“I’m back bitches!”
*Tech emerges out of nowhere*
“You wot?”
“Who?”
“How?”
“Why?”
“Tech?! Is that really you?”
*Yeah, a few of the Batchers are really playing it coy*
“Who else would I be?”
“You died.”
“I am telling you all - I. Am. Tech. Do I need to spell it?”
“Um, maybe?”
“If you are Tech, then you’re a ghost.”
“Cause we all saw ya! Well not Cross but yeah, you plunged in there real good like.”
*Tech stares, glares at the rest of the Batch, frustrated as kark, then sighs theatrically*
“Well as it turns out, I’m not dead.”
“But, we saw you… ya know, die!”
“Yeah, literally plummeting. Into the very depths… well, at least towards the ground. It was cloudy back then.”
“Yeah, “Tech”” *uses air quotes* “We were there. You’re dead dude!”
“Well…” *chuckles* “What can I say, death is a social construct.”
“Oh.”
‘It is?”
“Never heard of it!”
“Yeah.”
“Death!? What is that?”
*Tech rolls his eyes*
“I am not dead.”
“So, you’re not dead.”
“No.”
*The others poke Tech, he swats the offending fingers away, the stares and glares continue, someone even sticks their tongue out*
*So, what you are saying is that you are Tech and that you are alive.”
*Stating the obvious, leave it to Hunter!*
“Exactly.”
“You look, different somehow though.”
“Different how?”
“Dunno, something odd for sure.”
“Yeah, you do look odd. Tots different.”
“You two are right, there’s sometimes off with your face, Tech!”
“My face?! What do you mean my face. It’s the same pretty one I’ve always had.”
*The others chuckle*
“Heh! Pretty!”
*Tech squints real hard trying to focus his vision*
*The others wave their hands in front of his face, Tech does not even blink, not seeing the hands*
“What was that?”
*The others exchange glances, Tech still does not see what they are doing*
“There’s definitely something there - missing. Right guys?”
“Yeah, yeah Tech. Something about your eyes maybe?”
“Eyes? What the? What do you mean my eyes are wrong?”
“Well not wrong but like something missing… right… here.”
*Pokes gently at the area around Techs eyes*
*Tech swats off the offensive finger again*
“You people! It’s my goggles! They’re gone! That’s why it took so long for me to find you lot! I am unable to see!”
“Ooooh…”
“Yeah….”
“The goggles!”
*Slaps forehead with palm*
“Yes, you dummies! I need new goggles!!!”
