Namjoon stops tapping his pen when he reads the name of his next patient. A soft smile appears on his face when he's imagining the familiar beautiful face.
"Call Kim Seokjin." Namjoon orders the nurse.
She lets out a meaningful smile and calls the man through the door.
Seokjin comes not for long later, tapping his stick on the floor so he won't hit anything.
As an ophthalmologist, it's Namjoon's duty to check Seokjin's eyes once a week to make sure the older male's eyes are in good condition for the upcoming transplantation surgery.
Somewhere during time, though, they catch themselves involved in unexpected romantic relationship. Mainly, because Namjoon falls in love with Seokjin's personality.
He never expected that Seokjin would say yes though, but when he did, Namjoon lost his words for good and planted their first kiss on Seokjin's lips instead.
"Good afternoon, Hyung." Namjoon greets. They've gone too much comfort for the familiar call by now.
"Good afternoon, dr. Kim." Seokjin chuckles.
"Don't tease me!" Namjoon playfully warns.
"Okay! Okay!" Seokjin laughs now, "Good afternoon, Namjoon."
"Let see." Namjoon picks Seokjin's recent medical record and hums approvingly, "Your eyes are in a good condition. Let me check further."
The older male hums and puts off his sunglasses off.
Seokjin has a pair of beautiful eyes, Namjoon thinks, they're glistening prettily under the light, looking so distant, yet beautiful nonetheless.
Carefully, Namjoon tucks Seokjin's chin between his fingers and checks the eyes. They go to one of the machines after that to take further track of Seokjin's eyes.
"They're healthy enough for your surgery." Namjoon announces and writes it down on Seokjin's file, "Is there anything else I can do for you, Hyung?"
Seokjin shakes his head and raises his hand up, blindly reaching for Namjoon's face.
"I can't wait to see your face." Seokjin whispers.
Namjoon chuckles and leans to Seokjin's hand, "I can't wait for it either. Just don't break me up when you see how ugly I am."
Seokjin scrunches his face, "Hmm, I can't promise you that."
"Hey!"
"I'm just kidding!" Seokjin laughs and reaches to blindly swipe his thumb over Namjoon's lips. Namjoon takes it as cue to leave a chaste kiss on Seokjin's plump lips.
"I love you, Hyung." Namjoon sighs over their kiss.
"Love you too, Namjoon." Seokjin whispers and leaves another kiss before leaning away.
Namjoon looks at the nurse whom pretending not to see anything by staring at the door blushingly and chuckles.
"Ms. Lee, please guide Mr. Kim to the door."
"It's Seokjin for you." The older male launches a hit to Namjoon's shoulder but misses it by an inch.
Namjoon chuckles and covers Seokjin's fist in his hand, "See you on your surgery day, Hyung."
Seokjin smiles and nods, "See you, Namjoon."
And the door of Namjoon's room closes once again.
