    After finding themselves flung together by truly impossible circumstances, Astarion and Naivara look for comfort in each other as they travel the Sword Coast with their strange new companions, searching for a cure to the illithid parasites in their heads.     Of course, he’d hoped to avoid the subject entirely. But after he was caught trying to bite Naivara, the elven sorcerer in this merry band of parasite infected misfits, his condition came out.

    He’d originally chosen her because she felt like the safest option, or perhaps she just seemed the least likely to ram a stake through his ribs. And he'd hoped she was the least likely to wake with his attempt.

    However, he’d been very wrong, and she had woken.
