For all the years they knew each other, they had never spend New Year's Eve together. That time was usually reserved for their families and the friends they couldn't see throughout the year. But now the stars aligned and Max and Lance were at the same place at the same time for that last day of the year. Lance knew exactly what he wanted.
An hour to midnight he asked if he could kiss Max when the clock would strike twelve.
Max said yes.
At midnight they kissed for the very first time. This year would be a good year.
