Chapter Text

Hello and welcome to the craziness that comes from my brain. If you have read anything from me before then you know the drill. I do not own anything related to the TVD universe.

Now down to the nitty gritty as there will be some bashing now I would love to state that I do not hate anyone character or actor. I just am not the biggest of the storylines that they were given.

Also the timeline for this story is pushed forward a bit meaning when Klaus came to town was during season 2 at the end of the year came back to Mystic Falls around August undaggerd his family told them the truth about everything how their father is dead and while all of this happened Elena did get it to a car accident but she gave blood the day before at the hospital got dizzy, Damon gave her blood then so on and so forth.

“That is completely useless.” Caroline yelled towards Damon “It’s not useless, it could work. Blondie you just have to play a pretty distraction.” Damon argued back. The argument was over killing Klaus since it would be easier to kill him now that Elena was a vampire. “So everyone else puts their life on the line while Elena, your brother, and you sit in the back shooting commands at everyone.” Bonnie spoke exasperated. Stefan just stood off to the side. “Bonnie it’s not like that” Elena said trying to calm her friend's fury “So what do you think of the plan Elena? You sit back while your friends put their lives on the line to kill an IMMORTAL hybrid and his IMMORTAL siblings.” Caroline emphasized her word on immortal “Elena thinks it's a good plan right Elena?” Damon spoke at Caroline not listening to a word she was saying. Elene looked caught like she wanted to disagree with Damon but couldn't. Caroline and Bonnie caught on to this, shared a look then spoke “You know what this is useless like the plan because you don’t listen to anyone but yourself. Caroline said, looking at Damon. As Caroline and Bonnie were about to walk out Elena looked at them wanting to go with them but it was almost like she couldn’t move.

About 20 minutes later

Bonnie and Caroline sat at Carolines kitchen table “Hey Bon did you see Elena before we left it was like she was trying to come with us but couldn’t.” Caroline asked her friend as she was peeling an apple to make apple pie. “Yeah I did, it looked like she was in trance when trying to speak against Damon too.” Bonnie said as she was helping Caroline peel the apples.

“Do you think Damon blood did something to her when she turned? It was his blood that turned her.” Caroline spoke as a suggestion. Bonnie shrugs, saying maybe “We can’t know for sure though we could talk to someone who has more experience.” Bonnie said, Caroline snickered “Who are we going to ask Stefan he’ll just go tell Damon, We can’t ask Damon he’ll just be an ass. We are not the Mikaelsons favorite people and before you say anything I am not asking Klaus he’ll want something in return for the information.” Caroline spoke running through the options “True but then we have no one else.” Bonnie thinks for a moment “We could try Rebekah. She hates Damon and is willing to do anything to make his life miserable.” Bonnie giggled out.

Caroline giggled with her friend “I mean it could work, she’s coming here today anyway.” Caroline admitted. Bonnie turned to face Caroline “Why is she coming here?” Bonnie yelped. Caroline’s face turned guilty “She asked if I could help her with Miss Mystic since she wants to enter.” Caroline explained. Caroline knew her friend would be mad at her for keeping a secret about meeting with an original “Why didn’t you say anything? Care I’m not mad, just confused, She’s an original, why would she want to enter Miss Mystic?” Bonnie questioned. Caroline blew a breath out Bonnie wasn’t mad. “Rebekah said she never really got to live as a teenage girl so now that her family is in a semi-stable place she wants to try to be a teenage girl if it’s just for a little while.” Caroline answered. As Bonnie was going to speak there was a knock at the door “Coming.” Caroline yelled as she got up open to the door. When she got the door open Rebekah was there with a slight smile on her face “Hey Rebekah come on in Bonnie and I are finishing up peeling apples.” Caroline said as she stepped out of the way to let Rebekah in (Rebekah was invited in by Liz when she came over to ask Caroline for help with Miss Mystic) “Thanks for helping me I know I am not your favorite person.” Rebekah said as she walked into the hallway. “Hey Rebekah,” Bonnie said as she got up for her seat at the table. “Hello Bonnie” Rebekah greeted. “Before we get started I have a question, Can the blood for the vampire that turned you affect the way you act?” Caroline asks Rebekah as the three girls went to sit in the living room. “Not that I know of, Why?” Rebekah responded “We were having an argument with Damon and when we asked Elena anything she looked like she couldn’t speak her mind but could only just agree with what Damon said.” Bonnie explained. Rebekah looked inquisitive. “It could be one thing but I would have to look at some grimoires to see if I’m right.” Rebekah spoked after a minute.

Bonnie got up and went outside and came back with five grimoires, “I have more in my car but this was all I could carry.” Bonnie huffed as she set the grimoires down on the table in front of them. Rebekah looked at Bonnie for a moment and asked “Where did you get all of these grimoires?” Bonnie looked down guilty “Your brother brought a father and son to town to get the moonstone and in the end both ended up dead.” Bonnie spoke in a small voice. “I’m so sorry that is the way you came to have all of these, I’ll yell at Nik when I get home.” Rebekah said with sincerity in her voice. “ It wasn’t Klaus who brought them to town, it was Elijah trying to get in Klaus’ good graces, however the reason they volunteered was because Klaus had the daughter of the family as a witch in his employ.” Caroline explained. Rebekah looked down, pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed “I’ll berate my brothers when I get home.” Rebekah huffed, cursing her brother under her breath. Bonnie and Caroline laughed at the display, Rebekah looked up at them “What’s funny?” Caroline calmed down first “It’s just to see you acting like a little sister easily.” The three girls looked at each other then broke out into laughter. After the laughing died down they went into looking for a reason why Elena was acting weird.

During the meeting at Caroline’s house

Elena went to the grill to get some food for her dinner. Everything kind of went by in a blur when Elena got her food she looked at what she got and realized she ordered what Damon likes and not what she usually gets at the grill. ‘What’s wrong with me lately’ Elena thought to herself.

Elena didn’t even like what Damon eats at the grill. Damon’s order consists of a medium rare burger with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Elena hates onions, mushrooms, and jalapenos. She could pick them off but the taste would still linger on the burger, since she's been more picky with what she eats as she gets used to her taste buds again as a vampire. Thankfully Matt was at the grill working today so she waved him over “Matt I’m so sorry but my mind has been acting weird today could I possibly get a different burger I ordered the wrong thing.” Elena asked one of her longest friends with a small voice and guilty expression on her face. Matt looked at her with a caring look “I know these last couple of days have been hard but change or no change you still need sleep I can see the dark circles under your eyes.” Matt said he took her plate and patted her on the head. “Thank you Matt It's just been difficult adjusting, Thanks for being a good friend.” Elena said she looked up at him with a smile. Matt returned the smile then went to get her food fixed for her. ‘Maybe a good night's sleep is what I need.’ Elena thought as she got her food back with the right order.

Okay long chapter done. I thought I was going to have to split into two parts but I think that a long first chapter is a good way to start a new story.

The week before the homecoming dance the girls went dress shopping, Caroline invited Rebekah to come dress shopping. Bonnie was fine with Rebekah coming with them although Elena was very confused as to why the original sister was coming with to go dress shopping but ultimately was fine with Rebekah coming with. “Okay so just pick out dresses and meet back here in five minutes” Caroline said at the front of the biggest dress store in Richmond.

20 minutes later

It took more than five minutes to find dresses due to everything being in complete disarray, all the girls came back with three dresses each, as they head to the changing rooms they spot Stefan and Damon across the street at a small cafe “Seriously can’t we go one day without men sticking their noses where they don’t belong” Caroline said exasperated. The three other girls follow her line of sight and see the Salvatore brothers across the way, Damon waving at the girls. Bonnie puts on a fake smile and begins to wave back but flips Damon off with a flat expression. They four giggle at Bonnie’s actions and continue back to the changing rooms. They go into four separate changing rooms and begin to try on dresses. After they put the first ones on to speak to each other through the walls “I think we should come out at the same time and give our opinions at the same time.” Caroline suggested. The other girls agreed to the suggestion that Caroline gave, they came out in the first dresses

Elena came out in a light yellow dress that came down to about mid thigh and had a longer piece of fabric in the back

Rebekah came out in a black dress with pink roses down the side the dress came just past her knee

Caroline came out in a short jean blue with gold and pink flowers scattered on the dress

Bonnie came out in a short light green dress with pink and white flower on the top

The four girls shared a look then said “No” so they went back in to change into the second dresses “Isn’t it funny we all came in flower dresses” Elena spoke “Did we I thought Rebekah’s was just black.” Caroline said while fumbling with clothes “It had pink roses on the side.” Rebekah responded as the four once again stepped out to show the dresses

Bonnie came out in as dark emerald green body con dress that came to mid thigh that had a slight v neck

Caroline came out in light sky blue dress that came to about mid thigh that flowers at the hem and up near the chest

Rebekah came out in a black long sleeve body con dress that came mid thigh with ties at the end

Elena came out in a short pale yellow dress with silver stars in the dress

All the girls looked at each other then Rebekah spoke “Okay Caroline you shouldn’t wear this dress to homecoming but you should buy it, It’s very ‘Caroline’.” Elena and Bonnie agreed “I figured that whether or not I wear this dress to homecoming I’m still buying it.” Caroline agreed as she did a little twirl. “Bonnie, you look a little uncomfortable in the dress there.” Elena said to her friend “I am, the lady who helped me find my size said I should try this on and I’m not a very big fan.” Bonnie huffed as she bent over in the dress almost trying to hide. And all the girls looked at Elena and Rebekah, and came to the decision to not get those dresses. So for the last time the girl went into the changing rooms and changed into the last dress thay had.

Caroline came out in a dark baby blue sleeveless dress that came to mid thigh that had silver sequin on the bodice

Bonnie had come out in a forest green dress that was off the shoulder with a small vine pattern

Elena came out in a gold yellow dress that was sleeveless with a sparkly branch like design on it

Rebekah came out in a long sleeve belted short black dress with orange teal flowers all over it

They all looked at each other and came to the silent agreement that these are the dresses that they would wear to homecoming on friday night. As the girls went to p[ay Rebekah spoke up “Thank you for inviting me to go dress shopping like a normal teenage girl. I never really had any real girlfriends to hang out with.” Rebekah looked at the three childhood friends with happiness in her eyes as she put her card down to pay for all the dresses. The three other girls shouted that they would pay for their own dresses. Rebekah gave them a look “It’s not my card it’s Nik’s so technically I’m not paying my brother is.” Rebekah giggled out. The four walked out of the dress shop giggling.

Later that night

“So you and the original Barbie seem close Elena.” Damon snarked out. Elena looked down with guilt “I just went dress shopping with her, Caroline and Bonnie. It wasn’t something big.” Elena explained to Damon. “What makes you think it was just shopping? Huh, She's evil and a conniving bitch.” Damon spat out “She’s no--” Elena’s voice cut out. Elena became frustrated that her voice cut out; she didn’t know why she couldn’t speak against Damon. “I’m tired, I’m going home for the night. Good Night Damon.”

Before Damon could say anything to make her stay at the boarding house Elena ran out of there to Caroline’s house where Caroline, Bonnie and Rebekah were. She rushes into Caroline’s house and all three girls in the house stand “Something is wrong with me” Elena says the first thing out of her mouth while wearing an extremely panicked expression “Ever since I transitioned-” She pauses for a breath “I can’t say no or do anything against Damon. It's really pissing me off and I don’t know why.” Elena gets out to her friends. The three girls share a look and then Bonnie speaks “ We know. Before you get mad all we wanted to do before telling you was to find out what was going on.” Elena's face turns into one of confusion, Bonnie continues “When Rebekah came over to Care’s the other day we brought it up to her to see if someone who has more experience could help.” Rebekah speaks after Bonnie “I figured it could be one thing but since you were working against your body I originally thought it wasn’t that. It happens to turn out I was wrong; Elena since Damon’s blood turned you are sired to him.” Rebekah finished.

Cliffhanger!
Sorry not sorry. The real homecoming chapter will be split in only two chapters. That is my plan for now if that changes you will know.

“Elena since Damon’s blood turned you are sired to him.” Rebekah finishes. “But the only way you could be sired is if you had strong feelings to begin with.” Caroline adds. Elena is in a complete state of shock. “Elena?” Caroline speaks with concern in her voice. “Sired, how Tyler is sired to Klaus or is it something different.” Elena questioned. “With vampires the only reason we become sired to the one who turned us is with romantic feeling but with the way you’re acting Elena it could be something different. The only way I would know would be asking my brother.” Rebekah answered. Elena seemed to calm down after that. The three girls on the other side were waiting for their friend's reaction to asking Klaus for information. “Can you ask Klaus? I mean he may have more knowledge on the sire bond being the original hybrid.” Elena spoke after what felt like an hour but was only a few minutes. Caroline, Bonnie, and Rebekah all seemed very shocked at the ask, figuring Elena wouldn’t want anything to do with the hybrid. “Okay, we can ask Nik tomorrow and explain the situation.” Rebekah said thinking that would give the girl some time to process the new information. Elena had a different plan “No now. I need to know what’s wrong with me.” Elena states with no room for arguing. The girls were not expecting that answer, “Okay that’s fine we can go tonight. Let’s go get in the car.” Bonnie said not trying to upset her friend who had tears brimming in her eyes.

15 Minutes later

The four girls arrive at the Mikaelson mansion. The enter since Rebekah had her key “NIK GET YOUR ARSE DOWN HERE” Rebekah yelled for her brother. Within a split second Klaus was there surprised to see more than his little sister “Ladies, Little sister how can I help you?” Klaus said trying to be cordial to the Bennett witch, Caroline, and newly turned doppelganger. “I’m sired to Damon.” was all Elena said before the rest of the Mikaelsons entered the foyer of their home. Everyone froze at the forwardness of Elena in the moment. “Well that gets the most difficult part out of the way. Bonnie and I noticed sometime last week when in the midst of an argument.” Caroline explained to the Mikaelsons. “I thought at first since I thought that I was just getting used to the change but when arguing with Damon tonight my voice completely cut off before I could speak my mind.” Elena explained more of what has been going on with her. Klaus, being the first one to bounce back after the bomb that was dropped, asked “What were your feeling for the elder Salvatore before you turned?” Elena thought for a moment then answered “Honestly after a few situations I ended up only seeing him as a friend and Stefan’s older brother since I was still dating Stefan at the time.”

Klaus shook his head in understanding as Elena finished her explanation. “It doesn’t seem like a normal vampire sire bond. Since you seem to not have any real feelings for the elder Salvatore, it may be your vampire body reacting to your sires presence, it should pass in a few days.” Klaus said after pulling a grimoire out from a bookshelf nearby. “If it doesn’t pass, tell my sister, in the meantime I’ll do some research to see if this has ever affected any other vampires.” Klaus finished closing the grimoire and placing it back in its spot. “Wait, Nik you don’t even know if another person has ever been affected like this before?” Rebekah said, almost scolding her brother. Klaus sighed then answered “I’ve only ever seen this in my hybrids and not vampires.”

Rebekah seemed to understand what her brother ment now with an explanation. Elijah spoke up “I am confused as to how our sister got involved in this in the first place.” Kol chimed in almost immediately “Oh Lijah I can answer that, our dear sister wants to be a teenage girl. She asked Care Bear here to help her with the Miss Mystic pageant and today the four of them went dress shopping for the homecoming dance this friday.”

The formentions girls looked at Kol like he had two heads. “How do you know we went dress shopping?” Bonnie asked at the same time Caroline said “Don’t call me that.” Rebekah looked at her brother with fury in her eyes “Were you following me? And so what if I want to be a teenage girl? Nik and Elijah told us to blend in.” She practically screamed at her brother. Klaus then looked at his sister “Is that why I got a notification from my card?” Rebekah looked at her older brother and shook her head, Klaus then shouted “WHAT WERE YOU GETTING THAT COSTED ALMOST A THOUSAND DOLLARS!” The other three girls looked at Rebekah, then all at once said “It costed HOW much?” Rebekah just said “All of you invited me to do something I would have had to do by myself so I repaid you by paying for the dresses. Also it only cost $880 for all the dresses.” Klaus is still reeling in the background while Kol is laughing his ass off Elijah is trying to calm his brother.

Just as Klaus is about to yell again Finn walks in the door (Didn’t think you’d see him now did ya) “What is with all the yelling? I heard you all the way down the driveway.” Finn asked as he closed the door. “Apparently our little sister took Nik’s card and bought herself and her friends dresses that costed $1000.” Kol replied to his eldest brother while trying to catch his breath from laughing so hard and in the end failing. “It only cost $880. And he has more money than I do and I asked for his card.”Rebekah said, defending herself from her brothers. “You said you were only going to spend a max of $500. Rebekah, you spent almost $1000!” Klaus said once again almost popping a blood vessel. At that moment everyone Mikaelson or not burst out into laughter.

Friday morning at school

“Bekah we’re all getting ready at Caroline’s you should join us.” Bonnie says to Rebekah as she places her bag next to her desk in math. “Bekah?” she questions Bonnie. “Oh it’s a nickname, we all have one. I’m Bon, Elena’s Lena, Caroline’s Care. so you Bekah” Bonnie explained. “What’s going on?” Elena questions as she takes her seat in front of Rebekah. “I’m explaining the nickname system we have.” Bonnie answers. “Oh, yeah Bekah new nickname, never had one?” Elena asks “No, my family are the only people who have ever called me Bekah, it was different hearing it from someone else.” Rebekah said to her new found friends. The four girls had gotten closer over the week due to Elena needing to hide from Salvatore being extra pushy trying to find out why three out of the four girls have been avoiding them like the plague. “Okay tonight I’ll be there.”

Later that night at Caroline’s

“What kind of jewelry should I wear, silver or gold?” Elena asked, turning her head with a gold earring in one and silver in the other. “Gold. It will match your dress and heels.” Rebekah said as she finished curling the final piece of Caroline’s hair. All the girls are at Caroline’s getting ready for homecoming, getting hair and makeup done. “Hey Care, do you have any earrings I could borrow?” Bonnie asked her friend. “Yeah, there should be some in the jewelry box.” Caroline responds as she starts to help Elena with the braid in her hair. “Bon, could you help me with this?” Rebekah asked as Bonnie walked into the bathroom, Bonnie nodded and reached over to help Rebekah tie her hair.

(If I explained everything girls did getting ready we’d be here for hours, MOVING ON)

As the girls arrive at the school for Homecoming they spot Damon and Stefan approaching them “Well isn’t this a sight brother.” Damon snarked out. Before either of the brothers could get another word out Elena spoke up but only maintained eye contact with Stefan “The three of them have been helping me with my transition better than the two of you did.” Elena finished trying to keep her breathing steady. Damon looked at Elena “You’re being manipulated by them.” Damon once more stated snarky. The four girls shared a look that meant for Elena to try and talk against Damon. Elena shook her head “I’m no-” Elena voice gave out again, She looked to Stefan and spoke “I’m not being manipulated by anyone but you two.” Elena finished “Elena I want you to be the best vampire you can be.” Stefan said to her “Thank you for that Stefan, but with Care and Bekah teaching me I am doing well.” Elena spoke with a smile towards her friends. Damon looked offended that Elena was completely ignoring him, he tried reaching for her but Bonnie spoke up “Now that all of this has been handled we should go inside and enjoy Homecoming.” With that the four girls started moving towards the school doors but Damon moved in front of them not letting them pass.

“Mate, I think it’s best you let them pass.” Everyone turned around to see Klaus, Elijah, and Kol approaching. “So you’re having happy times with the entire original family.” Damon practically yelled. “Oh Damon, just shut up. Just because no one is listening to you doesn’t mean you get to throw a temper tantrum like a two year old.” Caroline huffed out. Everyone looked at her “What? I’m not wrong.” Caroline said flatly, crossing her arms. A crowd was now gathering at the door hearing the yelling, Noticing Elena spoke “Lets go inside there a crowd.” moving her head to motion at the doors. The four girls started walking away from the group, with deep breaths they headed through the doors.“I have a feeling that, whatever that was, is just the beginning tonight.” Caroline spoke as the girls got through the doors Bonnie and Rebekah nodded their heads in agreement. “Then we just need to keep our heads up, but for now let's just enjoy homecoming” Elena said as the four girls got to the gym with the dance already in full swing.

Okay that the first part done the second will be next. Hopefully the chapter after both of these homecoming chapters will be out soon or the same day. But again if there will be more chapters you will know.

One week before Homecoming

The Salvatore’s, Tyler, and Alaric met at the boarding house, “Elena has been avoiding everyone.” Damon starts as he pours himself a glass of bourbon “At school Bonnie. Caroline, and Elena have been hanging around Rebekah.” Alaric explains to the group. The group that has been gathered to talk about a plan that would get the original out of town or that would kill the entire original family. “They have to be being manipulated by Rebekah, probably part of her brother's plan.” Damon said, moving around to sit on the couch, The men nodded in agreement “So what’s your plan Damon?” Tyler questioned leaning more into the conversation happening on the couch. “Okay so here is the plan ………”

Three Days before Homecoming

Caroline was walking out of the sheriff station after having dinner with her mother who has been working late, Caroline was approached by Tyler, “Hey Care, long time no see.” Tyler said walking up to her with his hands in his pockets. Caroline looked shocked to see Tyler “Well you ran off after my dad died and with no goodbye I assumed you were never coming back and that we were over.” Caroline said, standing her ground clearly seeing through his approach. Tyler seemed shocked at her statement. “I left to break my sire bond, and I'm sorry about your dad. But I left assuming you’d wait for me.” Tyler explained reaching for her hand. Caroline pulled away from his reach. “You left, I was grieving my father and had no one to lean on, all but my mother.” Caroline said, trying to temper her angry. “Are you seeing someone else?” Tyler accused. Caroline looked exasperated. “Seriously? No I’m not, right now I’m focusing on me and keeping busy with friends. And no Tyler I do not want to get back together, I’m happy by myself now.” Caroline finished, then disappeared from sight. Tyler sighed, pulled out his phone.”Yeah, Damon she’s not gonna talk to me. We should move on.”

Friday Morning Day of Homecoming

Friday morning at school Tyler walked into math class. As he sat at the back of class he watched as Bonnie, Caroline, and Rebekah walked into class. He listened to the conversation. When Tyler heard Bonnie use the nickname Bekah he pulled out his phone and texted Damon. ‘The plan has to go into action tonight. All of them will be at homecoming.’ As soon as he sent that class started, as he went to put his phone away a text from Damon popped up ‘Good to know. We’ll show up first and see the playing field.’

Homecoming

“Did you know your brother would be here Bekah?” Caroline questioned her friend. The four girls found a small table to gather at for the time being. “I had no clue they’d show up. Nik and Kol made a joke about coming, but I honestly thought they wouldn’t come, especially Elijah.” Rebekah explained. The three girls shook their heads in understanding. “Well there could be a good reason for that.” Elena said. All eyes turned to Elena in question. “I overheard today when I was in the library that they were looking for someone to be the new AP history teacher. I thought that they meant promoting someone, not hiring someone new.” Elena explained. After hearing that Rebekah's eyes shot open. “Elijah mentioned something when we’re told to blend in that we should look into getting a job like he was. He had been awake longer than the rest of us, I bet he’s the new teacher. Oh I’ll kill him if he is.” Rebekah said, balling her hands into fists. The three childhood friends laughed at their new friends' temper with her siblings.

As if he was summoned Elijah appeared up on stage next to the principal “Hello students, welcome back! Seeing as a lot of the student body is collected tonight I felt it was best to introduce the new AP history teacher Mr Elijah Mikaelson. Please give Mr Mikaelson a warm welcome.” The principal finished clapping causing everyone to start clapping. “Thank you so very much for the warm welcome. I will try to teach to the best of my abilities, Thank you.” Elijah finished and stepped off the stage. The music returned, everyone once again started to dance. “Dear sister, isn't that wonderful? Your big brother, your teacher!” Kol said, appearing at the table. Rebekah in return punched her brother in the shoulder. “Rebekah, please do not harm our brother.” Elijah said coming up to them from the front. “Why didn’t you tell me that you are becoming a teacher here?” Rebekah partially whined at her older brother. “For this reaction right now Bekah.” Klaus spoke, coming to stand next to Kol. Rebekah huffed and rolled her eyes causing everyone to laugh.

About 15 minutes after the announcement a slow dance song turned on. People start shuffling to find a dance partner or their own partner. As the song got to the middle the lights went dark, music shut off. People start screaming, you can hear people trying to get out into the hallway. The light turns back on, the music restarts. As the small group gathered around the table looks around trying to see what happened they find that two of the people in the group are missing. “Where are Caroline and Elena? They were just standing here.” Bonnie points out to the group. Rebekah starts to look out into the crowd to try and spot anyone else. “The Salvatores and the hybrid seem to be missing as well.” Rebekah points to the area where they were previously standing.

Bonnie came to a realization “Damon had a plan to try and kill all of you.” Bonnie states, causing the four originals to look at her. “Caroline and I didn’t agree so we all got into an argument. This argument was the one where we noticed Elena acting weird.” Bonnie continued. The originals started catching on to what might have happened. “Tyler approached Caroline the other day, trying to play nice, Care just ignored basically wanted. If I had a good guess, with what happened at the beginning of the night, I’d put my money on Damon being a jackass and causing all of what just happened to get Caroline and Elena out of here.” Bonnie finished. At this point the group of the originals and Bonnie have moved out into the hallway.

Meanwhile

As the lights went out Tyler grabbed Caroline and took her into the guys locker room. “Seriously, kidnapping me? Great move Tyler.” Caroline said as she threw her hands in the air. “I knew you wouldn’t talk to me, so this is the only way we can talk.” Tyler spoke, motioning to the area they are in. Caroline turns her head away from him, clearly not willing to give him the time of day. “I see that you've been hanging around Rebekah. Care I’m worried about, originals can compel you.” Tyler said, reaching out to her. Caroline whipped around to face him. “I know all of that. I’m taking vervain, not because I don’t trust my friend, but because I never want to have anyone mess with my mind.” Caroline said, stepping closer to Tyler, anger clear across her face. Tyler took a few steps back, assuming that she wasn’t on vervain. “I’m just trying to look out for you. Even though you clearly want to take a break on us-” Tyler was cut off by Caroline raising her finger. “This” she spoke motioning between the two of them. “This is not a break. When you left Tyler you hurt me, I was alone and going through hell not only because of my dad dying but also because there was a crazy ass witch trying to use my friend to kill her children. So this is not a break Tyler we’re over.” Caroline spoke with venom in the statement. With that statement Tyler saw red, he lunged towards Caroline’s neck and bit down. Caroline’s screams were heard through the entire school

During

The light went Elena felt someone grab her and rush her out of the gym. When she is placed down she is met with the faces of Damon and Stefan in the cafeteria . “What the hell! Are you two serious right now?” Elena rages. “We’re trying to protect you Elena, the originals are bad news.” Damon spoke, stepping closer to her. Elena took a deep breath with her eyes closed, the brothers wearing looks of confusion on their faces. “Elena we just-” Stefan tried saying before was cut off by Elena Raising her hand at them. As Elena opens her eyes she speaks. “Damon, I can handle myself perfectly fine. I am in no danger being around Rebekah or any of her siblings. They have been more helpful with my transition within the last week than the two of you have been since the start.” Elena spoke in a calm voice, however you could hear the rage in her voice. Damon and Stefan look shocked at what was just said to them. Just as Damon was about to speak, the doors to the cafeteria opened showing the originals and Bonnie. “Well isn’t that quite the compliment.” Kol spoke, walking through the doors, Just as the Salvatores were going for the originals a blood chilling scream was heard through the halls. All heads turn to the hallway.

“Caroline” Bonnie said just before her and Rebekah took off running to where the scream came from. Elena’s eyes go wide and she turns around to face Damon, the look of murder clear on her face. “Where the fuck is Tyler?” Elena speaks directly to Damon. If looks could kill Damon would be six feet deep. “Tyler took Caroline to the locker room.” Stefan said, not willing to face the fury that would be his ex-girlfriend. At that moment Elena was not the only one seeing red Klaus’ hybrid eyes flash just ever so slightly. “Damon, what did you think you would accomplish by removing me and Caroline from the dance?” Elena seethes with anger. “We thought that you were being compelled by Rebekah. We were trying to save you.” Damon said, trying to see if he could play at her heartstrings. That plan backfired with Stefan speaking out “There was no ‘we’ it was all you Damon.” With that being explained the patience in the room broke. Elena flung herself at Damon throwing the both of them into the wall. Stefan tried to go and grab his brother but was stopped by Kol and Klaus, out of the corner of his eye he can see Elijah going to grab Elena off of Damon.

With Bonnie and Rebekah

Bonnie and Rebekah took off down the halls trying to find where their friends' screams came from. Just as the two were about to turn down the next hallway they see a figure standing in the middle of the hall. “As fun as it would be to see the two of you fight Tyler, unfortunately I can’t let you do that.” The voice emerged from the dark “Katherine” Rebekah spat out. “Rebekah, you remember me, oh how nice.” Katherine snarked out. “Bonnie, go around, find Caroline. I’ll deal with the trash.” Rebekah spoke out before she flashed forward. Rebekah and Katherine both disappear from sight. Bonnie continues down the hall until she gets to the guys locker room where she can hear fighting. As she walks into the locker room she sees Caroline holding her neck with one arm, Tyler on the floor with a broken neck and what seems to be other injuries, nothing truly fatal. Tyler begins to stir on the floor, he immediately makes eye contact with Bonnie. Tyler gets to his feet and tries to lunge at Caroline one more time but Bonnie gave him an aneurysm. Tyler grabbed his head in pain one more time making eye contact with Bonnie before pushing her into the lockers with enough force to make her hit her head. Bonnie ends up on the floor after the push, very disoriented she’s able to make out with her blurry vision Caroline getting in between her and Tyler. Caroline goes to push Tyler away, Tyler as a reaction twisted her wrist to the point you could hear something pop. Within a split second Tyler drops to the floor, Bonnie was able to pull her magic to break Tyler’s neck before looking at Caroline. “We need to go help Rebekah. Katherine.” was all Bonnie said before being helped up and headed outside where Rebekah and Katherine are.

Back to the cafeteria

The salvatores presumed that the originals would attack them so they stocked up with Alaric’s weapons. As Klaus rushed Stefan, Stefan was able to pull a stake from inside his jacket, not really aiming for anything he stabbed Klaus in the shoulder. “Oh come on now mate, I thought you knew better.” Klaus growls out, pulling the stake from his shoulder. Damon was finally able to get the pissed Elena off of him with what only seemed like a broken wrist. Damon can see Kol sneaking up behind Stefan and pulls two stakes out from his jacket. “Kol look out, Damon” Elena shouts, struggling in Elijah’s arm wanting to have another piece of Damon. With the heads up Kol turned around just before Damon could throw the stakes at the back of Kol’s legs, aiming for the tendons. The stakes still ended up in Kol’s legs but Kol was able to grab them before they did any real damage. Kol looked at the stakes in his hands and proceeded to throw the stakes into the back of Damon’s legs. “Why are you helping them? They have done nothing for.” Damon yelled out at Elena. Elena, still trying to attack Damon again, was able to get out Elijah’s grip and rushed to Damon's side. “Fuck you Damon. They haven’t once tried to control what I do with myself now that I’m a vampire.” Elena finished, snapping Damon's neck at the end. Hearing all the commotion Alaric came in with a stake gun, shot at Elijah the first original he saw, then disappeared from sight. Elijah who had been standing off to the side took off into the hallway. “Now, I believe that this is called discrimination. I could report for this.” Elijah spoke. Alaric stood in the middle of the hallway stunned, truly thinking that no one would follow him. Elijah rushed Alaric knocking him to the ground, stepping on his leg hard enough to hear a snap. Back in the cafeteria, the stake that had been in the hands of Klaus found a home in Stefan’s abdomen. Just as Klaus was going to snap Stefan's neck Bonnie rushed in. “Outside, Right now”

Outside (Just before Bonnie came in)

Rebekah had rushed Katherine outside to keep her away from Bonnie. “You know, I really hate you.” Rebekah says a little out of breath. As they two went outside they ended up fighting quite a bit. Rebekah and Katherine threw each other around and at one point Katherine had pulled out a stake and stabbed Rebekah in the shoulder causing Rebekah to go on her knees for a second, Katherine took that as an opportunity to kick at Rebekah knee. Rebekah lifted Katherine off of her and threw her to the ground, having Katherine landing on her arm. When the doors opened and revealed Caroline and Bonnie, Katherine took that as an opportunity to run. “Caroline.” Rebekah rushed to her side. The blonde did not look very well, clearly being affected by the hybrid bite. “Bonnie go and Klaus now.” Rebekah said. Bonnie ran off and within five minutes Klaus, Bonnie, Kol, and Elijah were outside. Caroline was now on the ground in Rebekah’s arms. Klaus rushed over, scooping Caroline in his arms. “It’s alright, I’ve got you love.” Klaus said to Caroline. “We should go home to tend to our wounds.” Rebekah said. The siblings shared a look. They small group started walking when Kol noticed Bonnie limping. “Darling, come here.” Kol walked over, picking up Bonnie. As they continue ending at the Mikaelson home they are greeted with the sight of the eldest brother. “What the bloody hell happened to you lot?” Finn asked

Okay Homecoming chapters done. I did have to end on a cliffhanger to correctly move with the story. I really hope you liked it and had fun reading these chapters.

“What the bloody hell happened to you lot?” Finn asked the group that had just entered the Mikaelson mansion. “Not now brother.” Klaus replied, paying more attention to the writhing Caroline in his arms. The group of people who had just entered the home moved to the living room. Klaus, who still has the bitten Caroline in his arm, sat on the couch to give Caroline his blood to heal her “Come on Love drink.” Klaus spoke in a low voice. Caroline sat up ever so slightly to drink from Klaus’ wrist. After having her fill Caroline sat back in the arms of Klaus passing out from exhaustion from fighting the venom. Klaus moves Caroline to the couch to let her sleep. Klaus stands to explain the situation to his eldest brother “We were attacked by the Salvatores’, that teacher, and the mutt.” Finn gave his brother a questioning look. “Why would they attack you?” Finn questions. “They thought that we were compelling them.” Rebekah spoke. “Since I’m not going to Damon or Stefan for help they think I’m being compelled along with Caroline.” Elena spoke up.”I thought you and Caroline took vervain?” Bonnie questioned. The Mikaelson’s looked confused, never once have they compelled Caroline or Elena or even tried in the time they spent with them.

“We take vervain to build tolerance.” A weak voice speaks from the living room, Caroline sits up. Everyone went over to check on Caroline upon seeing her awake. “How are you, Care?” Elena asks as Klaus brings Caroline a blood bag, Caroline accepts the blood bag. “We take the vervain to build a tolerance to it, so we can’t get bombarded by someone trying to hurt us.” Caroline explained. “Trust me being on the end of a vervain needle is not fun.” Caroline laughed out. “Those werewolves?” Elijah asked, Caroline nodded her head to signal yes. “What werewolves?” Rebekah questioned. “When Tyler first triggered his curse, a pack of werewolves that his uncle knew. The woman Jules thought I knew where Tyler was one day, he ended up being with Stefan. So she kidnapped me. Her and her boyfriend would spray me in the face with vervain. I heard a commotion outside then Tyler came in undid the latch on the cage and when I walked outside the werewolves were subdued. Turns out the warlock that subdued the werewolves was one working for Elijah.” Caroline finishes her explanation.

The night went on the four girls ended up in Rebekah's room (Bonnie was healed from her injuries) “Elena, do you think your sire bond is broken? I heard you yelling at Damon.” Rebekah questioned. Elena looks towards Rebekah “I hope so or the next time I see him is going to be difficult.” The four girls had taken off their makeup, let their hair down, and had put the dresses away. Now sitting on Rebekah’s bed they recount what happened trying to piece the night together. “What about Katherine, what do we do about her?” Caroline asked “I don’t know, I do worry that my brother still has a soft spot for her.” Rebekah speaks about her worries with her friends. “But we’ve had a long night so rest. We can start planning on what to do tomorrow.” Caroline spoke. The others agree they get comfortable in Rebekah’s room and fall asleep.

In the middle of the night Elena wakes up and goes to get some fresh air. As she steps out into the night she hears footsteps behind her, As she turns she is met with the friendly face of Elijah. “Why are you awake?” Elena inquired. Elijah smiled lightly “I could ask you the same Elena” Elena turned back to face the night “Can't sleep.” Elijah nodded his head in understanding, joining Elena on the steps in the back of the house. “I can’t stop thinking about what happened tonight.” Elena whispers. Elijah looks to her “We couldn’t have anticipated an attack like this.” Elena nods her head in understanding “But we knew that they wanted to attack you. We could’ve done something.” Elena rushed out. Elijah placed a hand on Elena’s shoulder. “We place no blame on you, just take a breath and tomorrow is a new day. We will face that problem that is the Salvatore’s tomorrow.” Elena understood Elijah's words and stood to head back up to Rebekah’s room “Thank you Elijah and good night.” Elijah nodded “Good Night Elena” Elena went back upstairs to sleep for the night now that her mind lay in peace.

Chapter done! We will get more into revenge in the next chapter. I hope you like it took quite some time to finish but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

The morning after Homecoming everyone gathered down in the dining room from breakfast. It was quiet, deadly quiet. Rebekah broke the silence, “What are we going to do about the attack last night.” Just before anyone could respond there was a knock at the door. “I’ll go get the door.” Elijah spoke up.

When Elijah returned he returned with Stefan. “Mr Salvatore has something to say.” All eyes turned to Stefan. “I need to apologize for my actions last night. I was blindly following my brother when I shouldn't have and for that I’m sorry.” Stefan said with sincerity in his voice. Caroline spoke up. “Did you know that Tyler was going to bite me?” Stefan looked taken aback “Tyler bit you?” Stefan said with shock in his voice. “Yeah he bit her and gave me a concussion.” Bonnie was the one to speak up this time. Stefan looked at Bonnie and Caroline “I didn’t know that. Probably Damon’s idea.” Rebekah looked at Stefan “What about Katherine showing her face last night.” Stefan looked at Rebekah and responded. “I didn’t know that until this morning, I found her in the kitchen.” Stefan spoke with honesty. Klaus looked at him trying to figure out if he was telling the truth. “I believe you. However you did try to attack my family and we will not forget that, But I believe that you can acquit yourself.” Klaus said

Stefan spoke “I will try to acquit myself and once again I’m sorry.” Stefan turned to walk out of the Mikaelson home. “I do hope you know that this mercy will not be extended to your brother.” Klaus said, stopping Stefan in his tracks. “I’m aware that you will retaliate against my brother and the others. I know I was wrong to blindly follow my brother and his plan. I’m mad at him, but I’m mostly angry with myself for going along with it.” Stefan said, turning back around to face Klaus. “I will see you out Mr Salvatore.” Elijah spoke.

As Elijah led Stefan out the door the others started planning to get back at Damon, Katherine, and Tyler. “We should get them all at once, it would be easier to take them down in one fell swoop.” Caroline suggested. The people at the table agreed. “But we need a plan that will make sense. We can't just approach them and try to be nice, They’ll see right through it.” Elena said. Bonnie looked at both of her long time friends “We could always turn them against each other.” Bonnie spoke. The others at the table gave Bonnie a confused look. “Tyler’s going to be freaking out that he bit Caroline. Damon's going to be pissed off that his plan didn't work and trying to come up with something new that he’ll believe will work again.” Bonnie explained. “We also have to count Katherine in all of this.” Rebekah spoke up. “Katherine is most likely going to treat this a game to win and stay until she believes that she won.” Caroline explained. Everyone at the table gave Caroline a confused look. “How do you know about that Love” Klaus said, looking Caroline in the eye. Caroline looked away from Klaus' questioning gaze “When I first turned since Katherine was the one that killed me she used me as a puppet for information.” Caroline explained. Klaus could not hide the rage in his eyes after hearing that Katherine killed Caroline.

Caroline put a hand on Klaus arm to tell that it’s okay, that she’s okay. “Damon is going to keep trying to ‘get me back’ because he can’t get anything through that thick head of his.” Elena said, breaking the moment between Caroline and Klaus.. “But what about Katherine, what would she want?” Rebekah questioned. “Katerina would want an audience with Niklaus and myself.” Elijah said as he returned to the table. Caroline shook her head. “She’ll want her freedom, the only way she knows how to get is going through Elijah.” Caroline said. Everyone at the table understood. “Tyler is most likely going to approach Caroline to beg for forgiveness.” Bonnie said. “Katherine is most likely going to approach Elijah today and Tyler the same with Caroline. When that happens is when Elena will find Damon and tell him what she knows about the other two and their approaches. That will spark an argument between the three of them then and only then will they be distracted enough to retaliate against them.” Caroline laid out the plan. Everyone agreed to this plan. “Looks like we know what’s next.”

Okay short-ish chapter, But I hope you like it. Thai took awhile to create but in the end I got it done and out for all of you to read.

With the plan in place the day was to go on without a hitch. Elena, Bonnie and Caroline went out on the town. As they approached the Grill, Tyler came out to talk to Caroline. “Caroline, can we talk?” Tyler said. “I don’t want to talk to you.” Caroline spat at Tyler. Tyler visibly recoiled at the anger in Caroline’s voice. Caroline and the other girls went to walk away “I’m sorry Caroline. I didn’t mean to bite you.” Tyler said, keeping up with the three girls. “Sorry doesn’t cut it this time Tyler. You bit me, gave Bonnie a concussion. Sorry, it just doesn’t cut it.” Caroline said while walking away. Tyler looked at the ground while under the venomous gaze of Elena and Bonnie. Bonnie and Elena went to catch up with Caroline.

At the Mikaelson Home

Elijah was sitting in the sitting room reading when the doorbell rang. Being the only person at the house he went to get the door. When Elijah opened the door to no surprise the person at the door was Katherine. “Katerina, how can I help you?” Elijah said moving to let the woman in the mansion “I want my freedom Elijah, and you're the only person who can help me get it.” Katherine said entering the mansion “I can’t help but feel like you’re trying to use me, Katerina.” Elijah vocalized. “I’m not, not this time. Elijah please I need your help.” Katherine begged. Elijah gave a look “How do you plan to get your freedom after last night's incident?” Elijah proposed. Katherine paled. “I will find a way to be helpful. Please Elijah I can’t live like this anymore.” Katherine pleaded. “I will think about your offer for the time being, don’t come here until I contact you.”

When Katherine left Elijah called Rebekah. “Ms. Forbes was right she came here.” Elijah spoke into the phone. “She wawa also right about Tyler approaching her. I’ll text Elena that she’s next.” Rebekah responded.

At the Boarding house

There was a knock on the door, Damon was the only one at home for the time, opened the door to find Elena on the other side. “Finally came to your senses?” Damon asked, “I’m just here to tell you a few things I know about.” Elena pipped up “What things?” Damon became suspicious “I take you didn’t hear from Tyler then, Last night he bit Caroline and tried to apologize this morning.” Elena said. Damon gave a look at Elena. “I also heard that Katherine is trying to bargain for her freedom with Elijah.” Elena continued “But I assume you knew all of that seeing you’re in cahoots with one another.” Elena said, turning around and getting in her car and leaving.

Later that night at the Salvatore boarding house

“Way to go Tyler, biting Caroline. Now they’ll never see that the Mikaelsons are just using them.” Damon yelled, just as Tyler walked into the boarding house. “You bit Caroline! Are you crazy?” Katherine raised her voice at Tyler. “You have no room to talk about crazy Katherine.” Damon spoke. Katherine gave him a look. “What are you talking about?” Katherine said, puzzled. “Going to Elijah to barter for your freedom. I thought you wanted to take them down.” Damon said, exasperated. “You went to barter your freedom?” Tyler asked.. “How do you know all of this?” Katherine asked. “How I know this doesn’t matter, all that matters is the two of you are screwing me.” Damon yelled.

Outside the boarding house the Mikaelson’s, Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena watched the three argue.

“No Damon it matters as to how you found out Tyler bit Caroline and that I went to barter for my freedom.” Katherine demanded. “Now that I think about it I saw Elena’s car pull away from here earlier.” Tyler mentioned. “Of course, Elena told you.” Katherine said, throwing her hands up in the air. “So what if she told me, the two of you should have told me. Now we’re screwed.” Damon said.

As the three continued to argue over who did what and who screwed over who Bonnie, Caroline, Elena, and the Mikaelson’s went towards the house.

As the three argued there was a knock at the door. “Who’s that?” Katherine asked. “I don’t know,” Damon answered as he walked toward the door. When he opened the door he was met with no one at the door. Damon closed the and turned around to the sight of the Mikaelson’s, Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena. “Hello mate.” Klaus said. What Damon saw was Katherine pinned to the wall by Rebekah and Tyler subdued by Kol. “You see mate, I don’t take attacks on my family very well.” Klaus started. Damon's eyes started darting around trying to find an exit. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you mate.” Klaus said. Damon being Damon didn’t listen. Damon tried to run towards the back door but was quickly stopped by Elijah.

When Damon woke up from his neck being broken he saw Katherine and Tyler tied to chairs. They looked broken and bloodied. “Now you wake up.” Katherine screamed. Tyler was knocked unconscious from all the blood loss. “What happened?” Damon questioned. “Well after Elijah snappened your and you dropped, They tied up to these chairs and kept cutting until the vervain was out of our systems. Rebekah and Kol had their fun with Tyler and Klaus tortured me.” Katherine began to explain. “He disappeared this morning, I think he went over to the Mikaelson and spoke to them.” Katherine finished. Damon tried to get up but was stopped when pain shot through his abdomen. “Oh yeah, in a fit of rage. Caroline ran you through with the leg of the table.” Damon looked and low and behold there was a leg from the coffee table right through his abdomen.

As Damon pried the wooden leg out of his stomach he heard the door open “What the hell happened here?” The voice of Alaric came from the front of the house. “The Mikaelsons attacked us.” Damon said. “Bonnie, Caroline and Elena were here too.” Katherine said, trying and failing to get out of the ropes that bind her. Alaric walked over to Damon and helped him pull out the leg out of his stomach. “They’re being compelled, they're not in their right mind.” Damon defended. “Damon, are you dumb? They take vervain and you can’t compel a witch.” Katherine said as Alaric undid the ropes.

Katherine and Damon started to argue, and during the time they were arguing Tyler woke up. “Well look who decided to join the party.” Damon stated seeing that Tyer woke. “I was drained of all my blood while you took a nap Damon.” Tyler said as he stood up. Tyler and Damon began to argue.

Outside the boarding house Stefan stood in the forest talking to Klaus. “They look ready to tear each other apart.” Stefan said on the phone. “That's what we’re counting on,” Klaus said, his voice coming over the phone. “Katherine figured out that I went and spoke to all of you.” Stefan explained. “It might not be a good idea to go home mate.” Klaus. Stefan shook his head “I have no choice but to go back home.” Stefan said. “Be careful mate.” Klaus said as he hung up. Stefan walked into the boarding house “And where have you been.” Damon said accusingly “Out, what happened here?” Stefan asked “The Mikaelsons, Bonnie, Caroline, and Elena” Katherine said. “They tortured us.” Tyler said. “That’s not what matters right now. Right now what matters is how we're going to get back at them.” Damon explained

It was two days after the plan went down and it was quiet throughout the town. Over the two days the four girls grew closer as they helped Rebekah with her Miss Mystic training. “Okay, business for today is the dress. I think we should make that today's first task and go from there.” Caroline said as the four girls lounged in her room. “Sounds good, where should we start?” Rebekah asked. “I got my dress from a small boutique in town.” Elena said. “Sounds great, lead the way.” Rebekah said standing.

The four girls went into town to the boutique where Elena got her dress from. After a few minutes Rebekah found a nice red floor length dress. “I think I’m going to go with this one.” Rebekah said, stepping out of the dressing room. She did a spin to show off the dress. The dress had thin straps and a square neckline and was the right amount of flowy. “Oh Rebekah, that looks so good on you.” Elena said.

As the girls returned to Caroline’s they were discussing what they would do to help Rebekah with learning the dance. “I helped Caroline, I could help you.” Bonnie offered. “You could also maybe ask one of your brothers.” Caroline said. “The only one of my brothers that would probably help would be Elijah. Finn’s too busy, Nik would complain, and Kol would just laugh at me.” Rebekah said. “Who were you thinking about asking to be your escort?” Elena asked. “I was actually thinking about asking Stefan. I’ve danced with him before so I know he can dance, I’m just worried he won’t want to be my escort.” Rebekah explained. “Stefan was actually supposed to be my escort but something happened and Damon ended up being the one who escorted me.” Elena said.

As they entered Caroline’s house they went to Caroline’s room to continue talking. “Do you know who is going to be judging the pageant?” Rebekah asked Caroline. “For our year it was people from the founding families.” Caroline said pointing between her Elena. “Should I be worried about any one from the council knowing about me?” Rebekah asked. “From our understanding the only people who know about you and your family are the sheriff and Tyler's mom.” Bonnie explained. Rebekah nodded in response. “Okay now that’s out of the way, we have to talk about your resume.” Caroline started. “Now since you pretty much joined in all of the committees I’m in and practically became my second in command I think you’ll be fine in that area.” Caroline finished. Rebekah shook her head in understanding.

After a few hours of the four girls working on what would be Rebekahs makeup for Miss Mystic Falls they decided to go to the Grill to eat dinner. As they walked into the Grill they spotted Damon at the bar. “Just ignore him.” Bonnie said, walking to the usual booth of Caroline, Elena and herself. The four sat down and started looking over the menu. Just as they started looking over the menu Damon walks over. “Well, would you look at the four musketeers, enjoying dinner together.” Damon said. “Go away Damon.” Elena said without making eye contact. Damon looked at Elena in shock. “Elena, I don’t know what the Mikaelson’s are telling you but they are manipulating you. They are not the good guys in this situation.” Damon said, practically pleading with Elena. “And you are?” Caroline asked. Damon looked at Caroline and brushed her off. “I’m not talking to you blondie.” Damon said. “She asked the right question though.” Elena said, making eye contact with Damon. Damon looked at Elena. “I can help you with your transition. Whatever they’re doing is just manipulation.” Damon said. Elena went to speak and her voice cut out. Elena gave a panicked look over at Rebekah, Caroline and Bonnie. “Go away Damon, we're trying to have a nice time and you're being a bother.” Rebekah said. “And a dick.” Bonnie added. At that comment Damon walked away. “Let’s order our food to go. And head back to my place.” Caroline said. The three other girls nodded.

The four arrived back at the Forbes household. “I thought this was gone.” Elena said, on the verge of tears. “Hey take a deep breath we’ll figure this out and if we can’t we’ll just kill him okay.” Caroline said, trying to get a smile out of her friend. Elena laughed at what Caroline said, tears still in her eyes. “We will figure this out.” Bonnie said, touching Elena on the arm. Elena pulled Bonnie into a hug. “Did Klaus find anything out about the reaction Elena’s having to Damon?” Caroline asked Rebekah, who was typing away on her phone. “I just texted him and he said that it seems that strong emotions are what are causing this sire bond. We just have to figure out which emotion it is.” Rebekah explained to the other girls. “Well it’s not love otherwise we would have figured that out already.” Elena said. “Nor anger seeing as how you wanted to rip him to shreds on homecoming night.” Rebekah said.

“Fear.” Caroline said. The other turned to her confused. “It’s fear now, at first it was something else but now it's fear.” Caroline explained. “How is it fear?” Elena asked, “I would know if I was afraid of Damon.” Elena finished. “It’s not fear of Damon, it's the fear of the control he has over you.” Caroline said. “That makes some sense.” Bonnie said. Elena tilted her head. “Think about how you were tonight when Damon came over to the table. You were not making eye contact and when your voice cut out you got scared.” Bonnie explained to Elena. “When you were human you trusted him to lead you into the correct choices and in the right direction. Now that you're a vampire and no longer trusting what he says you’re afraid subconsciously that you’re making the wrong choice when choosing a different path.” Caroline said. Elena shook her head in understanding. “How do we fix that?” Elena asked. “You have to trust in yourself that you’re making the right choice.” Rebekah said.
