Steve balks, but doesn’t deny it. You hate to admit it, but a small part of you likes the idea of him flirting with you. Has he been flirting? If he has, it isn’t how you imagined Steve Harrington flirting would be like. You always figured he was all heavy cologne and cheesy pick-up lines, not fumbling jokes and awkward movie recommendations.
“He helped me find tonight’s movie,” you say, holding up the tape as proof.
Steve moves forward, ushering you towards the counter with a hand on your back. The contact is warm and sends a pleasant tingle up your spine.
“I was just about to check her out.” He says.
Robin snorts. “I’m sure you were.”

Summary
Vernon wasn't sure how he'd missed it, because now that he was seeing it, it was obvious. He didn't see Seungkwan as delicate or something—despite his limp wrists and iced coffees and intricate skincare routine, Seungkwan was his jock boyfriend, not the other way around—but careful was just how Vernon had always treated small things, like cats or kids or Jihoon's outward displays of affection; that was why all of those things liked him so much.
Between developing a consistent workout routine and not quite having stopped growing yet, Vernon's pretty big now. And that's not surprising, but he hadn't understood that it would also mean that Seungkwan would be smaller than him. When the realization hits him, he isn't quite sure what to do.

Summary
Ray was a Hall. It meant he was deadweight, that loving things was dangerous... mostly, it meant he was an idiot. Which was why he knew he was going to fall in love with her the first time he saw her fly, why he wouldn't have done anything to stop it even if he could, but knowing that didn't make it any easier to say.
