Niffty POV
⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹˚₊‧───────────────‧₊˚⊹
Niffty was having an amazing time. She loved chasing the bugs that crept into the alleyway. She loved the feeling and the sound of them popping. The disgusting little creatures were even worse here than in the living world. Her needle was faster than those little monsters. She hated her new form. She hated this filthy place.
But then, she made a mistake. She ran into a dead end, and the roaches cornered her. They crawled all over her, biting and scratching and tickling. She hated it.
She screamed and flailed, trying to get them off her. She wished she had some fire or bleach or something to burn them with. But she had nothing. She was doomed.
Or so she thought.
Suddenly, she heard a loud bang and a flash of light. The roaches scattered, and she felt a pair of arms lift her. She looked up and saw a man, or rather, a male demon. He had red hair, a red suit, and a pair of antlers. He had a smile that was both charming and terrifying. He looked like a deer, but not a cute one. A scary one.
"Are you alright, little one?" he asked, his voice sounding like a radio.
She blinked, confused. "Little one? I'm not little! I'm 22!"
He raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me, miss. I thought you were one of the hellborn demons." He said, sounding apologetic.
He put her back down and backed away, giving her some space.
She huffed, crossing her arms. She gets mistaken for a child all the time. "Well, I can't help it if I'm short. It's not like I chose to be this way."
He chuckled. "Of course not. It's not your fault. But you shouldn't be out here alone at night."
She rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. I can take care of myself. I've been here for a while. I know how it works."
He paused for a second, thinking. He sighed. "Never mind. Look, why don't you come with me? I'll take you to a nice place where you can have a decent meal. How does that sound?"
She was intrigued. She liked bad boys and here was one of them. He was the Radio Demon, the most feared and powerful sinner in all of hell. He had invited her to dinner, and she couldn't resist. Of course, she recognized him from all the posers she had seen.
"Alright!" She exclaimed, hopping towards the alleyway exit. She was eager to see where he would take her.
He seemed surprised by her willingness and started walking right behind her.
