Caroline is incredibly both independent and codependent at once, and I respect her, and just know that in this hodge-podge universe she is absolutely living her life without thinking of Klaus every second, but like, this is all about how she is feeling without him, and the times that she really misses him.
Canon is mostly irrelevant. Actually they were kind of puppets in my play because I listened to Orville Peck and started feeling something but I was thinking of them at the same time and it all melded together.
