Work Text:
“You’re still here?” asked Jordan. The morning after, they typically woke up alone. Yet last night, they’d hoped to wake up to Marie.
Marie blinked down at them. She offered a sheepish smile, the one Jordan had dreamed of. “This is my room.”
“Oh. Right.” Only then did they realize they’d shifted into their female form during the night.
Marie didn’t seem to care. She leaned forward and kissed Jordan all the same, wordlessly answering every question Jordan had just begun to ask: ones about Marie, and about themself.
“But you’re always welcome,” Marie told them. Jordan kissed her back.
