    Cullen however still was very recognisably himself. Heartrendingly so. He was still in his familiar armour with the red fur mantle around his shoulders. His unique helmet, a lion with its mouth open in a fearsome snarl, sat in front of him. What couldn’t be disguised was the large red crystals that seemed to grow out of his back, the identical red glow of his eyes as they stared dead ahead with no emotion, and the grey, sickly look of his skin. He was transformed but not so far that he was completely alien, just enough so that he was now not the Commander of the Inquisition any longer.

    AU - Cullen is captured and turned into a Red Templar against his will with the goal of killing the Inquisitor
