    Ace is trying to not freak out, and Luffy, god love him, is not helping in any way. There’s a glittering, intense look in Luffy’s eyes as he stares up at Ace.

    Ace who is towering over his little, little brother.

    “Woooooah!!! You grew!! Like so much!”

    Ace gives himself a distasteful once over. It doesn’t hurt, the growing, but it is definitely a weird perspective now. He’s nearly tall enough for his head to reach the top of the trees that line the edge of the beach. Luffy’s head just barely reaches his hip.
