One winter night in New York City, where everyone is fast asleep, Donnie and Raph exits the sewers and walk along the empty of it for a few minutes.
Until they reached a park that seems perfect for the two of them.
And that was when Donnie turns his focus towards Raph.
“So Raph. Are you ready for the thing we always do every year?” Donnie asked.
“Yeah, as I even brought in a special guest who’s going to help us with it.” Raph replied as he removes a bag that was on his bag and puts his hand in it.
“Special guest? What special guest?” Donnie asked again as he is confused by what Raphael just said.
“My child, Chompy!” Raphael said cheerfully as he pulls the baby alien turtle out of the bag.
Seeing this causes Donnie to become really shocked about it. As sure, Chompy is from another planet. But he doesn’t know if the snow will kill him or not?
“Uh Raph? Maybe it would be a good idea to put Chompy back inside the back. So we wouldn’t risk him getting a frostbite.” Donnie said to Raphael.
“Come on Donnie, he has a little wooly hat on his head and a warm scarf too.” Raphael begged as he show the purple banded turtle what he means.
Looks like he has no choice but to comply.
“Fine Raph. He can come with us.” Donnie said with a sigh.
“Oh thank you!” Raph said happily as Chompy also copies his happy expression.
And so with that out of the way, they start walking to an area of the park with a frozen lake in the middle.

It turns out, they were actually building a snowman together.
With Donnie making the body of it by rolling up huge snowballs while Raphael and Chompy go and collect some rocks and sticks for the body parts and facial parts for it.
So after that, they were done with the snowman and oh boy does it look really cool to them, especially since Raph gets to be the one who puts the hat ontop of the snowman.
and ocne it’s fully completed, they look at it with proudness in their face.
“Well Donnie. Looks like we done it. Another Year, Another snowman.” Raph said to Donnie.
“Yeah. And it looks even better then what it used to look like last year.” Donnie said back.
Raphael then looks at Chompy and he can tell that he’s getting confused about why this snowman is so special to the two of them.
“Your confused huh? Well you see ever since we were little, Me and Don used to sneak out of the lair and onto the empty streets of New York City. And when we reached this park, the first thing we do is find an area for our snowman.” Raphael said to the baby alien turtle.
“He’s right. And once we do, we start building our snowman and let one of us place the hat ontop of it. And the reason why it’s special to us is because as twins, we always look at each other like we’re a duo.” Donnie said.
After looking at the snowman later Donnie taps on Raph’s shoulder.
“Hey Raph, wanna go play hockey on the frozen lake?” Donnie asked.
“Uh, sure. Even though it would’ve been better if Casey was with us. But too bad he’s still asleep.” Raphael replied.
But before they step foot onto the lake suddenly they hear the snowman’s stone mouth moving on it’s own.
They were confused about what’s going on. It might just be their imagination or something. But it was too real to see if it was their imagination so they take a closer look.
“You seeing anything move Don?” Raph asked.
“I don’t know. I’m not sure if snowmen can move on their own.” Donnie replied.
Only for the Snowman’s head to get decapitated. Which causes the two of them to scream in terror.
“Holy Shit! Our snowman!” Raphael screamed.
“What kind of invisible monster decapitated our snowman’s head?” Donnie said angrily.
But then they see the snowman move once more so they take a closer look.
Until suddenly a worm like parasite shoots up from the snowman and starts to hiss at them.
And seeing this causes Raph to freeze up in terror

It was a brain worm.
The one that was used by The Shredder to mind control people by having these things go inside their nose and into their brains.
Raphael knew it would be a brain worm, due to the fact that he was already infected by one.
And so just like that it leaps towards him. Se Emily to control him again.
But suddenly Donnie pushes his twin brother out of the way causing both Raphael and Chompy to fall onto the snowy ground.
And Donnie to get hit by the brain worm and have it go up his nose. Which is disgusting to see.
“Donnie!” Raphael screamed as he realised what just happened.
He sees the purple banded turtle succumbing to the parasite’s control as it reaches his brain.
Then suddenly he stands up from the ground and goes silent for a moment.
“Donnie? You ok bud? Hello?” Raphael asked as he he walks towards him.
That was when Donnie turned around and looked at Raphael with his pupils going full white.
Seeing Donnie like this really freaked Raphael out. And things were going to get much worse as we speak.
“Oh well hello there Raphael? Sorry that I had to scare you there pal? Didn’t want you to be a scaredy cat.” Donnie said strangely.
While he was confused about Donnie speaking in that tone, him calling the red banded turtle a scaredy cat really pissed him off.
“What the fuck did you just say to me?” Raphael said angrily.
“Ooh, I see that you are a feisty one, well how about this. We fight and we’ll see if you can get the worm out of my brain.” Donnie said in a weird tone again.
“Unless your a…”
“Chicken?”
Hearing him say that causes Raph to be extremely angry about this. He couldn’t believe that the worm is making Donnie say all those nasty things.
“Oh yeah parasitic bitch? I’m not gonna let you use Donnie like that. So bring it!” Raphael said angrily as the pupils in his eyes becomes fully white.
So after Raphael puts Chompy down on the ground, he pulls out his sais from his belt and charges Donnie with it.
Meaning that the battle between the brains and the brawn commences.

Raphael didn’t know what he was doing which makes sense since he is now blinded by rage. But all he cared about was freeing Donnie from this pesky worm’s control.
And no matter how many times he tried to hit him with his sais, Donnie always blocked the attacks with his Bo-staff.
“Wow, you fight like a baby.” Donnie said.
“Stop that! I do not!” Raphael said angrily.
And he continues to do this until Donnie lands a blow on him, which causes Raph to get knocked back and get sent onto the frozen lake.
After he gets up on his feet he sees that Donnie is running towards him meaning that the battle is far from over.
What was he going to do? Donnie’s under that brain worm’s control and is trying to kill him.
Think Raphael think. What would Mikey do?
No, wait. What would Leo do?
He remembered how the leader was able to help him get the brain worm out of him. And so has an idea that might work.
“You know Donnie, if I fight like a baby, maybe that means you fight like a dumb infant.” Raphael said to Donnie.
“What? No, I’m the only one who should be insulting you!” Donnie said angrily.
“Oh sorry that I had to insult you. I didn’t mean to turn into such of a whiny bitch!” Raphael said again.
“Stop it! That’s it!” Donnie said angrily.
Until he tackles Raphael, which sends them both into the frozen lake.
And it appears that Donnie is about to drive his Bo-staff onto Raphael’s face.
But before Raphael can fight back, suddenly the ice beneath them gives way and causes the both of them to fall into the ice below.
Much to the shock and worry-ness of Chompy, who just witnessed the whole thing.
But that didn’t stop them from continuing the fight.

When they were underwater, Donnie and Raphael still attacking each other. But that didn’t stop Raphael from doing something about this.
So just before Donnie was about to attack him again, suddenly Raphael {still being blinded by rage} uses his foot and kicks his twin brother in the stomach.
This was enough for Donnie to release all of the air he had and started to inhale a lot of water.
But thankfully it worked as when he tried to cough it out this causes the brain worm to come out of his mouth and before it can latch itself onto either Donnie or him again, Raphael stabs it with his sais.
“This is for controlling me and my twin you filing parasite.” He thought.
But just before he swims back to the surface, he realised that because of what he did.
Donnie is now drowning and is now blacking out.
So he looks down and sees that it was true.
As Donnie stopped moving and began to sink into the ground.
“Donnie!”
Raphael then swims towards his twin brother in a faster pace while fearing that he might not see him again.
But luckily he was able to grab him before Donnie could sink onto the ground.
And then he starts to swim back but in a faster pace.
As Raphael himself was starting to run out of air as his lungs were burning.
But thankfully the hole hasn’t been frozen over much to his relief.
So just like that Raphael and Donnie both swims to the surface where the red banded turtle started to breathes heavily.
And to add some bonus points, he sees that Chompy was waiting for them with a scared and worried look on his face.
“Sorry I scared you like that. I had to save my brother from what was happening down there.” Raphael sad to the baby alien turtle.
But not before he climbs himself and Donnie out of the freezing water and onto the ground.
But was now worried because Donnie’s still not moving and is not breathing.
“Donnie. Donnie. Come on bro, wake up. I can’t lose you like dad too!” Raphael said worriedly as he tried to shake his twin brother’s unmoving body.
He thought it was the end.
That Donnie might actually be dead.

Until thankfully a miracle happened.
As when Raphael puts 2 finger onto Donnie’s neck.
He found out that there was actually a pulse.
As even though it was faint, it was still there. This made him very relived to hear and very happy to see that his brother is still alive.
But barely as he’s still not breathing. So he tries to think of a way to get him to breathe again.
And that was when he remembered something from Leo.
“Wait a minute. I think I remember Leo doing this a long time ago. What was it called again? Oh yeah CPR. {takes a deep breathe} let’s see if I remember how it goes.” Raphael said to himself.
So after he cracks his knuckles, Raphael begins the first portion of this method which is the chest compressions.
He pushed on Donnie’s chest for about 30 times and despite it being hard to do because of their plastrons and the fact that it didn’t caused Donnie to immedianlty wake up, Raphael keeps on doing it.
Then after he’s done, it was time for the mouth to mouth portion of this method.
Which makes him sick to the bone. But it has to be worth it for Donnie’s sake.
“Please don’t remember this Donnie.” Raphael said to himself disgustedly.
And so he breathes air into the purple banded turtle’s lung for about 5 times. But after doing that Donnie still didn’t breathe.
So he repeats the cycle again, hoping that one of the rounds he’s going to be doing will hopefully get Donnie to breathe.
Until eventually after 5 rounds, he feels something vibrating in Donnie’s chest. And suddenly this causes Donnie to wake up and gasp for air.
But not before he starts coughing up a lot of water.
Dang, it looked like he inhaled a lot of water when they were under the ice.
But who cares, as Raphael was so glad that his twin brother is ok now.
And it didn’t take long for Donnie to stop coughing and start breathing for air and it took a few seconds for his vision to return and look at Raphael.
“Raph? What happened?” Donnie asked.
“Well it’s a long story. But you were infected by that brain worm who tried to use you to attack me, but luckily I was able to kill it but at the cost of you nearly drowning. But fortunately thanks to Leo’s knowledge of being the medic I was able to get you to breathe again.” Raphael replied.
“Really? Well thanks Raph.” Donnie said but not before Raph helps him up.
And once he does they see that the snowman they built is still decapitated. Much to Raph’s annoyance.
“It’s ok Raphael, we can fix it by making it’s head again.” Donnie said to Raphael.
“You mean it?” Raphael asked.
To which Donnie replies with a nod meaning yes.
“Ok, but after we get some rest. Because oh boy did that battle caused us to both be tired.” Raphael said.
“Yeah, your right. I think we should rest for a little bit.” Donnie said.
So they sit on the ground and rest for a minute or 2.
Until after that it was time for them to rebuild the special snowman together.

After they were done finding what they need for the snowman’s head, they place it on the body and put the hat back on it’s head.
Now it was truly indeed special for the two of them to see.
And despite the special event taking a dark turn with that brain worm.
Raphael had to admit that it was fun doing it with his twin and the baby alien turtle that he’s now raising.
And after a few minutes of looking at it later, they take down the snowman.
And they all head back home to the lair.
With Raphael and Donatello being happy that they still do this event as twins.
