Summary
Basically just a my in depth retelling of some of the beginning scenes as the dark urge origin character simply because it was fun, and I needed to finish writing something and post it, so pretty self-indulgent and rough around the edges (hopefully it'll bring a little joy though for someone).

Your body lurches free from the slimy tentacled nautiloid pod, knees scuffing mercilessly against the veiny bat-wing-like floors–they're scorched and splattered with blood, mirroring your face.
Blinking blearily, trying to take in your surroundings, you manage to stumble up, only to be thwarted by a sudden stabbing pain and squirming writing behind your eyes. You squeeze your eyes shut and breathe harshly through your nose until the headache lulls into a dull throbbing, but now that you can think almost clearly, you're assaulted by questions, so many where, how's, and why's, all swamped by this utter void of answers.- Language:
