Work Text:
‘He’s so small,’ Aiden whispered down at the bundle in his arms.
Guxart nodded at him, expression serious.
‘He is. He’s very little. Our littlest kit. You’re going to have to be very grown up and help us take care of him,’ he explained.
Aiden was only half listening. His attention had been caught by the sliver of bright blue peeking through under the baby’s eyelids.
‘What’s his name?’ he whispered.
‘Gaetan,’ Guxart replied.
Aiden bent his head and laid a tiny kiss on the end of Gaetan’s nose.
‘I’ll look after you,’ he promised seriously. ‘For always. Little brother.’
