   Summary

   Darkness. For as long as Dipper Pines could remember, that’s how his dreams started. When he turned 15 he started going to therapy after he kept having horrific flashbacks and panic attacks about the summer he turned 13. While it was the best summer he had experienced, it was almost the most traumatizing. Between watching his great uncle being frozen as a statue, nearly being murdered (on several occasions), seeing a creature become HIM and then tell him how he was going to die, having to save his sister from a mind prison, and a whole lot more, there was quite a bit to unpack there. Then the screams accompanied the darkness.

   The Pines twins are back in Gravity Falls for their last summer before they head off to college. Adventure comes naturally to the two, apparently so do dream demons and nightmares
