For as long as he could remember, Peter has always wanted a father. He couldn’t remember his biological father Weill since he had died when he was only a few years old.
And uncle Ben had always been…well uncle Ben. Though there relationship was strong, Peter never felt comfortable enough to call Ben ‘dad’. So their relationship was forever constricted to uncle and nephew.
When uncle Ben died, Peter believed that his chances of having a male role model was over.
Then Tony stark entered.
If someone had told him years ago that his childhood hero and idol would become his first proper father figure, he would have laughed at them.
But as he pictures the way Tony stark hugged him like he never wanted to let him go after he got back from a mugging situation gone wrong last Wednesday and he compares it to the way flash’s dad is completely ignoring his own son who is trying to show him the results he got for todays math test, he realises how incredibly lucky he is.
