another day in my cramped house full of inventions and such. i'm finishing up the rest of my robots, ready to send a message to some.. devices. i put on a fake device on mine and tsukasa's necks (more like a device to communicate with each other in case of trouble) in case our room got invaded, kissed him on the forehead, put my mask on and climbed upwards.
the rhythmic beeping of 'peace devices' ring around me as i slip out of my window. i'm under house arrest for staging another riot alongside my robots and tsukasa. thank goodness he's asleep, otherwise he would be so worried.
i walk around, hoping not to seem too suspicious, and then i make it. shibuya crossing. if i had a device (no point using 'peace' anynore), then it would immediately go off and alert the authorities.
i'm already in enough trouble as is, why not i cause some more chaos?
i whisper some code, letting tsukasa know where i am and i begin to send them to explode right around the cameras, and the drones. there is lots of beeping, tv screens turn a deep red colour, kind of like tsukasa's cheeks when- ok i'm done here.
well, they begin to chase me as i slip and slide around. i press the emergency button to let tsukasa know that i'm in trouble, and almost instantly, a strong gust of wind (and a kiss on the cheek) knocks over all of the tvs, with only static showing on the screens.
tsukasa grabs onto my hand, through the neon lights and the unsuspecting police drones, and drags us back into our room, throwing off any suspicious material off me and himself and leaping onto the bed, me quickly following. he presses his head against my chest and wraps my arms around me.
'hmm, someone's happy i'm ok, hmm?'
tsukasa doesn't say anything, then he lifts his head upwards.
'rui.' he says with a quiet but stern whisper. 'what the fuck were you thinking?!'
'sorry' i respond 'just wanted to.'
'i was so scared when i felt the device, i thought you had gotten yourself caught, and then...'
'i know tsukasa, i'm so sorry..for making you worry like this..'
we lie in silence. as tsukasa goes to open his mouth, we hear a swarm of smaller drone bots, and we close our eyes, hoping we didn't get caught. they scan us, and leave.
'seems like they're looking for us..'
'yeah, did you manage to get everything sorted at the crossing?'
'yep, and i caused quite a commotion'
'incredible.' tsukasa says, then hugs me tighter.
'so uh, tsukasa, what do you think about us possibly being the only resistance here?'
'rui, you always ask that question, and did you just say 'possibly' ?'
'mhm, i believe there is two other people who are part of the resistance too, but we hadn't ran into each other just yet.'
'oh my fucking god rui! when did you find that out?'
'well, i did a little look around earlier and saw two girls running away, and they didn't seem to have devices and such. i bet if we could convince them to help us'
'that's a good idea! then we could finally get to our dream..'
'since our house arrest gets removed later today, we should have a little walk around with them and hide what we are doing..'
'that was exactly what i was thinking rui! then it'll be us four against the world! how would we fit everyone though? its already cramped enough with just us two..'
'so i built a basement, that we could both move into, and i slowly moved some of our stuff down there..'
'you. built. a. WHAT?!' tsukasa yells.
'shhh, you don't want them to find you, do you? and that's why i made it, to hide everyone.'
'wow' tsuaksa says, in utter disbelief as i lead him down.
'so here's my plan, invite the two girls here, maybe for some food, then talk about us. seem good?'
'yeah, i'll try get that done as soon as i can't
'alright, i'll make it nicer and more welcoming here..'
'but you hate cleaning.'
'true..'
'wouldn't it be better if we swapped then? i'll be in charge of the house, and you with the girls?'
'i might as well'
'alright, lets go back up to bed and get some sleep, we need to get this done.
this time, i got to be the little spoon and we fell asleep quickly.
above on the roof, a certain green haired girl was looking down, surrounds herself with a mirage of screens, then flies off into the moonlight.
