Stay

Summary:

Missing Scene = Unending. Daniel watches Vala dressing to leave his room..

Work Text:

~0i0~

As Vala dressed to leave, Daniel watched her from the bed. He knew he wore a lopsided goofy smile, like a teen with his first puppy love crush. In the past two weeks since that first time, there wasn't a day that they hadn't made love.

Vala fought the urge to turn her back to him wondering how he could make her so suddenly shy.

She slipped into her shirt, her sight set on Daniel laying there watching thinking how she finally understood what Sam meant when she talked about Jack… 'he's just so … so hot…' That's what Daniel was to her…

While she dressed, her eyes wandered the playground of Daniel's body. The white sheet rested below his waist and from there her eyes took in the rise and fall of his chest, the definition of muscled arms, one half hidden under his pillow, and his handsome face. Her gaze landed on those incredible eyes.

He was smiling, adorable, and she knew she was in love with him.

Still tinged with passion, Daniel's voice seemed to beg, "Don't leave."

"Daniel? Everyone will be waking up soon."

"I think you should stay."

With a lovely, happy smile she asked, "Stay?"

"Yeah, for two reasons."

"Oh?"

"The first being that it's time you moved in here with me."

Eyes wide she hesitated a moment to let that sink in, then questioned, "And the second?"

“Because I love you, I don't care what the others think, and actually there are three reasons....” Daniel pulled his arm out from under the pillow to reveal the pink handcuffs, one part hanging empty the other still attached to his wrist and the bed.

The smile that spread like wild fire across her face matched his. As she peeled layers of clothing off her footsteps took her back to the man she loved. “I love you, too.” She whispered crawling onto the bed she straddled his hips, leaned forward, and grasped his loose arm. “Now, where were we?”
