Ryomen Sukuna, the only heir of Ryomen clan. A clan who gets an epithet king of business for how many businesses industry they have. Sukuna was proud for himself as a Ryomen and for all the achievement he made. A top student for almost any field at school. A prime alpha who can make any other alphas cower in fear. The only heir who is undeniably the richest person in the rich elite school. His clan is one of the clans that founding the school. He even has a very loyal servant since he was a pup. The only downside of his life is when he starts to enter high school.
On the first day of high school his parents die from a car crash. Actually, Sukuna doesn’t care about his parents at all because they never there for him. Uraume actually is the one who raise him since he was an infant pup. The death of his parent just made him will became the head of Ryomen clan faster and will get inherited all the wealth and businessess as soon as he graduated high school. The only problem from their death is the elders of Ryomen clan told him to quickly find a fiancée before finishing school.
Which Sukuna call it bullshit. The only one who agree with Sukuna is Uraume who also tried to console him with pointed out the clan elder can only meddle that far and who Sukuna’s fiancée is up for Sukuna to choose. With that Uraume also proposing an idea to pay someone to pretend to be his fiancée after he graduated from school. Sukuna agreed with such an idea and even be more intrigued when Uraume told him they will try to find a suitable candidate later when he enters his third year.
Since then, a prospect to have a partner much less a fiancée never crossed Sukuna’s mind at all. Well, that’s until he entering his third year of high school that prospect of having a mate seemed to be something very interesting. It was all happened since he knows about someone name Itadori Yuuji.
The first time Sukuna saw him is at the first day of school in his third year. Usually, Sukuna would like to ditch this kind of event, but something stops him when he was on his way to skip the ceremony. A person fell on top of him when he is in the middle of walking beside the wall that separate the school ground with the outside world. Of course, his first reaction is to tried to strangle the person who did that to him. The brat unfortunately already run away from Sukuna after give a short apologize. So, with unbelievable rage Sukuna tried to chase the person and ended up entering the school gym where the opening ceremony already going for half away.
Sukuna tried to find where the person is and it was easy to find the brat for him also has a strawberry blond hair like Sukuna, albeit a few shades lighter and on note a natural one unlike a few students who dye their hair. Before Sukuna can beat up the brat, the teacher already pulled him away from the first year’s student lines and place him on his class line.
At the end of school, Sukuna is determinate to beat up the boy for what he did this morning. After searching the whole school, Sukuna still can’t find the brat. With full of irritation, Sukuna started to going home. In the middle of the way home, his car suddenly stopped abruptly. It wasn’t because of no reason. Someone just got threw and landed on top of the car hood. Uraume who was driving the car, getting out and check on the car while also getting rid of the nuisance on the car hood. Sukuna just staying inside the car and waiting for Uraume to finish up everything, so they can continue driving Sukuna home.
As he stays inside the car, his eyes caught someone who was walking out from an alley while dragging something. Stunned is the right word for what Sukuna just saw. It wasn’t because the one who got dragged was a thug looked like got beaten up for a life time, but who the person dragging out the thug is. The brat from this morning is standing there with a predatory look. There isn’t any bruise or injury on the boy. Only a little spot of blood on his face and a dripping blood from his clenching fist. Sukuna can't get his eyes away from the view at all. Something inside him seemed to bloom and warming at watching the sign alone.
But as soon as the view appear, it also quickly gone the moment the brat noticed the commotion happening at the road and quickly proceed to run away from the scene. For some odd reason, the alpha inside Sukuna become restless and Sukuna doesn’t know why.
Since that day, Sukuna always trying to find out who the brat is. His name is Itadori Yuuji. Lived in Sendai before moving to Tokyo after his grandfather die. A very athletic student who become a prey of so many sport clubs to make him join them and for some reason ended up joining a cooking club. Sometimes get into a fight with some students. Has three close friends. An alpha named Fushiguro Megumi and a beta named Kugisaki Nobara. Beside the two of them, Yuuji also close with so many people like a few students from second year and third year. He also likes wearing a hoodie over his jacket uniform. The best is, he seemed single.
After all of that, Sukuna still can’t conclude why he seemed drawn to the brat. Sukuna only realized his feeling when it was the time for sport festival. His class and Yuuji’s class always got the highest score. Even so, it looks more like Sukuna and Yuuji is battling with each other. In the end because both classes got tied, it was decided they will be doing tug of war to decide the winner.
Both classes placed their strongest students and most dominant alphas in this one. Sukuna as a prime alpha and the strongest person in his class, placed on the front. While on the other side, Yuuji is the one who placed on the front. For a second, Sukuna thought it was because Yuuji is the strongest until the game start. All player tried to pull as strong as they can without thinking anything anymore to the point the alpha students start to growl at opposite team. Yuuji’s class seemed to get a little effected by it. Only Yuuji seemed not care at all and even delivering his own growl at Sukuna’s class like an alpha do.
Loud and clear. Not as a threat, but as a warning. Something primal inside Sukuna seemed doesn’t like Yuuji's attitude. It was like an alpha attitude. An attitude that is more than challenging an alpha and it was unacceptable. His alpha is very much doesn’t happy and wanted to put Yuuji in his place. So, Sukuna involuntary growling back at Yuuji to make the brat submit. The next thing happen is Yuuji seemed startled at that and makes his grip on the rope weakening. Resulting in very much Yuuji get pulled and not just mere pulled, but pulled and landed on top of Sukuna.
His heart beating nonstop at how the brat is sprawled on top of Sukuna and even after registering there is no scent came from Yuuji. Leaving Sukuna warm and bothered. At night in his room, Sukuna has a long discussion with Uraume about how to proceed his feeling towards Yuuji. Uraume, the only person who ever get Sukuna respect and care, support Sukuna in harboring feeling for the beta brat and even proposing a few suggestions to help him.
Following Uraume suggestions is an easy thing, but getting the result he wanted proved harder than Sukuna imagines. The beta brat is the most oblivious person Sukuna ever known. Trying to get Yuuji’s attention usually ended with both of them growling at each other and almost went into a fight. Helping Yuuji on something came out as futile because Yuuji refuse and prove he doesn’t need help. Even when he was, Yuuji just looked confused all the time.
The worst happen when it was at cultural festival. Yuuji’s class open a rental booth service where anyone get to rental any student in their class. So of course, Sukuna decides to rent Yuuji for a whole day. With how rich Sukuna is, it doesn’t difficult for him to pay that much. With plan he already meticulously crafted with some input from Uraume, Sukuna drags Yuuji for a date around the school. After all of that, Yuuji still doesn’t notice Sukuna’s feeling at all it seems.
It made Sukuna frustrated to no end. Not just that, but his alpha is pretty much as frustrated as Sukuna is. Every night he will just go to his gym inside the house to let out some steam for all the frustration he has. Not to mention the clan elders start to asking about who Sukuna choose to be his fiancée. Sukuna doesn’t want to pay someone to pretend as his fiancée anymore. He just wanted Yuuji and Yuuji alone. His alpha agrees with him.
Uraume, the very loyal servant of his, suggesting him to just confess his feeling towards the beta brat who apparently still single. What is more perfect time than at valentine day. With that Sukuna learn how to make the best Honmei Choco from the best chef in his house which is Uraume. Alpha usually never gifts anything to other people outside of family and pack so easily, especially at valentine. Such an act like that very much viewed as an alpha trying to court someone or a show of affection towards their mate. So, the beta brat will finally understand Sukuna feeling once he gifts a Honmei Choco for him.
With a box of homemade Honmei Choco, Sukuna going to school with confident more than he usually has. Not like he usually has any less, Sukuna just feels everything will finally goes as he wanted today. He arrived early at school today to start his plan that consist with a few parts. The first part is to getting rid of all the possible competitor in gifting chocolate.
Sukuna isn’t blind. There is many omegas and female betas that likes Yuuji. Getting rid of the chocolates inside the beta brat’s shoes locker and desk without anyone notice is really easy. It was even easier to dump the chocolate on other shoes locker and desk without anyone notice. His alpha pretty much approved his action because the only chocolate Yuuji is allowed to accept is Sukuna’s chocolate.
When Yuuji get into school, the first thing Sukuna notice is a thick potent alpha scent wrapping around Yuuji that screamed ‘STAY AWAY!’. Whoever this alpha is, surely is asking for getting murdered by Sukuna for how dare to scenting Yuuji. The only one who is allowed to do that is Sukuna alone, but at least the scent proved to help Sukuna in his plan a little. Every omega and a few female betas who is about to gift Yuuji chocolate, noticeably cowering away in fear. The only one who seemed doesn’t mind by the scent is Kugisaki who walking towards Yuuji and give him a chocolate.
His alpha is angry at the display, but Sukuna tried to calm his alpha down with pointing Kugisaki also give the same chocolate towards Fushiguro. It means what she gifted a Giri Choco, not to mention for what Sukuna heard Kugisaki is dating the second year’s female alpha, Zenin Maki from Kendo club.
There is no one seems to have any more courage in giving Yuuji chocolate. Even if there was any, it was just Yuuji usual friends. Like Hoshi Kirara the male beta from third year, Gojo who practically giving the whole school free chocolate, Haibara-sensei who from what Sukuna heard already preparing a box of chocolates for his homeroom class, and Miwa Kasumi along with Kurusu Hana who apparently giving a chocolate as a form of thank you towards Yuuji for helping them making Honmei Choco for their respective crush. His alpha seemed displeased at that, but it quickly turned out to be agitated when Yuuji start to give chocolate for some reason. Yuuji give chocolate for almost everyone. He even gives some teacher chocolate start from Geto-sensei, Gojo, Nanami-sensei, Haibara-sensei, Utahime-sensei, and even Shoko the school doctor. The first year he gives consisted of Kugisaki, Fushiguro, and Kurusu from cooking club. The second year he gives consisted of Maki and her sister, Okkotsu and his girlfriend, Panda, Inumaki and Miwa who also from cooking club. The third year he gives consisted of Hakari, Kirara, Todo, and the most shocking person is Kamo.
Sukuna knows, his most dangerous enemy is Kamo. It was clear Kamo and Yuuji seemed to have some sort of relationship for how they are in first name basis. That’s why Sukuna hate Kamo so much. His mood already damped by how there is some dumb alpha scenting Yuuji then some unsignificant people giving Yuuji chocolate, not to input there is no usual extra free food at cafeteria, and with the scene just happening right now is clearly worsening everything.
Kamo calmly walking towards where the beta brat is eating with his friends and quickly gaining Yuuji’s attention who quickly pullout a bar of chocolate neatly wrapped in black wrapper.
“Noritoshi-Aniki, here. I have a chocolate for you. It is your favorite, coffee flavor” said Yuuji as he handed the chocolate with a big bright smile.
Yuuji know Kamo’s favorite?! How?! Why?!
“Thank you, Yuuji-kun” reply Kamo as he takes the chocolate from Yuuji.
“And I notice how he seemed went overboard in scenting you” added Kamo after take a sniff of the alpha scent from Yuuji.
The alpha scent around Yuuji is clear a scent to make other know Yuuji is off limit, but if someone with a nose as good as Sukuna is, will know it wasn’t scent to stake a claim. It only screamed ‘STAY AWAY!’, not ‘MINE’ or ‘TAKEN’. Whoever dumb alpha scenting Yuuji never intended to give indication Yuuji already has a mate, but rather to show Yuuji isn’t allowed to have one at the moment. Now for what Kamo said, whoever scenting Yuuji is someone Kamo knows and from Yuuji’s close friends’ reaction they also know who is responsible for the scent. It was normal for someone to scent other. Either for show the other is getting court by other or already have a mate. Even pack and family alike usually like to scenting each other. For some reason, Yuuji never has any other people scent around him. Not even from the alpha Fushiguro who looks like part of Yuuji’s pack.
“I know. It wasn’t like I hate his scent or something, but being reeked with a scent that scream to other people to stay away from me is really uncomfortable” complain Yuuji.
As Yuuji look so resigned to his fate with reeking of some alpha scent who Sukuna is more than happy to beat up, Kamo is fucking petting Yuuji on the head and pull out 4 coins chocolate from his pants pocket. Sukuna is about to go feral and attack the alpha if he didn’t hear what the male alpha said next.
“Here, for you and your brothers”
Wait. He knows about Yuuji’s brothers? Since when Yuuji has brothers?! But is that mean what he gives is Giri chocolate?
“Thank you, Aniki. I will give this to them” reply Yuuji as he takes the chocolate coins.
It seems Sukuna needs to look deeper about Yuuji’s family information because how can he missed about Yuuji’s brothers?!
After that, Kamo walks away and Yuuji continued his lunch. Sukuna is still angry at the scene while his alpha is pretty much wanted to rip apart Kamo, but what just happened seemed all platonic. It was still very suspicious in Sukuna opinion. He already tried to interrogate many people about the relations between Kamo and Yuuji. Some said they’re dating which Sukuna doubt it for how Yuuji doesn’t have any scent that indicated Kamo and him dating. Some said both students already know each other even before they entered school. Some also said they’re childhood friend.
None of that sounds very convincing in Sukuna opinion. There is something else between Yuuji and Kamo. A close relationship, but not an intimate one. Maybe Sukuna could ask Uraume to try and find some information about it. Uraume always done an excellent job, so Sukuna is sure they will find what it is between Kamo and Yuuji.
School went as usual. Sukuna finished his class while his head is full of Yuuji. The Honmei Choco is still inside his bag and he couldn’t wait to give Yuuji, but there is a finally touch Sukuna need to put on his gift before Yuuji receive it.
For all his appearance and attitude showed, Sukuna actually has interest in art. Especially towards poetry and calligraphy. So, at his calligraphy club, Sukuna writes a poem that he will give along with the Honmei Choco for Yuuji. He already made the poem last night and now he just need to write it on the paper with his brush. It took time until Sukuna is sure he got it perfect, but time isn’t really a matter in Sukuna opinion because Yuuji usually spend a long time at cooking club.
When Sukuna came out from the calligraphy club, it was a shock to know cooking club ended earlier than usual. Panic surge instantly all around his body and his alpha screamed at him to go get Yuuji before he goes home. With all his strength, Sukuna run towards the building entrance and hastily changed his shoes before rushing out from the building. It was only a few steps from the school building entrance when he saw it.
Yuuji is standing in front of someone. A man. A handsome one it seems. With 2 pig tails as a weird choice of hair style and a rectangle tattoo on his face. They’re on a conversation and because how far Sukuna from them, he can’t hear what it’s they’re talking about. Then Sukuna watched how Yuuji pulled out a big heart box from his bag and handed it towards the man. When the man opened it and take out what inside it, Sukuna eyes widened. It was a chocolate. The man ate it before processing to hug Yuuji and Yuuji, he was hugging the man back.
At the display of affection, Sukuna’s heart feels hurt. As if someone just rip it from his chest and put it inside a blender. It hurt so much. That chocolate is very different than any other chocolate Yuuji gives towards the other. It was definitely not Giri Choco.
As he was frozen at what happened, someone already standing beside him with a box of chocolate shoved in front of his face.
“Ryomen-kun, please take my Honmei Choco for you”
Kochiku Yorozu. The crazy bitch who has an obsession towards Sukuna. The bitch practically trying her hardest since this morning to get Sukuna take her Honmei Choco. She wasn’t the only student trying to give a chocolate to Sukuna. He was popular and there is no way to deny it. The whole school know it because who doesn’t want to be with Sukuna. Doesn’t mean Sukuna wanted to take chocolate from other students. Usually, Sukuna will just take the chocolate and never give a reply at white day, but this year valentine Sukuna refuse any other chocolate or any form of gift and confession. Heck, Sukuna even gives the chocolate he found today in his shoes’ locker and desk for all his classmate.
The only one he wanted is Yuuji and Yuuji alone, but with what just he saw a moment ago feels like a big joke right now. He wanted to get a Honmei Choco from Yuuji or at least giving his for the beta brat, but here they’re. Yuuji gives someone else what looks like to be a Honmei Choco while Sukuna was chased by some sort of crazy omega who keep shoving a Honmei Choco at him.
With anger so clear, Sukuna takes the big box Honmei Choco from her and marching back inside the school. He didn’t care if the crazy omega is purring in happiness, what inside Sukuna mind right now is to take out his anger. So, it was what he did. Bursting into one of the rooms in school that turned out to be science lab. Sukuna takes out the matches kept there and burn the bitch’s Honmei Choco along with his Honmei Choco and the calligraphy poem he made for Yuuji inside the lab’s sink.

Sukuna recites the poem he made again inside his head while watching it burning along side the chocolate. Even if the water sprinkle turned on and start to soaking his clothes wet, Sukuna still standing there watching all his hard work wasted just that. It took until the water sprinkle turned off that Sukuna walked out of the lab and towards where Uraume likely waiting with the car.
Once Sukuna got inside, Uraume immediately start the car and drive away from the school. They didn’t ask him about his soaked appearance even if it was clear they notice it. They just silently driving and let Sukuna calm himself down. The road around this time is almost empty, likely because of valentine day so hopefully Sukuna can get home quickly. They are just barely out of school when it was stopped abruptly by something thrown on top of the car hood.
Someone walking out from an alley while dragging a bloodied body with one hand. Sukuna quickly recognized it as Yuuji. There is blood smeared on his face who showed a clear rage almost borderline feral. Unlike the first time Sukuna saw Yuuji came dragging other out from an alley, he doesn’t run away. The beta processed to slamming down the thug he just dragged out onto the pavement before approaching the bloodied thug on the car hood and start to delivering punches with so much furry.
Uraume and Sukuna quickly getting out of the car and tried to separate the two. Yuuji is growling and hissing in Sukuna's arms while trying to struggle as much as possible to get out from his grip. There is something wrong with the beta brat. His alpha screaming on him to do something. So, Sukuna decides to follow his instinct and hug the beta brat while let out a soothing scent. The struggle slowly subsided while the growling and hissing turned into sobbing. In no time, Yuuji is gripping onto Sukuna very tight while crying his eyes out.
It took some time to calm Yuuji down. When Yuuji seemed to finally calm down, he tried once again to get away from Sukuna. There is no way Sukuna will let that happen. His alpha screaming to not let Yuuji go. Keep him. He is Sukuna’s. His fangs ached to mark Yuuji. So subconsciously, Sukuna fangs landed on the back of Yuuji’s neck and what Sukuna taste isn’t skin at all, but something else.
A sudden whine snapping Sukuna out. He quickly draws his fangs away from Yuuji’s neck and found out there are high-quality scent patches, but it wasn’t what making him stunned. As much as it was a shock to found out Yuuji is wearing scent patches underneath his high collar hoodie and uniform, nothing compared to where the whine came from. The one who just whining is the beta brat in his arms. The whining doesn’t sound like the normal whining, instead it sounds like the one came out of throat Omega usually produce.
It was silence for a moment until Yuuji decide to break it.
“Ryomen-senpai, can you let me go now?” Sukuna didn’t miss the low whine under Yuuji request.
“Not until you tell me what happen to you” respond Sukuna sharp because there is no way Sukuna won’t get an answer about what just happened to Yuuji.
Before, he looks happy and give a chocolate to someone and the next, he was beating up some thugs. Everything just so confusing and doesn’t make any senses at all. Not to mention what just Sukuna found out about the scent patches and the whining. The demand of his alpha to keep his arms around Yuuji also a main reason why Sukuna get an excuse to not let go of Yuuji.
It was clear how uncomfortable Yuuji is for how much he is fidgeting, but the brat seems to realize there is no way out until he answering. It isn’t like Sukuna will let him go once he told him what happen, but it is also good if Sukuna got some explanation to why Yuuji tried to beat someone as if he wanted to kill them. Yuuji for all his violent nature, as far as Sukuna know, never goes this far even to his stalker. There must be something to explain this.
“So today, I want to gift something to someone. But I heard from other person, this someone already accept a Honmei Choco which is the only chocolate this someone apparently take and not refused today”
A confusion written clear in Sukuna's face at that time at Yuuji's explanation. At one side, Sukuna’s alpha is mad and happy at the same time because the bastard didn’t get a chocolate from Yuuji and made the brat sad. On the other side thought, his alpha is practically wanted to go feral at the hint Yuuji seemed to have a feeling with this certain someone.
“I saw you give a chocolate to so many people today, even a big heart box to a guy at the gate. So why you’re become this pathetic over someone not so important huh?” pointed Sukuna without containing his irritation at all.
“Shut up! I already answer your question, so let me go now!” shouted the brat as he tried to get away from Sukuna grabs again.
Sukuna tightening his grabs quickly and the brat immediately growling at Sukuna in warning. His alpha and Sukuna himself definitely won’t have that, so he growling back at the brat to make him submit. The brat didn’t back off and keep growling, louder this time. As a reply Sukuna give a much louder growl and also using his scent to overpowering the brat. It was the first time Sukuna ever used his own scent to try subduing someone. Usually, his mere growl as a prime alpha will quick makes everyone submit. Only Yuuji manage to push him this far. Even so, the brat still didn’t back down and tried to resort in violence. But before any punches can land on Sukuna, he quickly caught both of the brat’s wrists and pin him on the road while still growling back.
At that time, Yuuji finally stopped growling and showed a surprised expression before quickly it turned into a low whimper. Sukuna barely registering Yuuji is baring his neck as a submission act as he still caught up by the whimper. It was… the whimper… it was like the one Omega used… but Yuuji is a beta as far as Sukuna know and he could even be an alpha for the way he acted.
It seems Sukuna is too caught up in his surprise to loosened his grip around Yuuji’s wrists because the brat quickly got away from Sukuna. At first, he thought Yuuji is going to run away, instead he reached inside his bag and pull out something. It was something big wrapped neatly in pink wrapper and was directed at Sukuna.
“I… I wanted to gift this to you, but you already accept–”
Sukuna doesn’t let the brat finishing and quickly snatching the gift on his hand. Tearing apart the wrapper without care, Sukuna finally found out what it’s the brat wanted to gift him. He stared at the thing on his hands for a second. A neatly knitted red scarf inside a concealed plastic bag. A high-quality concealed plastic bag used to keep a scent of scented stuff still fresh and preventing it from getting the scent disappear.
“No, wait! Senpai!” Yuuji tried to snatch the scarf, but Sukuna pulled it away from Yuuji reach while processing to open the concealed plastic bag.
The first thing Sukuna notice as soon as he opens the plastic bag is the scent of Omega. Not the usual omega, but a prime omega. His alpha somehow practically howling in delight to smell such a scent of prime omega. Sukuna never smells a scent of prime Omega for how rare they are. Omega has the smallest population in the world, not to mention only 5 precents of them come out as a prime omega. They even rarer than prime alpha. Even so, his brain quickly recognized it from just a mere whiff of it.
The second thing Sukuna notice after opened the plastic bag is how the brat seemed flustered and embarrassed for some reason. His face smeared blood that already looks like a mess with the extra salty tears from before is so red to the point reaching his ears and neck. It was when Sukuna put the dots together. The scent. The scent patches. The violence tendencies, but somehow still friendly and approachable.
“You’re a prime omega?” it was more of a statement than a question, but the brat just nodding his head while looking anywhere other than Sukuna.
It was all made senses now. All this time, Sukuna thought Yuuji was a beta because he got no scent and act like an alpha, so Sukuna decides to approached Yuuji like how an alpha usually did to a beta because he thought it will confuse Yuuji if he courts him like an alpha to omega. That’s why Yuuji doesn’t understand Sukuna tried to woo him this entire time. It was also explained Yuuji’s overall behavior. Prime omega is known to be an Omega who was only the worthy one can claim as a mate. It isn’t without reason at all.
Prime omega usually more violent and sometimes act dominant, unlike normal Omega. It was difficult to made prime omega submit even by a normal alpha for a prime Omega doesn’t have a qualm to resort into violence. Become a mate with a prime omega is viewed as a big achievement because not just it proves the superiority of someone, but also prime omega is known to be more fertile than any other omega and usually will produce so many pups.
For that reason alone, Sukuna’s alpha is howling in celebration for getting a gift from prime omega who is known to be very picky in choosing someone as their mate. Receiving a gift from Omega is viewed as a show of affection and considerate very normal thing as an omega is a very emotional creature, but receiving gift from prime Omega is a very big thing. Getting a gift from prime Omega is viewed as an act of acceptance, trust, and respect. They aren’t known to giving gift so easily, only certain individual gets to earn a gift from prime omega despite how social they’re. Usually, only someone prime omega considerate as family, pack, and respected persons is worthy to receive a gift from them.
But the give Sukuna receive isn’t indicate all of that. The gift he receives has a clear intention of approval to Sukuna as a worthy alpha to court a prime Omega. While usually, alpha didn’t need any approval to court anyone they want, prime Omega is different. If an alpha decides to court them without the prime Omega approval, they will get beaten down. “Well, I need to get home before curfew. So, see you later, Senpai” said Yuuji before processing to walks away.
“What? Hey! Let me take you home!” shouted Sukuna in annoyance.
