My name is Oroku Saki, and I am the Shredder. I set my life on revenge for Hamato Yoshi, who ruined my life 16 years ago when he attacked me for the woman he stole from me. It was then that the woman I was in love with jumped in between us and died in the aftermath. Hamato Yoshi, as well as I, however, survived, although I suffered great injury. I vowed to avenge the love of my life and my daughter – a goal that I will accomplish even if it is the last thing I will ever do.
Hamato Yoshi will pay for what he has done for me, I will make sure of it. In the time that has passed since that night, I have been preparing; waiting. Building my reputation and clan for the night that Hamato Yoshi dares to show his pathetic, worthless face again so I can make him pay for what he has done to me. For what he has done to my family. I have trained my daughter, Oroku Karai, to hate Hamato Yoshi as much as I. It is the day that Hamato Yoshi shows his dreaded face again that is the day I will enact my revenge upon him. He has cursed my family for too long; haunting us every moment that we open our eyes. For Hamato Yoshi is the reason that our clan is no longer what it once was.
They, New York City, society, considers me a “villain” for the things I have done to achieve my goals. New York City, Hamato Yoshi, even my own clan, in the past, never approved of my actions. What they don’t see, however, is that if New York City does not follow me, if I cannot obtain my goals and defeat Hamato Yoshi for what he has done to my family – we will all fall under his rule of tyranny. He spits on my family clan even though he was the one adopted into it. That rat wants nothing but revenge, for he claims it was I that led the love of my life to her doom. He is the one you should be against.
I have done nothing more than attempt to achieve closure for the death of my lover. Would you not do the same if you were in my shoes? Some things that I have done may not have been moral, but I am not the true villain; I am here to save this planet from the tyrant - the true villain - that is Hamato Yoshi. I have not maimed several people nor ruined lives like he has; I have not turned loved ones against each other nor killed an entire Clan like Hamato Yoshi has done. He is the one that wishes to take over the world in his act of revenge against me. I am only doing what is best for the people to stop this from happening.
Why not, instead of foolishly trying to stop me, join me? Help me get rid of the real villain that is Hamato Yoshi. He is the one who killed the love of my life, he is the one that tried to kill my daughter, and he is the one that wishes to take over the world, as well. We as a society should not be focusing on what I have done, but instead on what Hamato Yoshi does and gets away with, all because you see him as the “hero,” even though he is not. I am here to tell you the truth, and only the truth. I am not the villain in this story, but I am telling you who is. So, instead of banding against me, join the Foot Clan and help rid of the waste on this planet.
I am not alone in my brigade against Hamato Yoshi. These encephalon-like intelligent aliens consider themselves to be against “the ones called the turtles and their allies.” They call themselves the Kraang. So is Vizioso, of the Italian Mafia situated in New York City, and his men. Viziso and his men wish to rid New York City of the monsters that have been plaguing it for years; he and his men are also trying to save this city. We are all trying to get rid of Hamato Yoshi and his new disciples, who ruined all of our lives. We are all only trying to achieve peace in this hell forsaken world.
The Foot Clan fell when Hamato Yoshi burned down the family house 16 years ago. It was his jealousy over the love of my life that led to the Clan’s downfall. Had it not been because of him, me and my lover would have left the clan happily and lived a good life, with our daughter. Instead, I was forced to watch as my lover got in-between our fight and died as a result – all because of Hamato Yoshi’s jealousy. The building burnt down, and nothing was left in the end; me and Hamato Yoshi were the sole survivors of the Foot Clan, alongside my daughter, whom I managed to save that night. I am only glad that she managed to avoid the line of fire that tragic night; I am not sure what I would have done otherwise.
It is only because of my survival that the clan was able to rise back up. I was able to rebuild and re-conquer what once belonged to the Foot Clan after what Hamato Yoshi did to it – after it fell – several years ago. I have reconquered several locations to expand my army and rebuilt the Foot’s reputation. It is because of me that the Foot Clan still thrives. It is because of Hamato Yoshi that we fell all those years ago, and I will not make that same mistake again. Befallen, Hamato Yoshi will suffer for his crimes; risen, the Foot Clan will expand and continue to grow and commune in strength and power. I, Oroku Saki, vow to make Hamato Yoshi pay for what he has done to me, my family, and the Foot Clan.
