Stratosfear was painfully aware of who had been (for the most part), who he had become, and why he was here. His mind never let him forget the stuff he wanted to.
He slept a lot in this place, not just to pass the time but because he had to.
He had nightmares or nothing when he did. Nightmares sucked. Plain and simple. Worse than being awake by far, which was impressive.
The dreams of nothing, however, were odd.
He didn't want to sleep so much here, but…
…Why did he always feel better after those dreams he couldn't remember?

As the bullet collides with Leo’s right bicep in what feels like slow motion, for some reason all he has the ability to think is that it looks sort of…strange. Strange, because as it plunges into his skin, it injects not glowing blue, but…purple. If it is a de-mutanizer, it’s a different color than he remembers.
The shock of it makes him stumble. Deep in his core, he feels the chemical begin to force him to change.
“What did you do to me?” He says, eyes going blurry as he sinks to his knees. He can feel his bones rearranging beneath his skin, he feels his body shrink in on itself as he becomes smaller. He feels weaker. “What did you do?” He can barely look at Kendra, but his eyes find her and she’s smiling in a sickening way.
“I fixed you, freak. You’re human.”
AKA: leo gets turned into a human and doesn't like it.
