Penguin awoke with a start, his eyes darting around the unfamiliar surroundings. A sense of disorientation washed over him. Panic surged inside of him when he realized he wasn't in his bed but seemed to be lying on the desk in the Captain’s office. A chilling thought crossed his mind: had his captain decapitated him overnight and left his head on the desk?
As he attempted and failed to move from his position, a peculiar crunching sound from beneath the desk caught his attention. Confusion took hold of him as he peered down and saw his own body sprawled on the floor, chowing down on a lettuce leaf. The surreal sight left him dumbfounded.
Questions raced through Penguin's mind, but one loomed larger than the rest: If his entire body, head and all, lay on the ground, then where was he? Suddenly, a series of vibrations rippled through his body, accompanied by a deafening ring echoing inside of his head.
"Oh no.", Penguin thought to himself in dread, the realization hitting him like a ton of bricks.
Involuntarily, he opened his mouth and words came out. "Good morning, Pen! Who knew your head had such excellent reception?" Law's voice's came from somewhere inside of him.
His cruel captain had swapped his consciousness with that of a Den Den Mushi...
