very premature in the Arena only halfway through the pregnancy?
If these Games don't end soon, I'm sure he or she will die, just like the mother.
And Tumi was just as upset as I was seeing her die on TV. He was howling like mad.
Chapter 167: Nearing the End
Chapter Text
Katniss Everdeen
"So, wait, are there six Tributes left total?" I asked Peeta.
Peeta Mellark
"I… I think so. Looks like lying low worked. The only person I’ve had to harm was that Fell guy. But now he’s in an Alec Cell."
Katniss Everdeen
"Oh, wow. Bad pun. But I think that we shouldn't lie low anymore. If we're gonna win, we should take out the others. And bring the bread bombs."
Peeta Mellark
"Will do," I loaded my satchel full of bread bombs. "I’ve got plenty to spare, more than 6, to be exact."
Katniss Everdeen
"OK, good," I said.
We left Buell's. Not too far away, there was an old train... with lights on inside.
Zoe Wolfe
So I had been up to some of my spy tricks, namely eavesdropping… I heard what they were planning, and had to put a stop to it.
As they exited Buell’s, I loaded my (silenced) gun and pulled the trigger, aiming right at Katniss’s back. She didn’t even look around when she exited, she got too cocky. One, two, three perfect shots: A cannon went off. She didn’t even look around when she exited; she got too cocky. Sorry, but it was her or me.
Peeta Mellark
"OK, WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?" I asked, turning around and facing the spy.
"What the literal hell?" I asked Zoe.
I picked a bread bomb and chugged it her way. I saw it explode beside her. The explosion was loud, and I turned around and covered my ears.
Zoe Wolfe
I saw Peeta grab for the bread bomb, and moved out of the way. Alone one wasn’t very powerful, but the noise/explosion was startling. It was in that moment that I took hold of Peeta, tied him up, and brought him to the train. That’s where me and Casey had been. We made a little Alliance in the time since we both lost our teams. While I went to deal with them, she went to talk to Elliot and Olivia.
Chapter 168: Finale
Chapter Text
Peeta Mellark
OK, so, my one true lover just got shot by some Clever Spy Bitch...
I was tied up to a chair in one of the cars on the train.
I used my teeth to untie the ropes on my wrists.
I went up to the dining car and saw Benson, Stabler, Casey, and the Spy Bitch. Stabler was holding a baby.
I realized, why should I hurt Elísabet’s child?
"The only way to truly let the child live is for you to sacrifice yourself..." Zoe said.
"OH, I see, you’re trying to kill someone else innocent, too." I startled her.
"How did you?! Ugh, I need a bag-and-drag," Zoe began.
"We -- of course we will sacrifice ourselves for this child," Benson said.
Olivia Benson
"We -- of course we will sacrifice ourselves for this child," I said. "That was pretty much our plan, we just wanted to wait as long as possible, so the baby won’t be alone." I took Casey over to the side and said my goodbyes and last words/advice/etc., then I took the baby from Elliot as he did the same.
I gave the baby to Casey, gave her one last hug, and Elliot and I walked off of the train.
Peeta Mellark
I pulled a gun.
"Who first?"
Casey Novak
I took charge:
"Or, nobody shoots and we all make it out alive, plus the baby, but it’s going to take honesty from everyone," I added, looking at Peeta.
Zoe Wolfe
"I’m all for it," I commented, with a pointed look at Peeta, who dropped his gun and kicked it away.
"I am too..." he agreed. "But how?"
"Well, I’m not really sure?" I trailed off... "I think that we have to tell the Capitol?... Maybe?"
Peeta Mellark
"You can easily look at the sky and talk to the Capitol..." I told them.
Casey Novak
"Alright, let’s do this shit."
Baby in my arms, Zoe, Peeta, and I walked off the train and looked up at the sky, we all spoke up.
"Alright, Capitol, it’s us three and we’re at a truce," Zoe started.
"None of us are going to kill each other. It’s over," Peeta continued.
"Instead of one 'winner,' you’ve got three and a baby. We don’t care if we’re from different fandoms," I finished.
The voice of the Head Game Maker was broadcast over the Arena.
"Nope. It doesn't work that way. Not since there's only one person from each fandom. There will be only one winner and the baby, or the baby will be declared the winner. If the latter happens, we're sending in Peacekeepers to take the baby and kill the three of you."
Casey Novak
"YOU KNOW WHAT? NO," I screamed back, my voice getting hoarse. "It’s all of us or none of us, including the baby."
Zoe took over, "We’ll all kill ourselves and the baby."
"And we know that’s not what you guys want," Peeta finished.
Then the booming voice came again, "Fine." It sounded annoyed and resigned. "But this cannot and will not happen again."
And then it was over. A helicopter came and took us all. We were safe, and it this nightmare game was over.
Or so they thought.
What they didn't see was that, as soon as the helicopter was boarded by the Tributes, the Head Game Maker, up in the control room, getting word from the President of Fandomia to enact an emergency plan.
"Do it," the Head Game Maker said into a smaller microphone.
The helicopter pilot responded, "Yes, Ma'am."
The helicopter went down, and their were four cannons: three for the Tributes and one for the unfortunate baby.
Chapter 169: Partners in Life and Death
Chapter Text
Elliot Stabler
Olivia and I walked off the train, knowing we were on our way to die. We found a little apartment… A little too pink for my liking, but it was fine, it was comfortable.
We had a talk -- one of our talks. We were both very emotional, I’ll admit.
Tears in Olivia’s eyes, she grabbed my hand, and we both loaded our guns.
Olivia Benson
I squeezed Elliot’s hand and he squeezed mine back; this was it.
We each pulled our trigger.
Peeta Mellark
Casey screamed as we heard two cannons.
Just 3 left.
